I updated my P7-l10 from b620 to b621 with no problems. But when I try to update from b621 to b623 I get a error. I tried many ways (local update and force update), but it always fails "Software install failed!"
Any suggestions what should I do?
how did you update exactly?
you just have to put the update.zip into dload folder and then start updating through local update..

so I don't need to extract the zip?

I'm running B609 which was 341 mb size. I installed it from b602.
Can u tell me how to downgrade from B609 to b133 ? cause i want to make FULL update from b133 to b609. which is 1.2 gb size update.help me guyz,thanks in advance.
you can do the full update also from the b609 OTA..
just put the update.app inside dload folder on your sdcard and perform a force update (everything will be erased, so backup your data)..
you need also to be on stock recovery!!!
i did it this way and i have no issues so far..

uhm,never.
ok..then you just have to put the update.app inside the dload folder on your sdcard (you might have to create it on the sdcard)..
then do a backup of all your personal data - through the onboard app from huawei)..
after that turn off your phone..wait few seconds..
then you press volume up & volume down & power at the same time and hold them pressed until the screen changes into the "new" emui recovery screen (when i remember right it is a circle with emui inside)..then you can release the buttons and wait for the update to be processed..after that your phone restarts itself and then you should be able to configure your phone
that is all..

Thank you very much for your detailed explanation,by the way on my lock screen there is EMERGENCY CALL feature,how can I remove it?
i think this isn't possible (and if it needs root and a heavy modding)..

Whenever I did that,there is USB icon instead of EMUI. its already 100% but it do nothing. im really confused.
I put update.app,then turned on off phone,waited like 30 seconds,then i pressed vol + vol - power key.it started to loading. its now at 100%.but is till do nothing. any solutions ?

B609 installation was complete. 1.3GB, but did not like it.
I would stay in the old Emui2.3. Just would like to come back onto B133.
But in case dload folder copied and three-button start the downgrade does not work.

can you please help me how to root my ascend p7 b609, i just updated it from b133sp1, and now i cant root it after i have updated to b609, i tried root genius and iroot none of them worked, can you please send me the link of instructions how to root my phone as i can see you have rooted your p7 b609, i would apreciate it, thanks:fingers-crossed:

Here i have copied this Updates from my Phone ...(yes i have it back )
So first you must be on STOCK B609 and update it with this one
Make a new Folder called "dload" on external SD-Card and paste it there

I guess it is an incremental update - everything that is in B609 should also be in B615, so if you ask me, it's totally safe. In any case, if something goes wrong, you can still use a full update rom in dload and the three button flash method. (OR you can force downgrade to B609 AND flash this one.)

I've tried with above folder, with dload, uncompressed and zip inside. No luck with local update. Failes each time. Any suggestions how it should be installed?
You have to put the update.zip in "dload" folder at external SD; not in HwOUC folder!

To update to B805, do what the OP said. To downgrade to B609, use the dload folder method with the full B609 ROM (the official one, not the CWM flashable).
Has anyone tried it yet? Screenshots please.

Well, currently I'm using my-rom 3.3. how do i "downgrade" to stock b609? Does a CWM flashable 609 work over my-rom?
And also, any ideas of, in case something goes wrong, how to downgrade from beta emui3.1 to 3.0?
I have problems with upgrading from B830 to B853. Every time I try to update, it just ends up in TWRP and I will just have to reboot.
I downloaded the update.app from http://consumer.huawei.com/de/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=58465 hoping that would work. I have also tried downloading it using Updater (only 70MB there) but the result is same. I thought it would be a fast update for better performance, don't really want to do a clean install at this moment.
Any suggestions? Has anyone had the same problem?

depends on how you update..
via local update it is not a clean install..by force update it will be a clean install (what i recommend, and after update a factory reset)..
the upgrade to the mate s is worth it, better performance, more features, brighter and clearer display, btw bigger

I may have seriously messed up. I tried to clean install but that still led to the same error. After that I tried to go back to original boot.img and recovery.img using adb but now I can't go anywhere. TWRP won't start (as expected because I flashed recovery.img) and it just says "Unfortunately boot failed, get more information ...".
Need some help.
UPDATE: I managed to get TWRP back but how do I install B853 update.app from there? I can only manage to get to TWRP sometimes, it mostly just reboots. fak
I really need my phone; this is making me very nervous.
I got it installing (this screen http://oi59.tinypic.com/27xhvna.jpg) but after 10 minutes my phone is ridiculously hot and it is STILL verifying update package (loading bar gets stuck 10% from end)... PLEASE HELP ME, I don't have money for a new phone.
UPDATE: managed to FINALLY reinstall B830 thank god. I'm scared to retry updating to B853.
Hey guys i just updated to the L19C432B383 via dload method i used firmware finder to get the file the thing is that after sucscesfully flasing via dload the system info shows b378 firmware somehow its like the update was installed cause google on any screen its now working without conflicts i wanna know if anyone knows about this and will help me solving it

I need to send the phone to service because i have (as many others) issues with my gps.
So i need the following:
Procedure for unrooting.
Official recovery.img for android 7.
Procedure to downgrade to android 6.
I think that with the transition package you can lock (not relock) the bootloader.
Can somebody help me?
You dload the Rollback pack .
Then you dload the B136 .
After this Bootloader locked root away. All is Original. Then you Update to B182 and Ready.

I am reading different users have different experiences with different versions of each update. Can you please point me to the correct files for, rollback package and b136?
Also do i have to wipe , format , erase fingerprint data , flash c432 cust , etc ?
Here are the Roll Back pack with 100 mb.
You create an folder name is dload.
In this folder you copy and paste the Update.app .
Then you Power Off Device.
Vol +Vol- Power
Update runs .
After this you delete the dload folder and create a new dload folder and copy and paste all Files from Download Eva L09 C432B136 in the dload folder.
After this Power OFF and same procedur. Vol-Vol+Power and Update runs .
After this you are Happy and wate for Updates to B182 and ....and.....
Ok B136 files comming soon
