- If you are on the TMS 3.0 Bloated ROM please flash this SecContact fix first:
TMS5-3.0_Contacts_fix_Stock.zip
1, Backup - Backup - Backup.
2. The only changes the Theme makes is to the System Folder
3. If you have another theme installed please flash back to your Stock Backup is suggested
4. I suggest only using SafeStrap but FlashFire will also work
5. First reboot will take a bit as your phone will have to rebuild its Cache
6. Your phone might freeze during Cache rebuilding, just restart by pressing Power+Home Key+Volume Down
7. If you use Nova after flashing go into Nova Settings >Look & feel>Icon Theme> and hit “System”
to refresh the Icons.
8. Blue Ice uses HEX number 009eff.

--- If you do not like the bootanimation and want to use the ones in TM Settings then just go to ROOT>system>media and delete bootanimation.zip from your phone then reboot
I will be creating a new Thread just for Framework, Contact and Pulldown vrthemes.zip because none of the ones for v1 will work for v2. I repeat DO NOT use any mods that were made for v1 with v2. I will remake them.

Here is a update for Blue Ice V2.
I fixed the Device Info buttons being backwards and I added A toggle for 3Minit Quicklaunch.
The TmSettings have aslo been re-arranged to were all the mods Are in "Notification Area" under Status Bar Visuals

............. I did it because I like the Dark Blue but it was way to Dark to read text outside. Just found a problem with Hangouts and posted the fix if you need it........

I guess i should move this to the blue ice theme thread, but i started it here so i will finish it here.
I really do not like to do a dirty flash because it gets rid of a lot of things that have to be redone, but at least it did not mess the phone up like it did when i tried the batman, probably because i did not dirty flash. WHY MUST THIS BE DONE???
Here are the problems and screenshots. BBStats no good. FF many screens no good. I did not try to flash the material light for this theme cause i do not know if i should. I did back it up. I flashed the first android pulldown and no pic, maybe because of the Quick Launch since i also had to redo that (apps still were there as I changed them). That lady did go away though, but now nothing. I really cant live with FF like that, I LOVE THAT APP. I did flash the rom and all the regular fixes with SS (i do not think i needed them because i did not redo the status bar right clock fix and it was ok. OH, i just noticed that my xposed is not working since there is no cpu temp in the status bar. Sorry to say, this was a waste of quite alot of time. NOT GOOD, but I will live. I backed it up with FF (could not change the name cause i could not even see it. OH well, let me know. Restoring my original now.
I REALLY DO LOVE THIS COLOR BLUE TEXT, BUT I THINK I AM GOING TO STAY WITH MY ORIGINAL HOLO BLUE UNTIL THIS STUFF GETS STRAIGHTENED OUT.

Flashing the materiallight framework fix did fix the ff issue for me that Sam was referring to.

First @Chainfire is on vacation and it is a beta and it was set to expire on 08/31 so to run it currently until he updates it you need to change the date manually to 08/30. this has been known for days.
as far as the question, the holo blue (original and update) did not have these problems. the material light fix was for part of FF. JP knows about this and i thought he was going to get with you, but i know it is a holiday weekend. he also knows about the BBStats fix because all 3 of his themes have it fixed. i contacted him earlier on hangouts and he still has not responded. i have done ALL of the themes already using SS and they flash fine. actually he does have a problem with one of the FF screens in his Green Hulk theme. Also i told him that when i flash the QuickLaunch it makes the image on the notification panel disappear on all of them including yours. Anything else, just let me know. i really love the ice blue and i do not mind waiting. Check it out and let me know. If not, i hope u have a nice holiday with your family.

I put it back in and ran the material light fix and FF is fine. But i did use SS for all the themes i tested today (and i do mean i tested them all...LOL) and all was fine.
FF does work if u uncheck the auto time and put it back to 08/30/2015. try it, you'll like it. The only thing you need to get from JP (which he knows cause i talked to him on hangouts today) is the fix for BBStats and also he has a special QuickLaunch which is needed because the one he gave me earlier before anyone makes the great notification panel pic go away. he has a QL for each of his themes. so whenever you get those 2 fixes, let me know. I will be remaining on BLUE ICE. GREAT JOB JIM...:good::good::good:
AGAIN, ALL THE FIXES SHOULD BE APPLIED TO ANYONE WHO HAS THE DEBLOATED VERSION. SO FLASH THE MATERIAL LIGHT ONE AND SET THE DATE BACK TO 08/30 AND YOU WILL SEE FF WORKS JUST FINE. BUT LIKE I SAID, I DID FLASH THE MAIN THEMES WITH SS. THESE FIXES CAN BE DONE IN FF AS I HAVE DONE THEM ALL BEFORE. TRUTHFULLY IF YOU HAVE DONE THEM BEFORE, THEY STAY THRU ANY THEME THAT IS INSTALLED. I AM SURE WHEN TM GETS BACK AND DOES A 3.1 ZIP FIX, WE WON'T HAVE TO DO ANY OF THOSE ANYMORE.

FAQ
1. Do I have to wipe?
NO. You shouldn't have to wipe.
2. I flashed this theme on top of another theme and now I'm getting force closes all over the place.
Reflash Cyanogen's ROM (WILL NOT DELETE YOUR DATA). After you load up your phone, copy the theme update.zip then shut down the phone and boot into recovery to flash the theme. Courtesy of djlucklu
3. It's taking forever to boot!
The first boot will take longer than normal because dexopt needs to run. If you are nervous, connect USB and run "adb logcat" to watch the progress.
4. I lost auto rotate.
Open terminal, su, then "rm /data/misc/akmd* /data/misc/rild*" and reboot.
5. How do I install clock widget??
You must download and install, Weather Widget Donate from the market.
You must download and install, OI File Manager from the market.
Now on your home screen tap and hold (where you want the clock widget) until the menu pops up. Tap on Widgets and scroll till you see Weather & Flip Clock tap on that. Enter your location or however you want those options. hit save.
Now go to your app drawer, find weather widgets and tap on that. scroll down till you see Clock Skin Prefernces. Tap on Clock Skin Downloader. Download the skin of your choice. Now Tap on Install clock skin from SD card. Find the skin you want, tap on it and hit OK. Thats it.
***If you downloaded the skin from here. Insert .zip file in /sdcard/prettyweather-googlecode-com/clock tap on Install clock skin from SD card. Find the skin you want, tap on it and hit OK. Thats it.
6. OMG How come I have 3 screens instead of 5 like Cyanogen rom??
Well if you skipped reading above then this is why your asking this question. The answer is: To use Advanced Launcher or set how many screen you want hit Menu>More>Extended>Home Screen and use the slider to your advantage.
7. Can I use some of your work in my own THEME?
Of course, I am all about "some" sharing! Don't just take everything and change a couple of icons and call it yours. Also give credit where credit is due.

only probs i have is my music widgeet dont work... and i wish it was in blue.. as well..

no wiping needed for themes. make sure that if you coming from another theme to flash the cyanogen rom before flashing theme.

idk if im making any more colors of this theme. only if im bored. other than that idk.

Special Note: I no longer have my Fascinate (or any other at the moment), so theming is postponed until I get everything caught up and get a new Fascinate. My apologies, just a series of unfortunate events. I'll still be around keeping up and can help with questions and other themers as needed.
NOTE: I will be busy creating a new theme now that I figured out how to edit xmls to change font colors (now to figure out which edits are needed for the effects I want) *huge thanks to tiger4life for pointing me in the right direction).
I had to go all the way back to stock to get stock apks to work with since I accidentally overwrote my original backups *now I have redundant backups so that can't happen, gotta love terabyte drives Thanks to all who have or will use this theme and have donated. I appreciate it very much.
I have been slowly modding my Fascinate I thought it time I share what I have so far. My theme was designed for a DeOdexed system, you can load one of the already DeOdexed roms available or you can manually do it yourself, if you haven't already. I manually DeOdexed my sysem using the method found here.

I themed LauncherPro Plus with Ninjamorph (in Market), it is not included in this theme as I load it in system/app vs the default data/app location (it's my only launcher) and not everyone likes nor wants LauncherPro.
This is verified working on my system, I make no such guarantee for yours. You flash at your own risk. I accept no responsibly if your phone fails to start, dies a horrible death, explodes or any variation thereof.
Before you flash, MAKE A BACKUP. Your phone may take a bit longer to load after flashing, this is normal.
Also if you want the puzzle lock or sliding glass lock screens, follow the directions from this post. It works!
UPDATE: Minor tweaks, namely the puzzle lock screen. Made the sliding puzzle piece semi-transparent.
Attempted to change the phone keypad sounds. If anyone knows what xml's need to be modified I would appreciate it as I have not been able to locate where the changes need to be made, other than changing out the ogg files in "system/media/audio/ui".
UPDATE [10/07/2010] - V4.3 uploaded, due to size uploaded to alternate server now. (Link below screenshots) Themed email and gmail menu's. Few minor tweaks to framework and vending apk's. Removed earlier versions.
UPDATE [10/07/2010]x2 - Uploaded Storms Black Reboot Theme v5.0 - this is the same as v4.3 except it also includes the power options mod with working circle battery! Again thanks tiger4life!

If you or any other can point me in the right direction that would be awesome, have spent days searching xda/google and combing through the xmls in the vending apk without success so far (obviously).

As far as I know you should be able to, however I cannot guarantee since I have not tested on any rom.

Thanks, I will look into the framework xml's and see if I can find the right one. Right now tracking down my FC issue when releasing a call.

I installed this theme and now cannot sync my gmail account. Any ideas?

Before I flashed this theme, i had the Remix Incognito theme posted under the theme section for the fascinate. I had that theme installed, and just flashed the Storm Blackish theme over the old one. Everything seemed to work great, except the "preferences" and "notifications" icon in the home screen menu didnt change and they are just grey. Also, the font from the old theme did not change to the font of the Storm Blackish theme. Any suggestions?

Thanks for trying my theme. The "preferences" and "notifications" are controlled by LauncherPro and not by the framework. I used ninjamorph (available in market to replace those I'll attach them so you can to The are named appropriately for easy exchanging.
The fonts used are the same as what the fascinate ships with, I didn't change them, so the remix must have.

I didn't actually, it's a side effect of using the AppWidgetPicker apk, and not all of the touchwiz widgets show up, only the ones you see in the widget menu.

Warning This is a stock framework for themers to update there themes. If you flash this it will turn your system theme back to stock. This was tested on SFR 1.2. I haven't tested on stock EC05 or any other rom
To Theme Devs: The statusbar backround pngs have to stay transparent or the animation wont show on the pulldown
Ok to make this work I had to edit two files statusbar tracking.xml in twframework-res.apk and add in thefunkbots pulldown_background_anim.xml into the framwork-res.apk. Then I had to add the android0000-android0039 pngs into the drawlble-hdpi folder. The current mod holds 40 pngs for the animations and to change it you would have to edit the pulldown_backround_anim.xml to call for more or less animations. This will be up to the themers to decide if they want to add or delete them. Ive been running this for a few days and haven't come across any problems but green muggy has been testing and reports a couple random reboots during pandora streaming and reading emails. Ive tested both and didnt come up with any problems.
This mod includes the 6 lockscreens, reboot, 1% batt mod and black menus with the white font, It also has the android boot ani as the pulldown ani.
I'm not gonna make a theme so if you want this in a theme get with you favorite theme dev and have them update there theme

Here is a Sprint network fix template for themers. Its the same as above only that it has the sprint network fix. Theme devs that do not want the pulldown ani all you have to do is change the statusbarbackround.png in twframework to whatever you like as long as it is not transparent. This is just a stock theme templete for themers. It also has the no ampm fix as well.

The honeycomb one is in the links for the fascinates mod. I have it themed on mine but I cant post it without getting maddoggins permission cause its his theme im using. I just wanted to get a stock mod out for themers to base off of.

Not really you have to rebuild the theme off this framework. Ive tried just adding the files in another theme and it just causes system wide fc's. All the edits had to be compiled together. To get the themes to work all you have to do is transfer the themes pngs into this framework. As long as they have not made any framework edits.

Its just like when maddoggin released his 6 lock screen mod. All the themes had to be updated to use his framework. So as long as we just transfer the pngs over and nothing else. (unless you decompile, edit and recompile) everything should work.The ffiles that I edited are the only diffrence between maddoggins mod and this one. So in as long as your using madds 6 lock framework for your base you should be able to transfer over the pngs. Ive done it with his simply blue and evrything is good for me.

Simply install the theme from Google Play, then navigate to SYSTEM SETTINGS --> THEMES, and apply the PCB colour theme you just installed. If you have any issues with applying the theme, or some elements are not styled, simply perform a full REBOOT.
Please note that while a huge amount of elements are themed, you may come across certain ones that were not. This is most likely due to the fact that the Theme Engine cannot quite style them yet, but I will continue to do my best to update it once available.

He didn't end up "borrowing" them, as I had given him permission previously. The PCB theme of mine above is 'pure' and of my original work. MrDSL is a great guy though, as I had kindly asked him to remove my PCB elements from his market versions of Mixer, to which he peacefully obliged. Mixer can still be found with my PCB images, however the 'official' version is the one that I'll be maintaining on Google Play. It has been about 1.5 years in the making, and I have never been able to ask for a cup of coffee for it before (due to it formally being a flashable .zip).
Anyways, glad you like, and please do remember that I'll be working hard to maintain and improve this theme. Couple of things planned are more system app styling (MMS/E-Mail/Contacts/etc.), as well as develop new colour schemes once the main design is near-complete.

Thanks for the kind words clockworkninja!! I'm not sure if it would work on CM7, as that is Gingerbread and has many different resources when compared to ICS...I won't rule it out, but chances are slim

Hey scar - as you may remember I'm a big fan of your theme. Currently running AOKPCB Nightlies on my Sensation and using the CM9/Theme Chooser version on my A500.
Everything is great, one tiny thing bothering me though...it's the status bar on my A500. When I first bought the theme all was ok but after update the circular circuit icons under Back - Home - Recent Apps are off center. At least I'm pretty sure they weren't like that at first...Upon opening something "fullscreen" like pictures or movies they are correctly placed but after returning home they are offset vertically again.

After last update my status bar Back Home and Recent backgrounds are still a bit offset and the notifications/toggles area has some parts bright blue.

Hi HunnyBearLewis,
I can confirm what you're seeing with the bright blue parts of the notification area. This is a result of me getting back to the Tablet UI, and I ran out of time yesterday to completely address it I will be doing my best to get that looking proper, but it does seem that the CM Theme Engine has some issues with tablet layouts (they weren't around in CM7).
Otherwise, with the notification button spacing, I believe this may be an issue that stems from AOKP, as I have not changed any metrics for spacing, or even image dimensions (they're the same as stock, just with my design). I'll still keep it in mind though and try to address it. FWIW, on my TF101, the navbar buttons appear a lot closer to each other, but then again, I have 5.
Anyways, I know I haven't said much helpful stuff, but I'll always be working to improve/fix these issues! Thanks for your patience and reporting.

Hi all,
I just wanted to post up a quick note to let you know that I always check this thread and I always take everyone's recommendations seriously (and thank you for them!). There are a few issues with v1.0.4 (the current version) of the theme, mainly with the Tablet UI notification popup area (blue glitch), and I hope to fix those for the next update.
Life is a struggle for me (as I'm sure it is with many), but as I am a freelancer and work for myself (mainly doing web design/hosting), it is tough for me to dedicate a huge amount of hours to the theme. That said though, it is truly a passion of mine as I also use the PCB theme myself. I will always continue to work on improving it, but please please be patient.
Understandably, website design + hosting is a bit more lucrative than my theme in the Market, BUT I sincerely want to thank everyone who has purchased it, as it really means a lot to me. Please help me by rating the theme and also tweeting/spreading the word about it. I've still got some nice plans for the future, and I will surely work them into the theme over time.
Thanks again for reading this, I just wanted to give everyone a heads-up as to why I haven't been as active as I was over the past few weeks (although I hope that will change!).

Great theme. Found a bug with the usb debugging icon in the notification pull down.
Found a couple more bugs with the battery style. The battery bar in the status bar style doesn't work. It's blank instead of showing it. And here's a couple of glitches with different battery styles. And wouldn't it look better if the battery was blue to match the theme, unless perhaps it's charging or close to dying? That's my opinion at least. This is an hdpi device, by the way. Also, not too fond of it changing the wallpaper. Sorry for the long list

Thanks PonsAsinorem, I know the battery icons are a bit messed up, so I will fix that for the next version (revert the other 'non-circle mod' icons back to stock), although I'm not too sure I'll make them blue just yet (other priorities and fixes to be done first).
In terms of that USB Debugging Icon background within the pulldown list, I have seen it before with other apps too, but I still cannot find where that image is located. It has eluded me for the longest time, but I'll go on another hunt soon
Otherwise, I hope these can be considered minor issues, but I'll definitely try to fix them quickly too.

Please leave your thoughts as to what you might prefer, because my goal is to always take feedback that would help make PCB better.
On a side note, the Tablet UI issues have been fixed, and a few other change log items have been added to v1.0.5 of PCB Blue. Here's the Google Play change log:
• Fixed incorrect battery icons being shown on anything other than "CircleMOD" option
• Improved keyboard background scaling on different DPIs / tablets
• Colourized soft keys/navbar icons to match theme colour

The issue you are trying to fix is an AOKP bug, not a theme issue. Theme Manager was created by CM9 team for CM9 ROMs, if themes are not working correct then AOKP must find a way to fix it rather than just copy the CM9 code.
With your solution in 1.0.5 every CM9 user is being left with unthemed battery icon. I've used Blue Infinitum theme with AOKP and "Icon only" gives you themed icon, "text only" gives you themed text and "Circle Mod" gives you stock battery icon and of course CM9 works fine.

If it's borked due to improper aokp implementation, I'd switch it back. Don't want to short change other users because of it. And I don't use those modes anyways, I was just testing and looking for bugs. Apparently the status bar battery bar does work, you just have to go back in and reset your option and reset the color, even though it's selected. Perhaps we need to get with aokp about their implementation of the theme engine to figure out how best to solve this, for completeness sake. Thanks for working on this.

Try switching to the System Theme first, then Reboot immediately. Once you're back into Android, try applying PCB Blue again. The theme doesn't have any 'device-specific' resources, so it should work provided your ROM with Theme Chooser support is built properly.

AOKP Users
Settings > Rom Control : No icons are themed. I originally based the update off CM10. I've been able to flash it and will be updating for AOKP-specific items soon (including the Rom Control icon in the home settings screen), just need some time to get everything situated for it
To make everything red, you have to manually set these options (until I find out if I can set them via the theme...)
Settings > Rom Control > Navigation Bar > "Navigation bar glow color" : change hex to #FFFF0000 > Set > [click the color in the right box just above where you entered the hex]
You don't need to change "Navigation bar color", I already did that, even though it looks white in settings
CircleMod images will be coming in the next update.
Battery Bar enabled? Same as the first bullet, change hex code to #FFFF0000
Toggles: Icon toggle style will be updated. Text toggle style : change "Toggle Text Color" and "Enabled Indicator Color" to hex : #FFFF0000

Issues / Soon to be Fixed
(AOKP) : Settings > Rom Control > Navigation Bar > Battery icon style > (Set to) Text Only : If you use this, it will be blue, because it changes depending on the charge status and level. I've added special instructions to the OP for AOKP users, due to their customization settings. I'm looking to see if I can edit certain areas without the user having to go thru and set them up every time you flash a new theme, but in the mean time that's all I have.
I've also listed a few things that are not completely themed in AOKP, but an update will be coming soon addressing those missing pieces (mostly the Rom Control icon in settings, as well as all of the icons within the Rom Control area), and the stock Launcher (CM10 uses it's own "Trebuchet" launcher, I doubt it'll be too different though).
If you see any where else that isn't themed (that should be at this moment), please let me know! Screen shots are a huge plus!

Just flashed codename android and the things I've noticed are mostly in the email and gmail apps. Don't want to put a screenshot now due to all my private info on it.
Also, just a small item, the volume slider
Just spotted another one, in the bottom left corner, the down arrow to exit the keyboard

I'll give Codename a try, but I may not be able to if they use a different color style for that. I'll check it out Gmail and Email are not themed, so there will definitely be blue in there. The only reason theres red (or your screen shots, green) is because of they use android framework images when selecting, which are themed. That's why theres some overlap. And I'll get the Keyboard hide icon checked out too, not sure why their Rom is missing that but AOKP/CM10 work as they should (could just be a naming convention).

Lol yea I just updated and posted in Green a few minutes ago. It only had one post so honestly I didn't know if anyone even installed it lol... It's all good though, I made a note of it in the OP (both)... maybe for this thread just taking out the green screens if you could, I'd appreciate it, to keep the confusion to a minimum
* In case I hadn't said it though, I do appreciate the screens and the info that I'm missing some aspects... There isn't enough time in the world for me to set up and test it on every Rom available lol. Thanks for posting all of it!

Thanks krazie1!! Glad to hear you like it! And yes, Grey is coming next (after I polish up Red and Green with these AOKP updates)... And yellow & purple are on the list too, will be getting to them during/after Grey.

Awesome I was thinking about asking for purple but I just went with yellow lol. Im running aokp with the red version and it looks perfect so far. These themes need more attention. :thumbup:

Tell EVERYONE!! lol jk. I've had purple and yellow on the list for a while but they kept getting away from me. Now that I've got the whole Theme Chooser process down, I just need to get the images nailed down and I'll be able to do those colors in full. I'll let you know when that happens / gets closer...

What's up ghoticov! I haven't tried, but I don't see why it shouldn't. Since you don't have to flash it, but apply it in Theme Chooser, it should work with any Rom that supports the Theme Chooser. If EOS does, then you should be good to go
Let me know if you see anything missing.

Just installed it and it worked like a charm! So glad to have your Red theme on EOS 3.0!
