[Q] Cheap battery on Dealextreme

Hi everyone,
I found a cheap 1500 mAh battery (with charging cradle) for 8.30$ on Dealextreme, shipping included.
It's most certainly not 1500 mAh, but at that price I want to give it a try, as an emergency battery.
It's only my second post and I can't add links yet, so go to Dealextreme.com and type SKU 57063 in the search bar.

Question is: will it fit in an i9023 Nexus S? On the site it's written for i9020, and I've heard there is a difference in thickness between the two models, so I'm wondering if it has something to do with the battery.
I've asked on the site but no answer for now.

First of all, the thickness of the i9023 has nothing to do with the battery. It has SCLCD, with backlight. That's what's making it thicker. So they've got the same battery.
Second, I wouldn't recommend any other battery than an OEM one. I have ordered this one a few weeks ago, so it should arrive on my doorstep in a couple of days. If you are patient, I'll make some tests and come back here with the results.

I always think the DX offers the cheapest items among the large online stores, and I find there are another ones with much more items sold at much better prices , just, you can search from Pickegg.com, you will find a lot.

No Case-Mate cases in their view either!

Wow, what a day! First I got an email from Seidio, and in the same day, Case Mate (which happens to be one of my favorite case companies) says, and I quote "we do not have any specific information on when, or if cases for the Note 2 might become available." OUCH!. Here's their email:

I can't believe it! It looks like I'm going the Samsung original case way, and forgetting about these cases for a while.

But AT&T is selling Case-Mate POP case already for the Note 2...what's i dont even...

All the att note 2 cases say they ship in 14 days.

I was talking to EdgeHood about how I will be getting a Nexus 4 soon and would love for him to develop for it. There is one problem however; he doesn't have a nexus 4. This is where we come in. The phone is coming back in stock soon.*If he wants one, he'll be able to get one. By the time we all pool our money together and have enough to get him one, he could have saved up just as quickly and bought one himself.

Itskins Problem

Any body have a problem ordering from Itskins? I ask because I ordered their GLA.Z Tempered Glass Screen Protector. I ordered it on 1/26/2013, right before their national holiday.
They do not respond to my E-Mails. I've left messages on their "Offline" support, which never seems to be online.
I am now getting very annoyed. My order has been labeled "IN PREPARATION" for over a month!

i posted in the itskins thread regarding this. they don't respond to anything. i sent emails and offline messages inquiring about their Lava case for the note 2. i ended up ordering it despite it being out of stock. it took about 4-5 days but it came. i think you just got unlucky with your order. the case i got isn't that great. I'd go with a different company. casemate at least has amazing customer service.

opasha - Well the %@!$&*^%!*@$ have my money already. I'll either give up (NOT) or keep contacting them via their allowed methods.
I really liked the look of their SP. Full screen, even around the speaker and the home button.
While I wait impatiently, I'll have to find an as good replacement.

I ordered on 1-15. After 2 months I just requested a refund through email. They never responded but I did get a refund. Also seems that their screen protectors are just now ready to ship out this week.
Also when I ordered I got a discount. The refund me the normal price. Got an extra 10 dollars back

I wish they would have told me that it would be in stock soon.
Where did you find that information?

Itskins gave me a reply, which is all I wanted. (besides my SP) Communication is so important.
