Just thought i would share some pics of them since my Korean model arrived today. They seem to be completely identical, save for packaging and the label.
Same part number on the pad, EP-PN920 but the USA box adds TBEGUS at the end. Both made in Vietnam. Korean model has the manufacturer date.
The only real difference is that the Korean model doesn't include an extra wall charger (not that i could have used it here anyway) and costs about half what Samsung charges for it in America.

Hello, how are you folks doing.
I was hoping to purchase a charger that would work in the US, as I ordered my note from clove.co.uk and it shipped with a UK charger (no surprise there).
Perferably, this would be the fast (AC) charger.
I was considering getting a Japanese model, as the plugs and voltage are similar, until I decided that the differences were just enough that it would be a dumb idea (charger would be over-volted and current would flow at a different frequency).
I've seen some non-OEM solutions, but was wondering if there was an OEM one, or if you guys had some experience with aftermarket chargers (as they do technically void the warranty- I selected Clove because they promised they would take care of the warranty if need be, but don't want to add other variables to the mix).
Thanks in advance.
Just get an iphone or ipod touch charger if you don't already have one. They are related 5V and 1A, and just like your stock charger. It is much smaller in size, and only $5 or less on Ebay.
The official genuine Samsung Adapter in India is compatible with all the voltages worldwide. All you need is the Pin conversion plug which costs one or two dollars. After that, you're ready to go. The original genuine Samsung Adapter costs somewhere in the range of 4-5 dollars. Its a genuine official samsung adapter, what more do you want. cheers
See, I've been using a generic 5V charger for the US, but it outputs at 500mA, not 1A. The phone would charge twice as fast with a 1A charger, lol
Awesome, you just made me realize there was a difference between the two chargers I am using. One says .7A and the other says 850ma. So the 850ma should charge faster correct?
Hi, basically after a large number of issues HP UK have arranged for a new touchpad to be shipped to me from the USA. They've said the charger it comes with will be the US one (obviously). Basically the barrel is universal, it's just the plastic adapters, does anyone know if the US charger/touchpad includes the UK converter.
I'm going to presume no, because the UK one only includes EU, just I'd have an extra charger if it did.
Thanks.
No. Charger for US TouchPad only includes US plug.
Ok thanks, I'll get a travel adapter or something.
It the saying its too good to be true...it is...I bought one of theses Chargers for $20.59. it works and charges but then when it came time to the fan...I opened it and there was no fan inside...I went back to look at the box and the serial number was different on the Box and the unit..
I emailed the Seller and told her what Happened...I Immediately received a Refund and told to Keep the Charger...

Half price chargers being sold from China. Go figure. Maybe it's because I grew up jaded in NYC, but if I see something like this, it SCREAMS counterfeit.
Thanks for the head up
I have no idea why someone would risk spending $30 on this product.
Amazon sells the Samsung Fast Wireless Charger for $49.99 which includes the fast charge power adapter (the Ebay version does not).
Of course its fake lol, mostly anything off ebay that comes from China is a knockoff.
The Q? - does it charge faster than normal wireless charger?
I've had an AT&T LG G4 (H810) since introduction last year.
I've got a number of Qi charging "pucks" and back covers modified with Qi stickers,
and all have been working well - up until now.
A few weeks ago my phone developed the dreaded boot-loop issue - 3 weeks outside of the 1-year warranty.
I chose to have the phone replaced using the AT&T insurance I've been paying for (w/ a $99 deductible).
I received the NEW replacement last week and it has a June 2016 build date (SN:606....)
The replacement phone no longer will charge with ANY of my battery covers and/or charging pucks.
I bought a Duracell Powermat charger to see if that would work (with the Qi stickes/covers) - but NO!!
Assuming this new phone is NOT defective - it would seem that the design of AT&T variant of the G4 has been modified to reject the Qi charging.
The only "official" PMA cover available seems to be from AT&T:
A PURPLE Quickcircle case. For $60 (ouch)
I've been unable to find any PMA stickers (or rear covers) on Amazon, Ebay, Aliexpress.... anywhere !
Does anyone have any experience with Qi charging on a RECENTLY BUILT AT&T G4 ???
OR... anyone know of a source for PMA stickers or covers for the G4???
Thanks for the help!
I have a similar situation. I had an early G4 (S/N: 508 and I used a Qi circle cover with various Qi chargers and it worked great. Last week, my phone developed the boot loop issue (luckily within warranty). AT&T shipped me a refurb unit (S/N: 505K and Qi does not work on my chargers, but in the store they had a dual Qi/PMA Belkin charger and it worked.) I told them wireless charging didn't work (I did the Belkin test after this) and they send me a 2nd refurb unit with the same behavior. (S/N: 505K as well). Qi does work on that one either.
I did do a bit of a teardown on both my old (previous working) and 2nd refurb and they both still have the
Blue chip - IDT P9025A Qi Wireless Power Receiver IC identified on the ifixit tear down. https: // d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.net/igi/YdWD2sSRT6Xmbif6
So, I am seriously bummed.

Ditto here!
I have a third-party Circle Case bought for my (boot-looping and now returned G4 H815 -- UK unlocked model straight from LG). When I got the AT&T H810 replacement and tried the Circle Case with it, Qi wireless charging did work with my existing puck, but no sooner did the pending AT&T firmware update get installed, out the window when Qi wireless charging. Since neither the case, puck, battery or phone geometry change, I have to assume they managed to disable Qi in software. I keep trying my phone on every Qi pad I spy on somebody's desk at work or elsewhere, but I haven't found one that magically breaks the spell. Oh, well.
Hi, I am looking for a spare charger to take on holiday.
Ideally I don't want to buy from amazon marketplace or ebay as I am worried about buying fake items.
Does anyone know where I can buy the official UK charger from?
Cheers
Stores currently don't stock the official charger, and after a quick search on Amazon I can only find official chargers for the last generation of Huawei phones.
I'd recommend (if possible) contacting Huawei and ask for a replacement from them.
Good luck with asking Huawei. I spent a week discussing this exact problem with Huawei Australia Support - basically their (pat) response is that they do not sell them as an spare part but welcomed feedback. Well I gave them some of that.
Being able to buy a replacement charger because we lost it or some other mishap is a completely normal consumer expectation. What other manufacturer refuses to sell their AC adaptors as a spare part?
Before Fast/Quick/Supercharge you could use any AC adaptor if it had enough current, but the Supercharger + Cable are the only things that will enable Supercharging on these things, so lose it and you're stuck with normal charging speeds.
Pretty bad form on Huawei's part. We bought the P20 Pro for the Mrs and she does love the phone. I'm very impressed too and before this AC Adaptor debacle I was going to plonk down for one later in the year as a BD present. Now I am having second thoughts after they pulled the unlock code site and won't sell AC adaptors.
I also refuse to buy ones advertised on-line - there seem to be plenty of "original" chargers but several bad experiences buying "genuine Samsung" batteries and chargers for our S4s & S5s taught me to buy only real ones from the local Samsung service centre.
A few years back I had an interesting conversation with a fireman. When they examine the premises to report on how the fire started a large proportion of domestic fires are started by faulty/fake phone chargers.
We should all get up Huawei for not supplying aftermarket demand with the correct charger. If our house burn down maybe they'll pay for the rebuild when the insurance refuses to pay because we were forced to use a non-genuine charger?
And reinstate the unlock code site ...
