Hello, I recently bought a new EB20 Battery (Motorola Branded) for my Motorola Atrix HD, and whenever I plug it in to charge it (the phone can be on or off, it doesn't matter), it shows that it is charging, but it never even goes up one percent! I would like to know if anyone has a fix for this, or if there is something I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have a HTC wizard and recently when i was using it the screen went blank. (i lost my original charger and had to get a replacement Moto Razr Mini USB charger since my town dosnt even have a proper store!!!)
I ended up charging the phone for a while and then when i disconnected the charger to use the phone it just went blank and will not turn on anymore. Even the Battery Charging (orange) LED will not turn on. What do i do? should i get a new battery? or should i try getting another charger?
thanks

assuming it was working properly before it crashed, you will probably have to either find someone else with a wizard and have them charge your battery for you, buy a new battery put it in the phone, boot up and leave it connected to the USB for a full day to charge it up completely. Search the forums for the 9V battery revival trick, it may help you get booted up and be able to save the cost of a second battery.
dont get a battery a waste of time
the problem is the charger I have confimed this. In my environment we have about 10 Razors and 20 MDA's. This is a common complaint amougst our users. The motorola charger don't work on the MDA'S. I promise you if you get another charger it will work. Also if you plug your sync cable in to a pc it will charge this should prove my point.
I have an unrooted (never been) un-modified Bionic with the original OEM battery and OEM charger and Standard dock.
Fairly regularly I can plug my phone in and it will show charging (both on the lock screen and in the notification bar) but will fail to charge (at least the percentage never increases and often decreases normally as if it were not plugged in. I can usually remedy this by rebooting the phone, and then it will take a charge normally, however, this is inconvenient, especially if I don't catch it until I take it off the charger expecting a full battery.
It is not due to something running using battery as sometimes even after a reboot, it will not charge.
Is this a known issue with the Bionic? Is there any fix? Should I be talking to motorola about a replacement?
Thanks for the advice.
I'd be talking to Verizon or Motorola about the issue, definitely not a common issue.
I think my girlfriend has this issue with her Bionic. Either way she has infinitely more problems than my Rezound.
What type of charger do you have for your bionic? Some non-Verizon chargers have problems as Verizon has it so you actually need a Verizon charger on some Bionics. Fortunately for me, I'm able to charge from a nonbranded.charger but if I want to sync up to my computer, I need a Verizon USB or I can't sync or even read the SD card. Kind of messed up if you ask me, but I guess Verizon has to make every last dollar they can to keep Wall St happy.

Hey, I dropped my atrix hd flat on its face on a rug and now it just won't turn on. When I plugged in the wall charger the green charge light comes on and then the Motorola duel core boot sign comes on and the it shuts off and repeats the same process. So it constantly repeats the reboot only as far as the Motorola sign. The phone was rooted and the bootloader and the sim carrier is unlocked. It's running kit kat Ron I think was CM. When I unplugged the phone it just shuts off like I removed the battery. I will order another battery but this one is only a few months old so how can it be that or how even is it possible to ruin my phone with a simple drop? It's dropped harder before but this is just weird. Please help.
Did you do the EB40 mod?
Have you tried to go into recovery and/or bootloader mode?
Fixed
So I ordered a new battery even though I just replaced this one and come to find out that the battery has a sticker to hold the battery in place for the HD models. I guess I forgot to do it the first time changing it and when I dropped it I guess it damaged the battery ribbon. With the new battery it works fine and I made sure it is stuck. Thanks for you replies.
I have an Atrix hd with the Maxx battery mod. No roms just stock android. The other day it was freezing and I did a hard reset. Got it up and running but later on it froze again and nothing. I opened it up and looked at the battery the ribbon cable looked like the connections have been severed so I bought a new battery thinking I could swap it out and solve it. Still nothing
I have no notification lights, doesn't look like the screen is getting power, I have tried charging it with 2 different chargers (stock and 2.1 amp from nexus tablet) before and after battery swap. Tried usb to pc to see if that would do something and nothing. It is totally bricked.
My question is is there any hope? All of threads I have found on getting it back up lead me nowhere. Thank You
I bought a Moto G 2014 Dual Sim XT1068 back in November and hadn't had any issues with it until today. I bought an anger 3000MaH portable battery pack and was amazed at how quickly it charged my phone. I used it yesterday and charged it overnight. I used it throughout today. I turned it off around midday and plugged it into my charger. When I attempted to turn it on later nothing happened. No, please charge, no **** has crashed, just nothing. The screen just stays dark. My computer no longer recognises it as a device and my portable charger will no longer recognise it as a phone to be charged, I know this because it worked with a friends phone, but not mine, and it still has battery (the charger)
What should I do?
Do I use ADB, ask Anker, return it, what is my best course of action?
If anyone knows what to do please reply as until this is fixed I do not have any ideas.
PS; No rooting, bootloader unlocking, or use of custom ROMs has occurred, the phone is completely using stock android.
