The phone is dual sim. But, is ît dual standby?
It is dual standby. For data like the rest of dual sim card phone only 1 SIM can be used though

Anyway to have the Sim slot replaced? Is it equivalent to replacing the whole board?
Lucky for me, I'm using dual Sim, with the 2g slot being the one that's damaged.

Has anyone tried a Magic Sim dual Sim adapter or any other dual Sim adapter on a unlocked t-mobile note 4?

If your current one fits I'd go with the current one.

Use the new one. Just call them and activate it, i did that. Might as well you paid for it besides you will have to call to activate the note 7 and let them know your using your old sim. Call will end right after they switch the sim and activate it on the new device so either way same thing.

I just put in the old card and turned the phone on and it's done
I heard new cards contain more stuff, so it's best to use the latest and greatest, just pop it in and dial 611, it switched in less than 5 minutes.

Yeah you don't have to activate the phone just the SIMS card. I'm using the same SIMs card on my Note 4 Note 5 and Note 7... just have to add the little adapter to put it back in the Note 4 to make it bigger

Sim card from my Note 4 didn't fit in the Note 7. Too big and couldn't be made any smaller. Had it since the Note 2 I believe.
Hello, somebody know if the model N9600 could use dual sim if I bought a dual sim tray? Or flashing dual sim firmware could enable that functionality?
I check specs and say it's dual sim capable
Is the hardware there for second sim?

So that means you can't simply use a dual SIM adapter.

Why don't you be the guinea pig if you want dual SIM? The hardware might not be there.
I'm using two sims. Both are 4g enabled sims. The one I use most is currently using the sim slot number 2 of my European ekynos s10. On this slot, the network I can choose are 2g/3g/lte. So it gets connected normally using 4g. But the slot number 1 have 2g/3g/4g.
So my question : is there any difference between using a lte dedicated slot and a 4g one? Should I use one rather than the other (battery wise for instance)?
Thanks

These are the possible networks using sim 1 or sim 2 on my s10. Does it make any difference using one rather that the other? Does it affect battery life whatsoever? View attachment 4773774
Don't think it matters here. However, I have LTE showing up on both.View attachment 4773937
