Hi Guys,
While I am int he middle of a call I will get an email, text message notice through the speaker on the phone making it hard to hear the person calling.
I know I can turn off notification but then I won't get any at all. How can I fix this so I won't be bothered with email notifications while on a call. Thanks.

The old TyTN did that too. It's a Windows Mobile thing, and it sucks.
Check out MortScript.
There is a script to change a ringtone each time a phonecal is received.
The same script can be modified to disable the notifications and enabled them afterwards.
I have this problem with my diamond.
When I receive an incoming call it starts ringing, but it rings only for 20 seconds, after that it rejects automatically tha call.
Why does it happen? Is there any configuration to change this setting?

Wow...it was an operator setting...i never modified this setting.
Thank you for the answers. I have disabled all call forwarding.
IRUS mate, brilliant advice, works like a charm!
Much appreciated...I would have never figured that out
I've also have this problem but can't change the length for Call Forwarding. All the other settings yes but there is an option to change the lenth to 30 secs from 20 secs and its rejected. I rang Orange who I'm with and they say its a software problem with the handset, can anyone help?
Hi,
I've been using the Sony Xperia T now for a while and something bothers me.
When I am in a call, my phone tends to put the caller on hold, switch to speakerphone, or just end the conversation alltogether. My idea is that the touchscreen doesn't lock when I am in a conversation and I press either of these buttons with my ear/head. Is anyone familiar with this issue and is it something I can fix myself? I've looked through the settings on my phone but couldn't find anything to help me here.
This issue doesn't happen every call, but I would estimate it does half the calls. Especially when I'm answering calls.
Thanks.
Never had any problems.

I just checked it. It kicks in at 2/2,5 cm's. So that's good then?

Hi there. Screen is not turning off automatically during phone calls. Is it normal on Droid Turbo? Does it have proximity sensor? I have tried stock dialer and SIP dialer cSIPSimple. I am still on the stock ROM, locked bootloader. Thanks

I have a similar problem and so does my wife on here Moto X Pure. Not sure why the proximity sensor allows the screen to sometimes come back on during phone calls.
I've accidentally put it on speaker phone with my cheek and blasted my ear drums!

Thanks for the reply. For more the screen is on all the time. So it seems that the proximity sensor is not working at all. Is there any way how to check if it is software or hardware problem?

is there even a setting to do so? never heard of anything like that? there is just an option to accept calls when holding it on your ear, or decline a call by laying the phone flat on the display
