Ok so do you know how to use fastboot/adb commands? If yes then post the output of "fastboot getvar all" (except your imei and sn).
If no read post #6 of this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/htc-one/help/help-to-phone-t3254025

Either the drivers are not installed correctly or its a connectivity issue (bad USB cable, bad USB port (phone or computer).
What is your hboot version?
Try a different cable already known to work for data connection
Try another usb port (usb 2.0 only)
Try another computer

You can't flash a rom using "fastboot flash xxx.zip" The only thing you can flash using fastboot is a RUU and that will requires fastboot connectivity and the output of "fastboot getvar all" so we can know what ruu you need.

Thx bro i am coming back

Would help to have S-OFF, There are 3 RUU that can be flashed on your phone, the first one 3.63.707.4 is an unsigned RUU and requires S-OFF, the second and third ones requires your firmware to be updated before they can be flashed on your phone...
You might want to flash this rom using twrp http://www.htc1guru.com/dld/guru_reset_m7_2-24-707-1-zip/. When installing, select yes to install stock recovery and stock radio, select no when asked to root. Then boot the phone in the OS and try updating it.
Ps. Please don't send me multiple PMs requesting "urgent" help. Just post here and I (or someone else) will eventually answer you as soon as possible.

I apologize for PM u twice bro! I download the ruu and one is in exe. format, i follow the step and it said that the phone and PC is not well connected. And the second RUU is in zip form and there are a lot of files inside like boot.img somehow. I get trouble in flashing the RUU and what is the most safe way of doing S-OFF?

You should be able to S-OFF using Rumrunner which is free. The easiest way to S-OFF is Sunshine which cost 25$. Did you tried the rom linked above?

[SOLVED] No imei and ROM install seems incomplete

Hi all,
First, i would like to apologize for my poor english.
Then, i have some problems with my HTC M7.
Yesterday, when i woke up, my phone was shut down. I thought that i had no battery anymore. (i had less than 10% when i went to bed so, it's possible).
Well, plug my phone in the charger, and wait... and, when he booted, i could not use my phone as usually: no PIN code, no ability to make phone call... After a few minutes, i saw that the IMEI zone was empty.
I was not worrying, and though that a simple cache cleearing could help me... Well, it was not...
Now, i'm not able to use my phone AT ALL.
He's rooted, S-OFF, and i tried to install 3 or 4 different roms but same problem.
The ROM install has some difficulties to be finished: in fact, on each rom i tried to install, i have now the same problem;
-> No IMEI
-> When i want to compose a phone number, the dialer does not appear
-> A message "com.htc.htcdialer isn't responding" appears every minute...
I tried to install another dialer, same problem...
I'm really lost.
hope that somebody could help me?
Regards,
Cyril
PS: For information, after the incident, my phone was not rooted anymore and was S-ON, i don't know if it was already the case before the incident...
UPDATE: Finally, i succeed to install a rom.
Everything works fine now, but still no imei present...

Guys,
I tried to install the RUU but it failed:
Update from 3.62.1700.1 to 4.19.401.9, i click on next, then next, then a message (in french so i translate to you):
The update tool cannot update the android phone,
Please obtain the right update tool and try again.
Then, i can only click on ReadMe or Recovery, but nothing relevant after that.

Well, it's not ok, with this rom too i can't update my phone...
Maybe should i have to find a 3.62 RUU in order to update?

What do you mean, can't update... you mean the ruu isn't working?
if so, then get this one: ruu_m7ul_1.28.401.7.zip
AFH mirror: http://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=23329332407584993
then (after making sure MD5 is correct), rename the file to ruu.zip, and:
In bootloader/FASTBOOT USB, flash it:
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip
fastboot flash zip ruu.zip <- yes TWICE, the first one will report “failed flush again”, the second one will succeed.
fastboot reboot-bootloader
there is no need to relock bootloader or anything else with S-OFF (and stay S-OFF, don't even think about S-On!!)
if you want to see what kind of output to expect, check my guide http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=47794257&postcount=8 (post 8) which has a some visual feedback of what to expect. (disregard the guide, i'm just linking it for you to get an idea of what kind of output to expect)

BTW, if you going for 4.4 ROMs, use TWRP: get TWRP from:
2.6.3.3: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7
or 2.6.3.4: http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7ul
(make sure MD5 is correct, that site does not play nice with download managers)

in bootloader/FASTBOOT USB:
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.6.3.3-m7.img

fastboot reboot-bootloader

Stock OTA does not find updates // broken stock recovery

hey guys,
i just wanted to go back to stock with my HTC ONE. I flashed the Guru Reset M7 3.62.401.1.zip on my device but now it won't find any system updates. Also the recovery seems to be broken. Even after flashing the recovery seperatly the phone only shows a red triangle when i try to enter the stock recovery.
It also does not find any updates with the SuperCID.
Do you have any idea how to fix that?
I have the international Version of the HTC ONE.
Thanks in advance!

post your fastboot getvar all please without imei and serial number, be sure to remove these two items before posting, there have been a lot of users on here lately looking for replacement imei numbers etc, I just had a PM asking me for one, with that info they could clone your phone.
next, are you sure the 401 ruu is yours, that's why I want your fastboot getvar all.
are you s-off ?
the red triangle is stock recovery.
if you are s-off, change your CID back to HTC__001, super cid is not in the 401 ruu's or OTA's

0. deactivate anti- virus/firewall
1. start the RUU.exe
2. put my phone into fastboot mode
3. connect my phone via USB 2.0
4. start the flash progress
then after a few seconds htc_fastboot. exe crashes and the programm stops

Dont start the RUU first. First put the phone in fastboot mode, get the getvar to check if all's in order.
Once you getvar shows, it means the device is connected. After that, try the RUU
If still no luck, use RUU.zip

Im not sure that the portable version will work. Because even in Vmware, i couldnt get the adb drivers to work. Live CD would be a much better option IMO

A live CD is basically an OS running on a USB/CD. Instead of the portable version which runs within the Windows OS, you will boot directly from the USB containing Ubuntu. Nothing will happen to your existing Windows; once you're done with the RUU flashing process, just shut down the computer and unplug the USB
To get it running, download the Ubuntu image and click Download:
http://www.ubuntu.com/download/desktop/
Then, to prepare the bootable USB stick, this link:
unetbootin.net
Download that software. Choose the correct Ubuntu version and create the stick. Once you're done/ have doubts, let me know

Cool. Now, you have to change the boot priority to the USB as first booting option. If you know how to do so, then proceed
If you don't, then there are two ways to depending on the pre-installed OS on your PC
Did your computer come with Windows 8/8.1 pre-installed or did it come with Win7 or older ?

[Q] Bad Flash Or Soft Bricked??

Hey guys, i never really need anyones help but this is annoying me now. My problem is that i have converted my HTC One to the google edition firmware and all was going great. Earlier today i wanted to try the latest MIUI Rom so i downloaded it and flashed it. Everything went smoothly until it came to reboot (i totally wiped phone before i installed MIUI) and now it wont turn on or charge and show only signs of life in the form of fastboot which i can use getvar all to pull my system info. Some fields are blank which arent meant to be. I cannot flash anything as screen wont turn on or even vibrate. Kind of at a loss now and any help will be appreciated.

not positive but the MIUI rom may require a special version custom recovery. did you check that you have the correct recovery before flashing ?

Theirs a MID change tool you use in Twrp
And changing the CID is a simple fastboot command

ah CID will be easy but MID wont as i cant even get to recovery or anything. not even bootloader. I didnt realise MIUI would screw up this bad, or could it be something to do with the 'latest' twrp being too new?

i think he has a lot more to fix than just the misc partition, not sure if this is fixable, i believe the updater-script wrote to hboot partition, and he's unlikely to even be able to "fastboot oem rebootRUU" to fix that,
if by some chance he's able to get to recovery, then he'd have to manually dd all the messed up partitions.
OP, can you upload the updater-script (it's in <nameofrom>zip /META-INF/com/google/android) to pastebin (or zip it and attach it here).

[Q] No SO, Drivers Problems, PLEASE HELP

Hi I'm going crazy right now, I really need some help, here's the history:
Today I bought a htc one m7 from a girl and when she was restoring it I saw that it was with a custom recovery, I didnt care about it becouse anyway I was going to install it some day. After that I went home and started searching some lollipop rom.
Well I downloaded it and copied it to the internal storage, I was ready to flash so I did it.
After flashing the rom it begins to bootloop, so I thougt "ok, it maybe need just a wipe" so I wiped it, as it didnt solved the problem I wiped again but this time with all boxes checked, after that y realized that I was wiping EVERYTHING (It happened before in a nexus 5 and 4).
Ok, I thought f**k it, I'll push the files with adb and problem solved, but when I conected the phone to the pc it has now driver problems, I cant get adb to work, neither fasboot, I installed and uninstalled al drivers I found on the internet, I really dont know what else to do.
If I conect the phone with the pc in fastboot mode in devices manager it says that the usb device ist recognized and something like that there is an error with the number.
And when I conect it in recovery mode it says "one" with the exclamation symbol, I red a lot of posts about how to solve it, but when I force install the drivers nothing happens.
Help me please, I dont know what more to do. And sorry about my english
If you need some information/pictures, just ask for it
Im new with this phone and I have no idea what to do

OK so it's definitely the correct ruu, did you relock your bootloader before flashing it? I just read back and see you did relock bootloader.
What was the error message when it failed?

I get Error 155: Unknown error
If you still have the Unlock_code.bin file that HTC sent you for unlocking the bootloader, flash that again in Fastboot and then install a custom recovery after that process is done, and finally flash a custom ROM to at least get it working again. If you don't have the file then follow the steps on htcdev.com That's my advice that I can give, hopefully it can help
Edit:
I bet the command to flash it would help too, my apologies. It's fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin This is also all assuming that you unlocked it through their dev website. If you didn't, then you probably can go through their dev site to unlock it again.

Error 155 normally is caused by flashing with s-on and unlocked or trying to downgrade firmware with s-on.
It could be due to some outside interference. If you have HTCsync installed it's a good idea to uninstall it.
When you launched the ruu was the device in the bootloader connected with fastbootusb?
What version of windows are you using?
Do you have the latest HTC drivers installed?

Ok so to be sure, I did the whole HTCDev process again. Then I dropped the new .bin file into the fastboot folder, opened up adb, and connected the phone when it was in fastboot mode. I ran fastboot flash unlocktoken Unlock_code.bin only for it to fail ("data transfer failed" it said) and the bootloader froze. What is wrong here?

Hmm. Let me quick boot into my bootloader to quick check something. Did you use the volume buttons to select Fastboot in the bootloader? Also I always run fastboot devices just to make sure it's connected, that may have been an issue. I know it might sound redundant but maybe switch the USB port and change the cord if you have a spare one. I have one that acts up from time to time
Edit:
Did you use the ADB prompt or the Fastboot prompt?

HTC Sync Manager is uninstalled.
Yes the phone was connected via fastboot when I ran the RUU.
I am using Windows 10.
I just installed the drivers provided by you, so lets see if this works...

I used Minimal ADB and Fastboot to do this, and I know it works because I used it to unlock the bootloader on my phone. Only this time it can't send the file to the phone.
And yes I selected "Fastboot" in the bootloader menu and when I plug it into the computer it says "Fastboot USB" on the screen.

Keeps on failing everytime I try to unlock the bootloader
It says something like (data transfer failure-too many links) or whatever.

I took a look at some other threads with people getting that error and they all said they simply switched USB ports, or if you have USB 3.0 to switch it to USB 2.0

Dude! Thanks! I just plugged the phone into the back USB ports on my PC and it successfully unlocked the phone's bootloader! Thanks!
Although that means my PC's front USB ports are screwed up...

This would also explain the error with your ruu. Should have thought to mention about usb ports.
Your front ports are probably USB1.0 either that or connected to the mainboard through some type of hub. Both will cause problems with fastboot.
