Hi to everyone,
it's possible to upgrade to Lollipop stock from MyROM 3.3 rom?
And how?
Thank you in advance
Flash emui 3.0 stock recovery, then B621 -> B623-> B830.

Thanks for reply
Need I to install them by update.apk or anything else?
Yes, put the update.app into the 'dload' folder on your ad card and start the update.

Thank you.
I will try,I just hope to don't brick my phone :/
Your welcome. No worries, if something wents wrong you can always flash TWRP and MyRom to get back. The risk of hardbricking is really really low.

It worked,thank you.
Another question, that I think doesn't really match with the argoment of the topic,so if it's not,let me know so I can create a new topic.
As the B830 was full of bug and there was a lot of battery drain,I did a rollback to B126 and installed a custom rom. Today I tried to update to B133 from stock recovery (emui 2.3) but, after 15-20 minutes,it's still stuck in it and looks like the update didn't even started.
In fact, I have got the "DONOT press powerkey or remove battery" on the top,and down I have only got the "This phone is secureboot phone." without any line about the progress of the update.
It's that normal or there's something wrong?
Then the update got stuck. Press power for some seconds (there is no other way than this or letting the bettery go down). Maybe if you're lucky the system works after, if not retry.
When that all doesn't help flash TWRP, MyRom 1.2 then stock recovery and B133.
The Updates often pretty bugged often..

Phone doesn't boot into system,it goes always to recovery and tries to make always the update.
Need I to boot into bootloader,in order to flash TWRP recovery?
Yes boot into bootloader and flash the recovery through adb: "Fastboot flash recovery recovery.img"

Try re download the zip (or try an other rom)maybe you just got an false download. i also had some trouble with my m7 back in the day.
But in your case now you are stuck with no os or bootloop, i give you as advice to follow an soft unbrick method it worked for me, or if you have an usb otg cable and usb or and usb otg thumbstick, put the rom on that usb and connect it to your phone and then try to flash it (if your using twrp you have an option to choose from wich storage you want to use)
Also a piece of advice, when flashing roms, kernels etc please have your phone charged above 50% (just in case).

Can you please post the output of
Code:
fastboot getvar all
please remove your imei and serial number.
Depending on which variant of the M7 you have you probably just need a different version of recovery to install a CM rom. I think they prefer TWRP 2.7.x.x. Post the getvar and we can see what you have. then I can give you a better informed instruction. :good:
P.s also check the md5 of the rom zip you downloaded. Use this tool www.winmd5.com the correct md5 should be listed with the link you downloaded the rom from
failed to mount /dev/block/blah blah blah = needs "block:by-name" support which twrp 2.6.3.3 doesn't have
everything explained here
So update your recovery
and do what danny said above so he can confirm you have the right rom/recovery for your device.

Your getvar looks fine this rom should work fine with your device. Download this version of TWRP https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23501681358561860 (2.7.1.2). dropthe file in your fastboot folder and flash it with fastboot.
Code:
fastboot flash recovery "name-of-recovery".img
fastboot erase cache
fastboot reboot-bootloader
Once thats done reflash the rom with the new version of TWRP. It should flash just fine :good:
iv managed to flash cm12.1 now, thanks guys, is there anyway i could get the HTC software back on.

There are a number of ways to return to stock software. You can simply flash a stock rom through twrp or use a stock nandroid. look for rom that match your version main. 7.19.401.22
I think there is even an lollipop 7.19.401.22 RUU for your device but I'm not sure if it will work with s-on though because it's a zip but it certainly wouldnt hurt to try it though. You will need to relock your bootloader and flash it with fastboot.
I'll edit this post with links when I find them unless some one beats me to it

Sorry I am at work so availability is scetchy. I found the ruu but it's for the older 7.19.401.2 lollipop, this won't work for you because your s-on. Downgrading firmware is only possible with s-off.
You can use this stock rom though http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/development/rom-100-pure-stock-5-0-2-7-19-401-2-t3044041 just flash it with twrp. The thread recommends TWRP 2.8.5.X no need to relock the bootloader or anything silly, just flash it like any other rom :good:
You'll notice that this rom is also for the older 7.19.401.2 so you will need to install the last OTA update to bring your rom in line with your firmware. Flash this recovery with the same method as twrp. (Stock recovery required for installing the OTA) http://sourceforge.net/projects/htcone/files/Recovery/STOCK/7.19.401.2_recovery.img/download reboot then just go to Settings>About>Check for updates.

Okay try this. Download the OTA but select the option "Install Later" connect your m7 to your pc and browse your storage. In the download folder on your phone you should find the OTA in zip format. Copy it to your pc.
Now open the OTA zip on your pc. Inside you'll find another zip called "firmware.zip" extract it then open it. Inside you'll find a recovery.img. extract the recovery file and flash it with fastboot. Now reboot to android and continue to install the OTA. :fingers-crossed:

Yes you will need to unlock the bootloader to flash the recovery, Dont forget to fastboot erase cache after flashing the recovery that is cruicial. You don't need to be relocked to install the OTA though.
When you select install now, the device should reboot to the Stock Recovery. At first the screen will just be black for a short while. Then you'll see an image of a phone with a Green ring and download arrow. If you hold Volume up and press the power button you will see the Stock Recovery and its progress in installing the OTA.
I'm not sure why your device was hanging on boot after installing the OTA. Maybe a bad recovery.img. that's why I say to get the recovery from the OTA file.
its still not working so i mite just install twrp and restore to cm12.1

Your still stuck with this? Try starting the process over, but do not relock your bootloader at any point.
Wipe system data and cache partitions with TWRP Advanced wipe
Flash the Rom with twrp as a clean install.
Reboot and download the OTA. Choose install later, then copy the OTA to your pc. Extract the Stock Recovery and flash it with fastboot. Reboot and install the OTA.
But do not relock your boot loader. Because when you unlock the bootloader, it wipes the device including the data/preload folder. If the preload folder is not intact the OTA will fail

Hi someone, i hope...
Recently i do a bad upgrade (I think that i flashed recovery on boot, ups!) and after a long, long while i have the phone working again But....
I can't change rom!!!!
Now i have:
- B609 boot unlocked
- B609 stock recovery
- B609 (Flashed through CWM, the only way i can do it)
But i can't change rom, not by dload, neither twrp, neither cwm
Some help? Any idea?
I can flash every recovery and i have tried to roolback b133, update b620 and even b805, but it doesnt work
Can i try another solution?
Thanks in advance!
I'm having the same issue, neither the original stock rom with emui 2.3 or any 3.0 rom install on my p7, all roms ends with an error and after booting there's some apps missing
EDIT: I've followed the only two guides on this forum and still can't install stock rom emui 2.3
So no way to downgrade from b805???
Hey guys... Look @ my edited answer here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=60766165
I'll try! Thanks!
Tonight i've discovered another issue... :-/
When i switch off the phone and connect usb for charging, the phone switchs on, no charging screen, it boots
I think your phone is "dirty". I dont know the right word in english. Try my solution and be happy
Ohhhh! No luck! It gives me the same error, install failed
I've tried to erase the partitions with fastboot and it says: Command nos allowed, i think' perhaps i have security on, but i dont know how to s-off this terminal
I've entered in engineering mode and i can see: fastboot P7-L10C900B805 while i am in b609 (b805 was installed before the fail) so i have to try to downgrade fastboot. Unfortunately it cannot be done with fastboot, again "Command not allowed" :-S
Try to make a install via fastboot with all partions. I think you can try it with b609. If that not work - i have no idea ! I think that you have to wait for full b805, install that via dload and then you can downgrade. The same issue i have with b609 @ beginn
Flash MyROM 3.3, then flash a 3.0 stock recovery. Now do a normal update to the full b609 using the dload folder. Use thw update feature from the settings menu, and not the 3 button method. From here you can do the same for b621 and then b805.
Hope that helps.
I see this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3163748
I think thats help
No way

How to manually revert back to from lollipop to EMUI 3. on Kitkat.
I tried to install flashing boot.img and recovery.img and force update, but failed and bricked the phone.
No chance for transition pack since the phone is only in fast boot mode, wiped all data.
(All mistake, but please help)
Its not bricket
Flash Boot.IMG and recover.IMG from 3.1 and then use transition pack. first you have to bring up your system with lollipop / 3.1 - Think in EMUI not in Android.

Tried to get 3.1 recovery and boot img but dint get.
Solved the issue with firmwares already with me.
1. Extracted boot, recovery, cust, system image from 609 firmware and flashed all to the phone with adb flash command, phone went into bootloop.
2. Force updated with 800.app (transition pack) in dload folder of SD card, power off, still in boot loop.
3. Force updated with 609.app firmware.
YESSS I am back.
Seems the transition pack brought back the IMUI from 3.1 to 3.0

Yes, i tried that, but update failed each time.
I did mistake very first, that led to all these mess, tried to install 133 with EMUI 2.3 over the Lollipop, it failed, tried fastboot flash method for 133 again ended up in update failure with all .APP files. That moment I requested for help here.
The above mentioned method only helped me.
You cant falsh a EMUI 2.3 Version over emui 3.1 or 3.0. You have to downgrade. Pls use search!
3 threats are availiable with this issue. Think in emui not in Android.

OK, Now in detail.
I am very new to android phone, very new to all these procedures.
My phone after Update to Lollipop lost the key board, before trying any fixes i directly went for re installation.
Tried 133.APP but update failed,(Not aware of versions and other issues, to be honest) so i went for the boot.img, recovery.img extration and flashing using adb (as seen in many threads here), failed.
I tried wiping all data in phone.
So my phone was practically empty, only the flashed boot and recovery images.
Searched the post in forums found out 609, 621, 800 only after i did all wrong.
Okay i unterstand this:
Your phone was on b8xx / emui 3.1 at beginn?
Only keayboard issue was the Problem. And then you've tried to flash b133.
If thats correct you have to flash the last Rom thats booted up your phone. I think that was the lollipop beta. This Rom is not availible as full Rom! Only OTA Version. All *.IMG files must be flash via ADB. Than try to Boot up. If thats work you can downgrade via transition pack to b609 or b133 ......

Alright.. Although this is worked on me last updates (B190 to B550 to B560 to B564 to B574) I DON'T PROMISE IT WILL WORK ON YOU!
as always, it is possible that you brick your device, break your sd card, your phone catches on fire, you start WWIII SO KEEP THOSE ON MIND
But.. for me when new update comes i just install it by doing normal force update but i press all three keys as long until i feel second vibrate.
This method is worked on me all those updates i wrote first AND I WERE INSTALLED TWRP AND ROOTED all the time.
When you install update by this method. You lose TWRP, Root access and all what you have flashed by TWRP.
EDIT: UPDATED ONLY USING FULL ROM!
So you don't need to install even stock recovery first?
For me it has worked great without stock recovery. I have always installed full rom so it installs stock recovery
So interesting!I'll try it.But it dosen't work for my honor 4C.

Hi everybody, I tried to google it and search XDA so far, but am not quite sure.
I have ALE-L21C432B170 installed on my phone and downloaded the official update.app (ALE-L21C432B550) for Android 6.0.
So it should all be fine.
My phone is rooted + TWRP recovery but with Stock Rom, so no major changes at all regarding the OS.
Did I understand it correct that the update (using the running system or forced update) will work with my phone?
I am sorry if this was answered before, but it still remains unclear to me.
Thanks, Chris

Hi Chris! For me, it worked while i updated from B190 to B550 so it should work from B170 too!
But i recommend you to download some newer version like B560 or B564 (No double tap bug)
Edit: and do force update
YOU WILL LOSE YOUR DATA SO BACKUP, BACKUP!
Hi Vika, thanks so far. I do backup regularly and especially before doing stuff like this... just wasn´t sure about user experience. I´ll consider trying. Otherwise, I will go back to standard ROM, update, and root & TWRP again.
Might take some time, but I´ll let you guys know.
Thx, Chris

Huawei uses two recoveries yes
One stock recovery for updates and such hence recovery (1)
The other one is the "emergency" recovery which is EMUI recovery to download a firmware which usually fails anyway (maybe due to unlocked bootloader and removed drm?)
Also yes it's possible to install OTA due to the fact that TWRP uses a legacy script when it's installing OTA's which is used in regular recovery, therefor it won't fail this has been announced in TWRP changelog but few is understanding it.
Only downside is it will revert recovery and kill root.
and small updates will install just fine, doesn't matter which, just be aware if it mess up its not anyone else fault but yours if you update and it suddenly dies or bootloop
I confirme it works like a sharm
So I was an idiot, I've resigned myself to this fact because I've clearly done something wrong.
TWRP installed, rooted and booted.
Then I tried to flash a new ROM from here using TWRP and well... that's where things went tits up. Something in TWRP said in red about not being able to mount something. The loading screen was stuck and then it just bootlooped over and over again. I downloaded a stock ROM, wiped system and tried to flash but now it's stuck on the "your device is shifty" screen and I'm totally out of ideas...
Please refrain from pointing out what a moron I've been.
Thanks in advance to anyone who can save this wretched soul.
do you have access to bootloader with fastboot?
seeing a lot of threads like this around here. Don't want to offend you or anybody else but just that someone has said it: First thing you do after flashing TWRP is a backup
hope you get your things sorted though. Can your please provide a more detailed list of things you did? How did you try to flash the stock rom you downloaded? dload forced update? flashed in twrp? etc.

Yeah I realised I should have done that the second things started going wrong, I got cocky. And I tried to flash the stock with TWRP; downloaded it to my laptop, put it on the SD card and then in to the phone. Every process that the installation or wipe or any of the other actions performed by TWRP is followed by a line saying "Failed to mount '/ data' (Invalid argument)". I tried to follow the forced update of the stock but I couldn't seem to get that to work either ( this method stechguide.com/marshmallow-stock-rom-for-huawei-p9 ). After all that I can't think if there's anything else.

Ok, so a few things:
-The failed to mount /data message probably means that you have an old version of TWRP, check the thread again and make sure you use at least RC3 (newest one afaik).
-Original stock Huawei roms are not suitable for TWRP, to flash a stock rom you need a stock recovery which you can flash back the same way you flashed twrp (using fastboot, or SRK tools). Once you have stock recovery, you can force the update by putting the update file in a folder on your sdcard (internal or external) called "dload". Then you turn off the phone and start it by holding volume up, volume down and power.
-Alternatively you could use a custom rom, which you can find in the dev thread. Custom roms can and should be flashed in TWRP.
Try relocking botloader and installing stock rom with this tool

I keep pressing the up/down + power buttons but it keeps going to TWRP, as for the out of date version I have 3.0.0-0 but as lomunet suggested I'm downloading the srk tool. That's what I originally used to install TWRP in the first place. For the stock ROM to boot do I need to do anything to the file when it's downloaded (ie zipped or unzipped)? Nosing around a few other threads I noticed they mention something about making a file in the root of the file, and I hope you'll pardon my ignorance, but I have no idea how to do that. As for the custom ROM, I'll try that again when srk tools has finished downloading and I've reinstalled TWRP.

And I'd just like to thank you two for your patience!
Edit:
Ok so, I installed the latest TWRP (3.0.2-eva-modaco-rc3) and that went off without a hitch. Using the SRK tools that lomunet suggested I tried to sideload the stock ROM but the error message of " cannot read 'sideload\ROM.zip' " keeps popping up. I'm downloading a custom ROM (forum.xda-developers.com/p9/development/rom-huawei-p9-fromfuture-newworld-t3390820) as I type to see if that works flashing it through TWRP.

you really need to flash stock recovery first to flash stock firmware. It won't work as long as you have TWRP installed you can use SRK tools to flash stock recovery.
If you are always stuck, jus download "DC Phoenix"(i don't know if i'm authorized to post the name ?), it's a paid app but it's worked for me. Just boot to fastboot mode, and flash your firmware with the app

Ahhhh right right right. So I need to remove TWRP first, then use SRK tools to flash the stock recovery?
... so, how do I remove TWRP?

Installing stock recovery will remove TWRP.
