[Q] CAn i update my htc salsa from htc software update from settings(after rooting

hi i have rooted my htc salsa by unlocking bootloader then installin cwm n then rooting...can i update my salsa from setiings>software update???there wont be any issues??my salsa is s-on...

Hi,
If you need custom rom of htc desire 501. I am thinking to start development of it but before it i need stock recovery file of htc desire 501. if any one of you can pull out stock recovery of your phone then please provide me so i can make custom recovery and start development of custom rom of htc desire 501.

need stock rom backup for desire 501.. can any1 help me?

My phone is soft bricked.. stucked on boot logo.. though ,Somehow I got to instal cwm recovery 6.0.3.2 and I can see the fastboot menu .. so, can anyone help me out..? as I don't have much knowledge on flashing ROMs.. yet, I tried to flash a Rom by cwm.. but it showed error that this rom is for bravo devices but this is a CSDNUG device...

You must have ADB-Fastboot installed. Connect phone to PC in fastboot mode, enter the command "fastboot oem readcid". Make a note of your original CID.
If your CID is 038 or 044 download this, is for HTC Desire 501 dual sim Asia

I don't own a htc 501, only desire 500
Just follow this tutorial it works for many htc devices
