I have rooted my lg thrill using ClockworkMod Recovery v5.8.4.3 a while back.I noticed the battery would drain fast.So I wiped the data on the phone thinking that would help I did not make a back up.When the phone booted back up i see the lg logo then it takes me straight into cwm. So I downloaded a rom to put on there. It said the rom installed. But when I reboot again I see the same thing lg logo then cwm.Is there any thing I can do now or is it like a concrete brick?
I also tried to install omap drivers and couldn't get them installed. Please help

Hi everyone,
I have a weird issue with my M7.
It fell down and now the glas is cracked, but everthing is still working fine. Now I wanted to replace the screen and I bought a new display+touchscreen.
The weird thing now happens: when I connect the new display the phoen won't boot (just using the flexcable for the display is enough ... touch doesn't matter). It gets stuck directly after the bootlogo.
I can access the bootloader, but not the recovery or the system. When I reconnect the old display everything is working fine.
At first I thought that the new display might be defective and I sent it back. Now I got a new one from another seller and I have the same issue again.
I tried it with newest twrp and cwm recovery + CM11 and the stock firmware via Guru Reset M7 2.24.161.1
Any ideas?
Edit:
Just recognized that the device seems to boot, but the screen is just black (background light on) ... well at least I was able to reboot the device via adb (stock 4.2.2)
So I've had my phone rooted for a while on 26A using Xdabbeb's VS980 2.20. Worked well, but I started having some issues. In trying to fix those issues, I backed everything up and used this guide to revert back to stock 11A (TOT method).
Reverting back to stock worked well. Verizon started pushing OTA's (which I haven't had for a very long time). I believe I got up to 29A. However, Verizon pushed one more OTA, phone rebooted, installed step 1/2, and then step 2/2.
This is where I'm stuck. After finishing step 2/2, the phone rebooted, showed the LG logo and stopped.
I can get in to stock recovery mode. The green android flashes on screen briefly, restarts, but it get's stuck on the LG logo when it restarts.
Download modes doesn't install drivers on PC to show as a COM port. LG Flash Tool can't find it when I try to flash anything on it.
Any ideas on what to try next? I'm completely lost on where to go from here. Any help would be extremely appreciated.
TL;DR: Stock LG G2 phone is stuck on LG logo after OTA update to 39A. Recovery isn't working. Download mode isn't working.

I'm exactly on the same boat. Were you able to fix this problem?

Unfortunately, no. My phone is currently on it's way to LG to see what they can do with it. I won't know any more until late next week .
Got the word back from the repair department. The LCD screen was bad or connector (pretty much knew that). Not sure if they got it to turn on, but they were going to charge $150 to repair/refurbish it (90 day warranty). I called to get more information but the person I talked to didn't seem to know any answers to my questions, so I gave up.
I opted to buy a new LG G2 from eBay for $195 (1 year warranty).
When I get the old phone back, I'll see if it boots.
Hello,
My mother's O2X suddenly stopped working. It shows the LG logo at the beginning then freezes before the splash screen finishes. The screen remains turned on but it remains completely black. I tried booting into recovery but that didn't work either. The last ROM it ran was one of TonyP's (I don't remember which one, but most probably a Kit Kat one) and there was nothing wrong with it until - you know - stopped booting. [emoji28]
I'm guessing it needs a new recovery + ROM, but I'd love to hear from the experienced before proceeding with anything that might brick it for good.

I've been flashing my phone a whole lot and haven't felt that p990 would ever be bricked.
Have you tried the AIO Toolkit? It's (4,1,1,2)
Entering SW Update or Black Screen connection is Vol down then connect USB cable.
(Sorry if you already know this, doesn't hurt to say though right?)
Perhaps try to reinstall the drivers?
I rooted my moto g a while ago and put a custom rom on it (titan prime or something) and it was all working well until the other day i turned it on and now it seems to be stuck in a bootloop i think (infinite loading screen). when trying to enter the recovery twrp thing it gets stuck at the loading screen for that as well
can anyone tell me if this problem is fixable or is my phone just broken
thanks
Did you format and wipe cache before i stalling new rom? Normally that is not then such kind of issues come.
