I know this has been answered before but the post is rather old so id like some updates. Does the phone MOTO X XT1060 Work on Metros services? Does anybody currently have Metro for their Moto X? and do all the features work correctly? Voicemail, Text messaging, 3g/4g Data, Picture messaging?

Does anybody that already has the phone.. which languages the moto voice supports?
I'm considering the Purchase of a Moto X 2014 (upgrading from a Nexus 4). On my Nexus 4, I am running a Data Only Sim (no Voice Plan). I do all my texting through Google Voice/ Hangouts, and voice calling through Google Voice and sometimes Skype Out (my voice usage is very low and non-critical).
A big part of my choice for the Moto X is the Value Added Moto Software/Moto Suite, and it's integration of these advanced features with the Google Hint Headset. However I am concerned that I might lose some/much of this Moto functionality with my use of Google Voice/Hangouts/Skype.
If I use the Moto X with a data only plan/SIM, will the Moto Apps (Moto Voice, Moto Assist, etc.) play well with Google Voice/Hangouts/Skype? Is there any functionality that I will lose/have problems with?
I don't think that you are actually going to get all the functions as most of call related commands are design to use the phone dialer.
For example with a regular plan you can say: OK Google now (or whatever phrse you decide to use) call Mom, and the app is going to open the dialer and search for mom, wait for a confirmation and then dial the number.
But you are not going to be able to say ok google now call mom trough skype, few apps work with moto voice in that way (whatsapp for example and only with contacts no with groups).
Skype is a lot less important to me than Google Voice, but if what you say is accurate (little/no integration with Hangouts/Google Voice and Moto Voice/Assist), than that will take away a big part of my desire for this phone.
Sorry that I can not provide any answers to your questions, but have you looked into getting the T-Mobile $30 prepay plan? 5gb of LTE, unlimited texting, and 100 voice minutes. I used to have a data only plan, but switched to this $30 plan. I have had fewer issues with this $30 plan than I did with data only. It is not for everyone, but something to consider to take advantage of all the cool moto features.
When I open a hangouts convo from the active notification, the conversation sometimes scrolls all the way to the top and I need to manually scroll down. Has anyone else had this issue?
Yeah I have it too on the T-Mobile pure edition on lollipop ...I think its just a bug with the recent update so I guess we just have to wait for google to push a fix out
Sigh... it is getting quite annoying. Especially with the longer conversations.
I am seeing this as well running the retail/tmobile 5.0 lollipop, seems to have been a bug added in the last update to Hangouts, or possibly the previous update.
I have this on my nexus 4, 7 and moto x and have since 2.3 of hangouts. Its not a moto x bug.

My moto x has trouble recognizing contacts if there is a country code in the number stored in the contact. Very annoying.
Can anyone please help me remove it so I can use stock Android apps. I installed the stock apps, but the moto still handles caller ID for some reason.

Moto X4 XT1900-1 did not come with any extra bloatware apps which I am grateful of from factory. But it also does not have a visual voicemail. I have sprint and just started to use this phone. Sprint visual voicemail app is not support I believe outside of sprint devices. I try getting it from play store, but it will not show up for this phone.
Any one got visual voicemail working? I dont want to forward to Google Voice number and then get voicemail at that number. I couldnt find a way for GV to receive voicemail from my actual sprint number without forwarding calls.
