Problem with wifi connecting after disabling - Galaxy Note5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I am using the Canadian/Tmobile version for the Note 5 with arter's kernel. I would disable wifi and after if I re-enable the wifi, the wifi becomes stuck at "turning on" and not scan any network until I toggle airplane mode. Sometime I have to toggle airplane mode 2-3x before it starts finding a connection with the wifi. Do you think this is a software issue or hardware? Thanks.

I think is software. Try this:
Turn off your phone, and then turn it on pressing and holding Volume Up, Home, and Power button at the same time until you see a warning. Then press Volume Up to continue, and navigate using volume keys and select wipe cache/factory reset with the Home button, then select wipe cache partition, and finally reboot.
Please note that by doing this all your data will be lost.

why does the h6515 power itself on?

question, i've got a 6515 and it keeps powering itself on. when i turn it off (with the on switch), it automatically powers on after a few minutes. this drains my battery within 18 hours since the pda function is activated (back light and screen comes on). it keeps powering on automatically every time i turn it off. i disabled all connectivity (no sim present, bluetooth of. so both are disabled). i disabled the gps download applet, so it cannot automatically download. i disabled the active sync setting (After setting it to manually and unchecked all the peaktime settings). i also tried to reflash my current rom (the latest), but it keeps powering on? i also took out all the memory cards and there are no third party applications installed (just did a hard reset). any help is appreciated, or else i will throw the thing out of the window (then i know for sure it will never turn on again)!
mine did the same thing for a while and it was related to activesync and blutooth ativesync. no idea what fixed it tho. sorry
Disable Hardware Buttons
Have you tried to disable the hardware buttons to see if it maybe a button that is getting pressed. To disable them hit Start, goto Settings, tap Buttons, tap the Lock tab, then put a check in the "Disable all buttons except power button" box.

WiFi bug?

Whenever I turn WiFi off, if I turn it back on, the quick settings displays a exclamation mark over the WiFi toggle, if I open the WiFi settings I can toggle on and off but it won't search for any networks, a reboot fixes the problem, but its kinda annoying :/ anyone we having this?

[Q] Random Reboot after disabling Airplane Mode

So i had this problem a few times now, its always the same: Sometimes I have an exclamation mark on both the Wifi and Mobile Data, but the Internet Connection still works. So then i try to enable/disable Airplane Mode to get rid of these exclamation marks. But on clicking the toggle to disable Airplane Mode the phone just crashes and immediately reboots
Running Stock with Lean Kernel.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Turning on bluetooth freeezes and then reboots the phone

When I try to turn on bluetooth (which is usually turned off) everything freezes the moment I 'click' on the turn on/off switch. After the freeze it takes around one-two minutes to restart the phone and then I can normally turn the bluetooth on.
The strange thing is that I can turn it off and on then and it will work, but when I turn it off and leave it off for a few days, and then try to turn it on the phone will freeze again...
My build number is EVA-L09C432B505. Stock firmware, regulary updated.

Did you have the same problem before updating to b505?
Maybe there is a problem related to specific BT headset you are using or so, does it reproduce if you delete all BT connections...
Have you tried Factory Reset and Wipe Cache from Recovery and then turning on BT (without registering yet your BT headset)
You can boot to eRecovery (switch off, connect by USB to charger, press and keep pressing Vol+, press Pow button).
From eRecovery you can opt to (re)Install latest firmware and recovery, followed by Factory reset and Wipe cache

Screen timeout issue seemingly caused by activating airplane mode

I recently tried activating and deactivating airplane mode on my Galaxy S10 5G to reset my data connection, which was having issues. When I did, the phone's screen timeout somehow set itself to a setting that normally doesn't exist (see attached screen shot). This causes the screen to go black almost immediately when there's no activity. Since happening the first time, my phone keeps defaulting to this setting, usually when charging it overnight. The setting disappears of I select another option and exit the menu, but keeps showing up again whenever it defaults back or I activate airplane mode again. Does anyone have any clue what's happening here?
Welcome to XDA.
Try clearing the system cache first.
