Is there any VNC applications that you use on the galaxy tab?

Do you guys use any VNC app (or anything similar) that will allow you to connect to your PC remotely from anywhere in the world? (outside your home)
Please provide the link.
Thanks.
RealVNC , LogMeIn, TeamViewer and Phone My PC all work fine for me. RealVNC was 50% off recently and still might be.
TeamViewer is the only free app out of the ones I listed here.
I like Pocketcloud.

Do you think it is better than the apps that was posted by the person above/before ( kable ) you?
I have used Pocket Cloud and it is pretty good. I am about to try Tonido as it seems to offer more flexibility by turning your Desktop into a personal cloud server. This allows you to share files by giving others a simple URL that they can download a file from. You can stream media to your device also.
Both are free and in the market.

Edited to add:
Tonido gives you a list of files on your computer and uses (I think) the built in editor to make changes.
The media is limited to mp3 and photos.
Looks clean and secure, check it out!
I use android-vnc-viewer.works well
I also gave droid vnc server instaled....

I use Teamviewer all the time. Simple and very reliable

RealVNC and TeamViewer, both of them are good!
I use PocketCloud with Remote Desktop enabled on my Windows computer. It works perfectly. I love how PocketCloud has that little cursor to make clicking easier. I also used LogMeIn for a while but you need a yearly subscription and you also need to buy the prohibitively priced LogMeIn Ignition for your phone.
i use Android VNC; so far so good. It works with RealVNC and other vnc server. Not sure about teamviewer; it work well on PC but mine got problem with Android. And I think cannot get Free Teamviewer apps for Android.

thnx everyone will try your suggestions
I'll definitely throw GRemote into the mix. It's very pretty and works flawlessly as a mouse, keyboard or as a media remote

I also would like to know if there is a VNC type of app that it would let me view and control my PC through my phone without the need to connect to the internet at all???

I use Android VNC with Tight VNC Server running as a windows process on my XP machine. You will, of course, have to port forward your firewall to the VNC server (5800 and 5900 TCP/UDP I think).
Now if only I had a newer TV with higher resolution...
on second thought, I would never leave the couch.
Logmein Ignition is really good, use it for work and its very fast and smooth would highly recommend..!
I second Teamviewer
I second WYSE Pocket Viewer, the free version lets you connect to 1 desktop.. I connect to VNC server .. It has good data compression algo, so even on 2G its usable.. On 3g and WiFi this simply rocks

I would second Teamviewer. It is fantastic and I would use it exclusively except that you can't use TV to do WakeOnLan. If it had that, it would be 100% perfect.
Use TeamViewer, it's fast and it's free.
Splashtop Remote is the newest and fastest remote client. It is fast enough to play movies and games off your PC and on your phone.
I use both TeamViewer and Unified Remote - TV for general purpose control and UR for special applications like VLC and power point presentations. No problems encountered so far.

This did it for me.
I use teamviewer as support for my friends computers.
Splashtop is great in the sense that it forwards the sound from your computer to your phone or tablet, where teamviewer lacks that.

seriously? one thing about wyse and teamviewer is that they show siginificant lag times...gonna try this out! :silly:
+1 Splashtop. Use it on all my phones and tablet for multiple PCs. Works great, very fast and fluid.

Gba emuator

Is it even possible to run a gba emulator on windows phone 7?
Sent from my Lumia 900 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
That should be possible, the hardware isn´t a problem(even on my ipod touch with half the hardware specs of wp7 it worked so well!!!), but maybe due to wp7´s os limitations it isn´t possible.... We need a developer to work on this! I want to play Pokemon!
I know a gba emulator would keep me from switching to the galaxy nexus I miss playing all my mega man and Pokemon games .. If there's anyone out there working on it needing funding or anything I'd gladly donate
Sent from my Lumia 900 using XDA Windows Phone 7 App
for now only .gb games (even not gameboycolor which would have been .gbc) are possible by wario jewels / purple cherry(marketplace),i think there is yellow edition possible, but without colors, and yes there is for now also no developer who is interested in programming .gba emulator(developer of upper proggi has stopped project for now) so i think you can wait long on this event
There's a gbc emulator I'm using that's on the marketplace now I've been using it and it works pretty well

Chromecast App Marketplace?

What are you thoughts on an app marketplace for this device? Do you think they will integrate apps for this? It would be a neat feature to incorporate. Perhaps another concept would be to stream the app you're using and send it to the the device to view on your TV, not sure here, just thinking out loud!
Thoughts?

FaceNiff for x86 ?

Hi so has anyone got a working version of faceniff for our RAZR I or an x86 device ? I have the app installed and it runs and opens but wen I turn it on it starts then stops right away!
I am not using this as a hacking tool but rather a Netflix blocker
I noticed it seems to stop Netflix working on the net word but affects nothing else and its become a great way to stop my kids abusing Netflix all day
Sent from my XT890 using xda app-developers app
Couldn't get this working either: "Faceniff service stopped" it says...
Yeh I got it working on an old phone I have an mtk s3 clone it picks up profiles but doesn't show stuff but it works great as a Netflix blocker only problem is battery on that phone is gone and it only lasts 20 min
This all works great and just seems to block Netflix on my network and nothing else its a great way to get my kids out the house by saying Netflix instant working right now haha
