screen stays one while charging

anyone else having this issue and/or know of a fix?
I know that's a setting.. at least in the cm10 roms
Look in settings then developer settings and have a look if you turned it on by accident

its not the "keep screen on while charging" option you guys are thinking of. for some reason the screen just stays on while charging. the asus charger it came with does not cause the problem though.
when i first plugged mine in to a charger that wasnt the one shipped with it, it'd keep thinking i was plugging/unplugging it and so the screen would always be on.
Does it alternate between Charging and battery level on the lock screen?
Screen is on when charging, but once it's plugged in and charging, can you turn the screen off by pressing power button while it's charging?
That's how my NC works.

Screen turns on when plugged in, how to stop it?

I am on ViperOne 3.5 Is there a way to make the phone NOT turn the screen on when plugged in? I have a mophie juice pack and sometimes it can be a bit wonky and unplug itself. It just annoying to see the screen turn on and me think I have some type of notification.
there should be an option in developer options to Stay awake while charging. Uncheck it.

Phone awake while charging! any help?

i waited till Official lollipop update to root my phone.
since rooting, my phone stays awake all the time when it is put in charge.
it takes more than 6hrs to charge fully from around 0 percent.
attaching a screenshot too.
why is this happening? any help?
Phone never deepsleeps while charging. You can try:
1- Try a different charger/cable. You should fully charge phone within 2 and a half hours with a 850 mAh charger.
2- Charge it on aeroplane mode. With all sensors shutted down, charge speed will be increased.
3- Install a new kernel with Fast Charge to use with cheap chargers or to charge it with an USB port.
Did yout try to search for wakelocks?

yes, no wakelock is being shown
This is a setting in "Developer Options" - "stay awake". If you don't see developer options in your settings, go to "about phone" and tap several times on the "build number" entry.
You need to turn off Stay Awake check box in developers option.
Were you able to fix this? I have the same issue with my 1st gen Moto G after Lollipop

If I'm not mistaken, that option only works with wired charging, not wireless.

Yes, you are correct about this. With usb Cable (with wired) this "stay awake" options is work. After few second screen brignes get darker little bir but seen everythigns. But for wifi fast charger is doesn't work. I thought that phone has some kind settings.
