Has anyone been able to root the ME375CL or upgrade it to Lollipop?
Short answer - No!
I have not seen anyone from this team or anywhere else on the Internet for that matter that has been able to root this device.
Asus MeMO Pad 7 LTE
I've done exhaustive research for the past week, tried every solution I could find to root this device without any joy but I'm always looking for new options, hope someone comes up with one. Solutions I've tried that failed:
Mobile Go paid version
Kingo Root
KingRoot
BaiduRoot
z4Root
RootZenFone
OneClickRoot
FramaRoot
iRoot
RootGenius
SuperRoot
Manual Root Method
Still no root method, eh?
Trying to root K00x
Any solutions ????

Hi, i need to unlock bootloader of my galaxy tab so i need to root first and so i selected exploit (psneuter) and rooted with superoneclick and then when i copy patch to tab and run it it says "This application requires superuser(root) to function"
Can anyone help me?
Get SuperOneClick v1.8beta under @ Android Apps and Games. It can root and/or market fix. Read my post towards the end for instructions on how to make it work.

I root my galaxy tab with Z4root and it works perfectly
I searched a little for this but couldn't quite find an answer. I have a Galaxy Tab SCH-1800 on Verizon Wireless. I was trying to us z4 1.3 to root it. I hit permanent root and it runs for awhile and then it exits Z4 Root. It never goes back to the program either. I have to go to the z4 icon and open it from there. When I tap the icon, I get a blank screen and then a force close. How do you recommend I root my Galaxy? I was hoping to use z4. That's what I used to root my Droid X. Thanks for your time.

DO you know if it's actually rooted? Try downloading a root-required app. Maybe it is already rooted.
Use the superoneclick app. You can download it here in the forum somewhere.
To know if it's rooted. Download the root check app from the market, and then run it.

I don't know if XDA has any policy about linking to other forums, but I used this guide to root my Verizon Tab. I have had no problems whatsoever since I did this. It shows you how to restore to a rooted stock firmware, and update to an modified kernel for the latest version of the stock rom.

I don't see how this would root anything. Just some mumbo-jumbo about stuff you can do on a non-rooted device without the same mumbo-jumbo.
Maybe you would look at the youtube video showing one click root button on pc programme.

I think He means this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbRRi7TOosg
EDIT: Ok, just tried it. NOT WORKS. It says that the root failed. Tried 3 times and I get the same thing.
Did you install usb drivers correctly maybe needs admin privileges on start up.
Root genius is another one on youtube

Wuzza? Is that vid for real?!
If not, talk about false advertising.
"maybe needs admin privileges on start up." - nope, it does not.
Root does not work with this soft, maybe it was for an older firmware, but TBH, it looks like a nice video montage, but nothing really happened (maybe no phone was connected either).
No bother ill just sell phone need root and couldn't be bothered waiting for one bypassing bootloader thx for checking

This is my first post, and I joined specifically to share this. It took me many hours of searching and trial and error to get my phone rooted, so I'm taking the risk of being called a shill to make this post. I hope it helps someone.
I was able to use Wondershare MobileGo to root my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 on Lollipop version OC1 (NOT OF1).
At first the only root option that worked for me was installing the Kingroot APK. This did give me root, but only through Kingroot, not SuperSU. Naturally I wanted to use SuperSU, so this is what I did:
1. Installed MobileGo.
2. Clicked on “One-Click root”
3. MobileGo said it has gained root access however, SuperSU still would not work.
4. I then uninstalled KingRoot and ran MobileGo root.
5. Presto, it gave me root and SuperSU now works!
6. Uninstalled MobileGo
7. Still have root
There were a couple of phone reboots mixed in there, but that's the general idea. Clearly this doesn't work for everyone, but it was the ticket for me. YMMV.
I have an Asus Memo 7 K013 and I'm trying to "game" with it by using an iPega 9023. From what I understand, even in the manual, I need to root the device so that I can map the on screen controls to the buttons on the iPega 9023.
How do I root?
Just a bit more information...I've opened the Developer Options and clicked the check box beside USB Debugging.
I've tried,
RootZenFone-1.4.6.4r.apk
Towelroot v1.0
iRoot v2.2.2
iRoot v1.0
vRoot v1.7.8
KingoRoot
Absolutely NO LUCK with any of these.
Reset my Asus Memo 7 and tried KingoRoot. Worked! Root Successful!

I was having the same issue as you. I'm on 5.0 and can't find a way to root. I tried everything on your list also. Were you successful with the Windows or apk version of Kingoroot?

The apk worked for me.
There seems to be at least 2 versions of RootZenFone-1.4.6r.apk
I tried the one here: http://www.asuszenfoneblog.com/2014/10/download-rootzenfone-1464r-apk.html and it did not root my tablet.
This one did. http://onhax.net/root-unroot-asus-zenfone/

Hi just wondering whether any Aussies have the optus sport app working on a rooted device.
The app opens but fails when trying to watch videos. I have it as hidden a
rooted app under mgdisk. Anyone have a workaround
Thanks
I am looking for a workaround myself.... hopefully someone out there has a fix. I tried removing root but having an unlocked bootloader seems to cause the issue also or when using any custom ROM.
I have the s7 and galaxy tab s, it's blocked on my s7 but not on my tablet.
Both are rooted with magisk.
I still can't find a workaround, had anyone else had any luck.
Thanks
Still no luck
I tried using the cloak app and editing the build.prop file to no avail. I think the app maybe checking the number of times Knox has been accessed? Could this be cloaked?
