Hi....i need help pleaseeee...
I have moto x 4.4.2 with bootloader unlocked e with root. My WiFi not turn on..... What should i do?? Before the problem i was in WPA supplicant conf file... I was adding WiFi NET. Then now my WiFi not turn on
.....plissss.... Help me....sorry my english
I had this problem too. One of the things which helped I think was to use a root explorer ( like ES file explorer) and search for a folder called wifi.. then delete the contents of that folder, reboot your phone and then it will generate the folder again. i think one of the files in there got corrupted maybe. You might want to make a copy of that folder for backup before deleting it.

If you've messed up the wpa_supplicant file is there a way to view a setting or a way to tell that you have the original file back and ready if you've attempted to update it to the adhoc fix that is out there?
I renamed the wpa_supplicant file to back it up, while pasting the new adhoc fix one in. It did not allow wifi to function on the auto-nootered version of NC i have, so i reverted back to orig file, but my process must be skewed a bit, b/c i replaced the adhoc fix with the old file, its name is correct, the permissions were reset, but still no wifi to be found.
Any ideas? I have written in the dev thread where the process is found but have found no answer.
Haha mistyped. I found it. The folder needs to be renamed and the new file must be outside of the folder. Resolved.
Try wpa_supplicant
I need the stock sprint WPA_supplicant.conf file from the system/bin folder. I need it from someone who has the sprint tab updated to EB28. My friend used a old hacked WPA file and can't get the wifi to work now and has no copy of the file.
So i did something stupid on my moto x. I made a TWRP backup a while ago and i wanted to delete it. So using ES file explorer i found this folder which looked like TWRP backup in root. so i deleted it but turns out it was my internal memory which was pointing to this location.
Now every time i open ES file explorer it says '/sdcard/ is not found' and it says 0.0B if i check SD card analyst in ES file explorer.
For reference i deleted '0' folder in 'root/data/media' and new '0' folder is already created but it still doesn't show sdcard in ES.
Please any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Edit: Never mind got it working after a restart.
Ive used my droid turbo for 18 month or so. I always enjoy the convenience of installing an app first and drag data into the obb folder under emulated/0/Android.
But yesterday, I can't find it anymore(all those app data is not lost). I wanted to create a new obb folder but the phone tell me that the folder already exists. When I connect the phone to my computers(both mac and windows), I still can't find the obb folder and as I drag in a blank obb folder that I've just created, my phone crashed and restart. I used shell to check permission and it turns out the folder is there and I have full permission to Read and Write. And I backed up my device and give it a wipe. But no luck.
So, I know that the obb folder is still there, but hidden. I think it may be the Es explorer since the problem happens after I used es explorer to clean app residue after deleting an app which could trigger the write protection?
So Im bit frustrated after working on the issue or this long. So Im asking you guys, have you ever run into issues like this? Is there a viable solution?
Im using default rom Android 5.0.2
Device unlocked and rooted
I want to switch off capacitiv buttons. I have read some methods and I applied them but I don't know why I could not save my modifications on the related files. (all under system folder )
I give root permission to es file Explorer I modified the files I have save them but after reboot they are all gone.
Now I did it with a kernel modifier app. But I want to turn it off permanently without any other program
Thanks for your answers
