does lg optimus x2 compatible with ipod touch wall charger rated 5.1V 1A or samsung android charger series with 5.1v 750mah?
please share volt and ampere rate on original charger or share your experience using wall charger other than original
thx
original charger: 4.8V/1A
with one charger that puts out 5.3V/1A the touchscreen starts to act weirdly
The charger (from a motorola RAZR II V8) I mainly use puts out 5V/850mA

Hi,
My mom has the old original 1.0A charger for the Note 1 and its started to stamming at charging so I wanted to order her a new one.
I'm using the new 2.0A for Galaxy S3/4 on my xperia Z and it charges up quick and works great. Although the original charger is 1.5A so it might "use" to the quick high Ahmp charging..
Is the Note 1 able to suck up 2A charge just like that? I've searched up a lil and saw that it might needs a profit kernel for that..
She has an old 4.0 ROM (probably over 1 year old), that mostly doesn't support it if its needed..
If so what ROM / Kernel can you reccomend that might fits it?
Any info you got about this could help.
Also if I'm already here, could you please reccomend of a new ROM (4.1/4.2 or anything higher than 4.0 ) that is stable enough for daily use?
Thanks thanks thanks ahead!! appreciate all your answers!
Yarden.
The Note isn't able to suck 1A IIRC, only through hacks. Still, the device charges pretty fast with a standard charger, just make sure it's being detected as a AC charger and not a USB charger.
Hi all,
I think my original xiaomi Type C cable is somehow partially spoiled
Recently I'm facing charging slow with the quick charge 3.0 charger they provided and the cable they provided but not in my Xiaomi 10k QC2.0 powerbank + my newly bought Type C cable (as they can enter fast charging mode if according to the charging time and Ampere apps)
Since that newly bought type C cable can't compatible with the charger (I dunno why, the cable itself is USB 3.0 tho, but when try to use the cable at the charger and charge the phone it just can't be charge) so I'm tested the xiaomi type c cable with the powerbank
And yeap the result is also charging very slow :/
But still it's faster than when used in charger, when in the charger the charging rate show in Ampere rate is 250mA max and when in powerbank is 500mA.
But in that newly bought type C cable can be reach up to 2000mA when ur phone is already nearly reach 80%
I think maybe the resistor inside that xiaomi cable is about to burn since i can feel very hot on the type C port when charging even if used with powerbank; while that newly bought type C cable no such issue
As also when using the xiaomi qc 3.0 charger and that original xiaomi type c cable when they are about to enter quick charge mode the charger somehow straight cut off the power
So guys i should buy a completely new QC 3.0 charger (ofc other brand) or just buy the cable? Since the charger to powerbank is still using fast charging (the powerbank itself provided two way fast charging) if according to the time taken (3 to 4 hours charge from one light to four light max) so i think the charger itself is no problem.
I'd buy a new cable. I did, actually, as my phone (any phone actually) wasn't recognized on any pc with the original cable (I spent hours thinking I had bricked my phone but it was just a cable - thanks xiaomi).
Plus, cables are cheap.
Even better, let the store you bought it from know and maybe get a refund. I did

Ya later night (Malaysia now is still afternoon) I'll go buy Anker cable, if their cable is compatible with the Xiaomi QC 3.0 charger then I'll buy two (one for powerbank one for charger), if not I'll buy the Anker QC 3.0 charger also
Got myself two Anker Type C cable
Very thick and heavy, the tips also very big
But feel great
And 6ft usb c that supports supercharge?
I've Ankey 1 USB Quick Charge 3.0 and working fine on my MAte 10 Pro with Waze started. Mobile charging (but slower than original charger it's logical regarding Quick charge 3.0).

Is what I found on Amazon for the best price at the time. Yes the car charger does Super Charge.
You need 5A Charger and cable for the supercharge (or at least something near)
Does 2.4A work, too.? Of course with slower charging rates but using the whole 2.4A? Want to use it with a supercharge cable.

Yes. It will work, I currently use an Anker charger. It's just a bit slower than Supercharge.

Has anyone found an adaptor that allows 3.5mm jack for audio and USB C for charging that supports fast charging at all? Even 2.4a would be ok. I have found one online from flosmall that claims 2a, but I don't know if that's really enough. I regularly run Waze and listen to podcasts (downloaded) or Spotify (streaming) and the adaptor I got off eBay charges really, really slow. I also need a new car charger, so the responses in this thread have already been helpful on that front.
You can buy an original Huwaei Car Charger with SuperCharge support at http://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/qjQJqba
I am asking about a 6ft usb cable that support supercharge, I have no idea why everyone talking about Qualcomm charger, this is not a Samsung thread smh
https://www.amazon.es/Acocobuy-Carg...8&qid=1521544897&sr=8-11&keywords=cargador+5a
This one has 2.4a and Supercharge 3.0
I got myself original Huawei AP38 car charger and it came with cable in package. Works absolutely like a charm and it is well worth the money. No difference from wall charger in terms of charging speed
There are plenty usb cables that work with supercharge just look for one that supports 5A current. I have a very long one close to 2m/6ft, works very well with huawei car charger and normal charger
The thing with supercharge and the cables is that most chargin technologies require a maximum of 2 or 3A. Up to 3A is a usb standard so all usb cables support that. A higher current is usually never needed because standard usb protocols dont support it. 5A current requires a different structure of the cable. And since supercharge uses up to 5A current we need to get special cables.

$7.50 USD and it works fine as a Super Charger - just need to make sure the cable is rated to 5A - https://www.tomtop.com/p-k6492.html...878GgH-bDYvgzzFhq5JIYDMB9v0dEw8YaAucfEALw_wcB
Hello everybody and happy new year!
My original super fast charger which came with the phone won't magnetically charge my note 20 ultra
with the charging cable which I used with my Samsung note 8. I already ordered new pd 60w quality cables+new pd magnetic adapters.
Since I did not find any information -Do I have to buy new magnetic tips (which are stuck in the phone) or can I use the same tip which I used with my note 8? Are there any differences between tips?
Thanks for your help.
Eran
P.S - I am using my Samsung note 8 charger with the magnetic cable adapter in the mean time. The only problem is the slower charge....
If the previous setup didn't work for the new phone, you'll need the new tips too, most likely.
However, especially at the 25W fast charging speeds of the phone, I'd recommend you steer far, far away from magnetic chargers. Sure, it sounds like a nice idea, reducing the stress on the USB port, easy tear-away charging, and so on, but since most of these chargers are incredibly low quality, with bad contacts, you can expect a lot of loss, which manifests in the shape of heat. I remember with my Note8 I did the same, and the phone would get uncomfortably hot - and that was only 15W. Imagine what 25W would do.
The only magnetic chargers I trust are the ones specifically made and tested for the device - e.g. Apple's (old) MagSafe on MacBooks. And even those had heating issues.

The super faster charger doesnt play nice with alot devices iv come to find. I had an issue using a 2 in 1 charger/ aux adapter. The charger kept connecting and disconnecting. It seems to be some thing special to that brick specifically. Especially since its a 45w charger and I tried a ravpower 45w charger and it did not super fast charge my phone. Soo, yea. Super fast charging will only happen by way of samsungs official charger... which doesnt like alot other add-on devices (dongles, magnetic tips, ect).
