Stuck on "recovery rooting" after flashing stock firmware. - T-Mobile Galaxy Note 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

My note 4 been having problems with bootloops and random freezes, so i tired to back to stock but when i turned it off and pulled out the battery and tried to turn it on it would go in a bootloop. i went into download mode and odin flashed "N910TUVU1COG2" i got this from sammobile. it would start saying in the top left corner "recovery booting..." in blue, then it would shut off and vibrate then do the same thing again. i put on the charger and left it to do its thing for the past 30 mins hoping it would fix it self but nothing is happening. i tried odin flashing it three times and it would say "PASS" and it would still be stuck in the bootloop.

[Q] ROM flashing keeps failing need help..

EDIT: Can be closed, fixed it by going into recovery and wiping data/cache, never had to do that before in other flashes so didn't know it was needed
Hi guys,
first of all I'm not another first time flasher, I already succesfully put 4 other roms on my galaxy s but now I don't know what to do..
I came from jm5 and wanted to upgrade to jm8 today so I back upped everything and started the process, I thought I'd best follow richthoven's instructions so I first flashed the pit file + repartition, and then after pass, removed battery, back to download mode and put pda, modem, csc etc like always and started flashing.
Now my problem is from what I remember after the final reboot before odin sais pass the s logo dissapears and the phone boots into touchwiz, but now after the s logo dissappeared, my screen just stays black and after a minute or two odin sais passed, but there's nothing on my screen, and even after disconnecting and removing battery and try to boot it hangs on the s logo for a few minutes then a black screen with the backlight buttons highlighted.
Any help here would be greatly appreciated!
PS: I already tried the flashing procedure twice, same result

[Solved] GT-N7000 Soft Bricked. Only Download Mode Available

Hello,
I have a GT-N7000 which I am only able to access via download mode. Recovery mode does not work at all.
Odin 3.09 runs the following successfully:
1. Flashing a stock rom: N7000JPLSB_N7000OJPLSB_N7000XXLSO_HOME.tar.md5
2. Flashing a pit file: Q1_20110914_16GB.pit
3. Flashing a safe kernel: PhilZ-cwm6-JPLSB-UAE-4.89.4.tar.md5
These steps however have not solved the problem.
I have read that I need to flash a bootloader, but I don't know how to do that.
Any help would be highly appreciated.

On a successful kernel flash, enter into recovery mode and flash raw kernel and its corresponding rom.
Unfortunately recovery does not work at all. The phone reboots when I attempt to enter recovery.

My phone has this thing where upon pressing the buttons for recovery, it will show the Samsung Galaxy Note screen twice before entering recovery. That means pressing the buttons until it finishes showing twice, or it will just reboots normally. Did you try it?
What I tried now was flashing the stock rom again. After Odin successfully flashed the rom, it went into a boot loop that lasted approximately 20 minutes, but I just let it loop without disturbing it. Eventually it stopped and switched itself off.
I tried to enter recovery and and it rebooted a few times as you mentioned, but eventually I now see the stock Recovery screen, but the Android is on his back with the red triangle on his chest.
I then performed a factory reset.
Phone reboots, I see the Samsung logo, I hear the jingle and then the phone switches off.
Edit:
Switch phone on: See message Android is upgrading. Reaches 33 of 73 apps and phone switches off.
Switch on again: Android is upgrading 1 of 41. Completes. Switches off.
Switch on again: See setup screen. Switches off.
Switch on again: Same thing.
Recovery still broken and can't setup phone as it switches itself off.

You need the stock recovery. Flash your rom in, reboot to stock recovery, then update with the corresponding Philz for your phone. If it works you should reboot and see philz recovery and your rom is unusable. Just flash raw kernel and any other rom after that
So all the random reboots were caused by a faulty battery.
I bought a new battery, followed steps 1,2 and 3 in my original post and my phone is working perfectly again.

Phone stuck at boot, continuously restarts... even after flashing it several times

Hi! Couple days ago, my phone just turned off on its own. I couldn't turn it on, nor could I charge it. Nothing happened when I connect the charger. I didn't touch it for a day or two and then when I tried to turn it on, it tried to boot up, but it just vibrated shortly and only showed initial Samsung logo and then it restarted. That loop of showing only the logo and restarting then happens continuously. I can't turn off the phone using the power button, I have to pull out the battery. When I re-insert the battery, phone automatically turns on, shows the logo and then restarst again and again and again...
I have found some suggestions to try to flash the phone with custom ROM. I tried flashing CyanogenMod using Odin. Odin displays the message that everything went OK, but phone again just boots up to the Samsung logo and then restarts continuously. After that, I have tried several other ROMs using several versions of each. Same thing happens. Odin says that process went OK, but phone again won't boot.
Does anyone have any suggestions what else should I try?
Maybe try to flash all stock files via Odin?
I tried that, too, but same thing happens. Anyway, it looks like it might be some hardware problem. I took the phone to the repair shop and they also tried installing stock and custom roms, but the phone just won't start. They said it's probably some falty hardware that's causing the problem.
Try to turn it on plugged to charger.
Something similar happened to my phone so I followed this guide, then did a recovery of my back up
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2748327
janota241, same thing happens when it's on charger, after Samsung logo, it turns off and then it turns on, then it turns off at Samsung logo and so on and so on...
IsReal8a, I tried that guide, but I can't access recovery mode, though I can access download mode. When I try to access recovery mode, phone just get stuck at Samsung logo for about minute or two and then it turns itself off.
I have the exact same issue as you do.
Maybe you can replace the battery, i just suggest
*sorry for my bad english

Samsung Galaxy Tab GT-P1000 not booting only turning on camera Flash

I tried to do stock rom (P1000XWJQB8_P1000DBTJQ1_DBT) with pit (gt-p1000_mr.pit) with ODIN. During the flashing process it stuck somewhere on (hidden) and after some time it shows fail. But device is stuck on downloading screen and shows half process bar and I wait for hour and so but device is still stuck on the same. So, I decided to turn off and start the device again and I did. But after turning off when i tried to start device again it wont start I mean there is no screen booting happening just back camera flash every time i tried to power on the device or tried to charge it or connect it to USB. Even ODIN or Hemidell is not detecting it anymore.
Please help me.......

Galaxy note 8 (sm-950u1) stuck in boot loop

Good afternoon folks, I'm having a very big problem. Yesterday I was using my phone listening to music, I then received a text message in a group text. I went to pull down the notification center but my touch screen wasn't responding. I thought it was a one off but tried to open my phone and nothing was responding to my touch. I then did a reset (vol dnw+power) which restarted the phone but still the touch screen was unresponsive. Reset phone again now here I am in the infinite boot loop. It starts to galaxy note 8 screen and stays for about 30 sec then goes to recovery mode but will lock up and restart this process over again. I've tried to manually boot into recovery mode but it doesn't work. I'm able to boot to download mode where I've tried flashing with stock firmware but after flashing is restart back to the boot loop. Note 8 hasn't been flashed with anything custom before so this thing is a big mystery for me. Any help would be greatful. Thanks in advance

Make sure you flash the correct firmware for your model. What is SM-950u1 anyway?? You should also use the latest Odin 3.13.1 or higher. Odin lower than that is giving problems with Oreo firmware. Good luck. LJ
