[Q] Getting BraviaEngine 2 after unlocking bootloader?

So after i unlocked my bootloader and the thread mentioned that i will lose my Bravia Engine 2. Actually the pictures look very bad without the Bravia Engine 2, I was so impressed with the quality when i first got the phone. After i lost my BE2 they are looking terrible
Is there any bossible way that i can get it back? I tried to flash Bravia Engine 2.zip grpm another thread but didn't work

I think it is a lower level configuration and we have to wait till it is ported. Don't know about the chances for that in the near future. Can anybody explain this? This is the only thing that keeps me from unlocking the bootloader and flashing custom roms... never been this long on stock in the last two/three years

Bravia Engine is dead for us
It only work now for gingerbread, even if you relock bootloader no work for ICS and JB,.thats the consequences for us unlocking bootloaders that even the sony didnt mention!. .Bravia Engine, we cant get it back. .u want it?. .buy a new phone. .

Take better pictures, then they won't look so washed out without bravia engine

[Q] Restore Bravia Engine 2 after relocking bootloader

As the title says i would like to know if there is a way to make bravia engine work after relocking bootloader....i made the mistake to unlock the bootloader but now i relocked it and install from scratch the official firmware via Sony update service...everything fine except the bravia engine that isn't working on album photos...

you had to backup your simlock.ta before unlocking the bootloader, so that you could restore it when you are relocked to make bravia engine work again...
SEEMINGLY there is no way to bring it back unless you have YOUR .TA file, unfortunately you can't use anyone's .TA file

There is one way to back it, as some one have get it back on Xperia U, Sola, P etc.

bro I flashed this zip and wow!!!! bravia engine2 is working again!!! i want to remind you that i relocked the bootloader....if you use stock odexed rom you need also to delete credential manager.odex!!!!!! everything is now OK!!!!!

it always worked on videos...it never stopped...but now it is fully working also with album pictures

But i think it is working on ICS, but i need it on JB 4.1.2 Xpeira V LT25i

i tell you that i have 4.1.2 JB firmware, i did that and it is fully working!but you should relock your bootloader to work!..

Well i did everything step by step again and it's working fine with movie. but it didn't work for album at all. plz some suggestion

U need to lock ur BL to make be2 work in album.
In 4.3 jb it will work for both album n movies by same process

i think no more suggestions i can give. for me im so happy that both r working. tested for almost 10 times in 4.3 stock rom

I've installed xreality for mobile, It's not working for videos.has anyone else noticed that xreality is not working for videos??

yeps Bro,it doesn't work for video,only for album,cannot find the be1 flashable,still waiting for a solution to make the xreality to work for vids..unfortunately.. still no answer

It does work for me. Why didn't you do a CMW backup before intalling the mod ???

If you are still on locked bootloader, there is a trick to use MBE toggles to turn on X-reality in movie

I'm currently using a custom rom with most z1 apps,only xreality not working.
I've a backup which contains be1, but I don't want to restore cause I'll lose the custom rom...

[Q] Bravia Engine

Guys, is there a difference between the original Bravia Engine 2 that comes with the phone and installing Bravia Engine mod or feature that comes with Pimp My Rom app ?
The reason I ask is because I lost my DRM license by unlocking my bootloader before taking TA backup and wanted to know if it really can be installed as mod afterwards.

u can't. if u didn't backup ur TA u have lost bravia... forever

i'm not asking if i can get my drm license back, i'm asking about the difference between the original BE2 and the mod in pimp my rom.

alternativly existenz rom has x-reality engine implemented from honami, i never actually tried to see if it works but it's supposed to.

i'm now using 4.3 stock firmware with LB!
before i was in existenZ 1.3.7!
i have never unlucked my BL and i have backup of my DRM keys (TA)
my problem:
when i was in existenZ Bravia Engine was very good and had big effects on pictures but now i flashed Generic_AU 4.3 stock and now the Bravia Engine has no any effect in pictures
whats the problem?
- eXistenZ had X-reality! it may was effect of X-reality?

To tell the truth...I didn't see any changes :cyclops:

4.3 has error in bravia, random reboots as well

Error in BE and Some Bugs in illumination saw in STAMINA mode ....
Some Bugs in "Me" in Contacts and so more...
+ your random reboots
Wait For Sony and dear developers

I fixed the Random Reboots by using RemountReboot Fixer, the BE was fixed by replacing the be_album and be_movie with the ones from 4.1
I had no problems with Illumination
