[Q] SIM card - GONE???

Did a one touch root, worked great. Did a SuperRooterExtreme to get rid of the AT&T crap mainly, applied the LAG fix and subsequently lost my market access to the applications I needed.
Farted around trying to recover from that, finally gave up and started downloading the one touch recovery to stock when I noticed that my phone was in flight mode.
Basically it isn't seeing my SIM card at all. I've tried rebooting with it out as well as the External SD card, yanking the battery, the SIM card, reinserting the SIM card after powering up, etc. nothing.
Hoping that the flash to stock fixes it, but any thoughts in the mean time? On SLOOOOW download for the next hour...
IS it put in correctly?
It's possible to put the SIM card in backwards. Check that it isn't.
Im having the EXACT same problem. Any luck yet?
I got it working. I messed with MarketAccess and rebooted and got it to work.
EDIT: Had the same problem again. Flashing to H3 did the trick.

[Q] CM7 Sim card problem.

Hello. Yesterday happened some strange thing. I was playing Trial Bike on my Mini and after I closed it I noticed that my phone had an sim card icon with (!) mark at the notification bar. So it didn`t detect my sim card. Tried rebooting but didn`t help.
So, then I tried to flash to stock 2.3.6 ROM and the SIM was detected. Then I updated back to CM7. Everything worked fine till now. Again my phone does not detect my sim card.
Maybe some one knows a solution how can I fix this?
Thanks.
[EDIT] Found a solution. It was because I enabled "Disable lockscreen" @ CM Settings.
Thanks to this post.

[Q] SD card unexpectedly removed after I switch ON the screen

So I installed redy2006's CM7 kang & nova 11c kernel. For last 2-3 days, whenever I switch ON my screen after timeout, my phone takes a bit longer time to switch on the screen than usual & also I always get "SD card unexpectedly removed" & I cant access my SD card. I have to then reboot the phone & the same thing happens again & gain.
Can anybody please tell me what can be the problem here?
Do you have any app related with tools/utilities?

I only have ROM manager installed. OK, for last few hours, my device is running fine now. No issues with SD card also. Really dont know what was the problem.
Anyways, thanks redy2006 for the updated kang. I will flash it today only.
I was getting the same issue, but with ALL CM builds..
I get this on the latest #26 nightly (with nova v11c), and also on earlier builds. For some reason, I can't enable logging on this kernel, so any chance someone can provide a log with the problem reproduced so we could take a peek at what might be happening?
I've just reinstalled #26 but without the nova kernel, and I've stopped receiving these notifications. Can anyone confirm that they are receiving them *without* the nova kernel?
same here. Found that is kernel-related. Never happened with CM kernel

[Q] Sim Card Inserted issue with Viperone 6.1.0

Every time I reboot my M7 HTC One with Viperone 6.1.0 it shows a data connections for just a moment, then it drops out and a "Sim Card Inserted" notification pops up where you have to choose your carrier. I've tried full wipe and reinstall 3 times now, as well as removing the sim and rebooting and reinseting several times. I'm upgrading from Viperone 5.8 with the same sim card that has worked fine for a few months now. I'm also using DarkOne theme but I don't think it has anything to do with the issue. The issue is present whether or not I restore my account and apps. Does anyone out there have a suggestions for a fix?
sim card
I had an error stating that my SIM card was a non-verizon SIM card from a diffent phone, then it suddenly started working just fine... I have only been running viper one for a day, and I absolutely love it.
The same issue is present with Viperone 6.2 and 6.2.1. I would love a suggestion for a fix. The next update I'll do another full wipe and install and update if the issue is still present.

SD Card keeps corrupting (SM-T810)

Hello -
I'm running Android 6.0.1 on a 10" Tab S2 (SM-T810), rooted Samsung ROM (Build MMB29K.T810XXU2CPD9).
I have this recurring issue where my SD card keeps getting corrupted. I was initially using a SanDisk 128GB Ultra card, worked fine for a long time, but kept getting corrupted in the tablet. After reformatting it would work again for a while, and then would corrupt again. Figured it's maybe a faulty SD card. So I bought a Samsung 128GB Evo card. Have the same problem now. It corrupts from time to time.
I use this tablet very infrequently and usually turn it off when I'm done using it. Most of the time when I turn it back on again the card is corrupted. So I thought I'll stop powering it down and just put it in Airplane mode when I'm done, but leave it on standby otherwise. Nope, still corrupted the SD card again.
I'm suspecting it's maybe a problem with the tablet itself, and not the SD cards I've been using. Any suggestions for how I can fix this? Is it worth trying to install a different ROM? Or is there any other suggestion you guys might have?
Thanks.

I have similar issue with tab s3, and first you could try to disscard any rom issue:
Reflash the 6.0.1 stock rom with odin and root again.
Its an opportunity to upgrade to Nougat, in this case reflash stock rom 6.0.1 with odin (do not root) and upgrade to nougat, afther that you can root.
Come back and report the results to help others with similar problems.
Yeah, flashed a stock Nougat rom I pulled off of SamMobile for the Tab S2. Will see how this holds up over the next few days. So far on a reboot it hasn't corrupted the card.
Thanks.
