Hi guys
I just want to ask your opinion regarding these issue. Is it safe to remove stock apps from system/app or is it more safe to just freeze them using Titanium Backup? If you guy have a list of bloatware to be remove in stock .207 firmware please share.

It's better to freeze them if you're not sure what they exactly do,
I froze these apps with Ti.Backup when I was on stock. Hope it helps
Still keep a nandroid backup just to be safe.

Well I have got a suggestion for you. There is an app called system app mover!!!!!!! It allows you to convert system app into normal app and vice versa. So you convert some non useful system app and use ur device if its functioning normally then uninstall it. This way you can keep track of every app you remove.

Hello Ace Users and Developers,
I have little query about Google Android Market/Google Play.
Recently i purchased the game called stick cricket from android market and i want to know if by any chance i have to format my device in future then is there anyway that i can back up my purchased game which i bought it from market. I know one can use andro zip or any file manager that can easily help you create an .apk file for any apps or games that you have installed. is this also work with purchased apps and games..?
Please Help me
Sorry for creating this thread if it has already been asked and answered before cuz i searched it and couldn't find it.
Thanks Everyone in advance..
Use titanium backup is the best for the backups, with titanium backup you can save also the data (settings, game save, ecc.).

And where is the problem? then do the rooting to your device with the my tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1766178
and however about the backup yes you can do the backup without the root but only of apk, instead for the backup of data you must have a rooted device.

Sony Account Manager.
It is safe to remove, as I no longer have it installed on my Z1, and my device has been operating now for a week without issue.
Without it, you will probably get FCs from Album, Privilege, PSM, etc. Just FYI.
After I rooted the phone I deleted some blotware. Now I am having problems with the phone freezing. Is there a way to recover the delete apps?
You can always restore your backup. Unless you didn't create a backup before you went and deleted everything. That's a noob thing not to do.
Your best bet is to follow the "return to stock" tutorial. It's in the sticky threads.
Or wait for the next update to roll out.

Hi!
I bought the Z1, and I do not regret it. Some bug screen, and other small stuff but good
I just talk to you because I am a beginner in android and I do not know what to do for my rooter device. So, I have already been able to untap the overlay of my operator. Now I am. 136 non-root and I realize that many things are accessible via root.
I would like, if you have time, kindness and patience, give me a little tutorial to be root in .136. While I've seen some stuff about that, but there was loss :/ IMEI and since jesuis beginner to android I'm afraid to do something stupid ...
So a little tutorial step by step, with a link to dwnld each time would be great!
I just ask for help ^ ^
Ps: sorry for my broken English.
Kisses! : D

Just make sure that you follow all of the steps. If anything goes wrong you can revive the phone by flashing an Ftf of the firmware.

There is software called Helium that does exactly what you are looking for:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.backup
I have not used it so make sure that it works for you before you begin the rooting process. Good luck

Thanks. Will try it out now and let you know.
Just need to backup important stuff so i can easily restore after rooting. I actually wanna unlock bl and install beanstalk . Twas the best rom i used on my xperia pro b4 it got stolen :crying:
Update:
I used Helium to backup my data and managed to restore everything back to rooted 4.3. It wouldn't restore my messaging and user dictionary data to beanstalk though (4.4) so went back to stock 4.3 with root. Thanks again for the help
Ps. I found this just now, it may help someone in future: www titaniumtrack com/kb/titanium-backup-kb/titanium-backup-howtos.html

If you don't know how to use it, then just look for videos on Youtube.
Be careful with what you uninstall tho, since you can also remove system apps that could mess up your Rom really good.
