Hi,
Is anyone else having the issue where after a few minutes of following directions in Google Maps, the whole interface reloads and the android buttons are missing.
Disconnecting and reconnecting fixes the problem, but it's rather frustrating.

No in my car+phone!
As AA works sending a second screen to the screen of the car encoded as H264 video, my assumption is that the problem is in your PHONE. I feel you have low memory... try with another device or upgrade to another ROM (or uninstall some Apps).

Possibly... but upon reloading the buttons disappear...surely AA should load the buttons up after it crashes. I have an S6 with 3GB ram... :|

Just wanted to throw this out here in case anybody else runs into this problem. I just purchased a bt keyboard, worked fine for a few days, then suddenly my tab started to freeze, even after rebooting. System panel would show full cpu usage, and it took minutes to simply scroll, but the time and charging indicator worked in real time. After some searching I found some troubles the tab had with bluetooth devices. To the point, I found that after opening pandora for the first time since I had the keyboard that the bt media setting was enabled, turned that off, rebooted, and its been at least 5 hours and haven't had a problem since, usually only took a few minutes to freeze after powering up. As a side note, I'm sure other apps/settings may cause the same problem.

I use(d) bluetooth headset and my freezing problem was with any and all music players. I have Pandora installed, but is it only the setting in pandora that's the problem or all music players?
It could be any apps really. For me it was pandora, I'm using poweramp for my music and I know that has bt disabled. I would just check any media apps for bt settings.
From the Captivate
Thanks
I noticed that the 'Bluetooth' was the cause of my GT-P1000 freezing issues.
But I didn't know that some apss could also cause this!
I will try to uninstall Pandora and see if the BT issues has been resolved.
It's annoying coz I often turn the BT ON coz I used it as my primary phone number
So since you changed the BT setting in Pandora, have you had any freezing issue at all? My device started freezing like mad and I couldn't for the life of me figure out what it was. I first deleted unnecessary apps, no effect. Then I formatted the memory, followed by a factory reset when the format didn't work. The problem persisted! Two constants in the equation are the presence of Pandora (which I did not realize uad a BT setting) and my Apple Bluetooth keyboard. I finally put two and two together that it had to do with my keyboard, so now I'm a bit wary of even pairing it again lest I smash my Tab against the desk in a fit of freeze induced anger.
So I am interested to know if yoir correction of the Pandora setting seems to be a permanemt resolution.
Notice the typos above? That's because I'm not using my Bluetooth keyboard. Haha

Helps alot, thanks.
Yep. Pandora. As soon as got my new Jawbone ICON Hero bt earpiece I decided to try it with my media players. with XiaaLive it was fine. Audio was nice and clear. Starting and stopping the app was smooth. However, when I tried Pandora, audio was fine and starting the app was fine. But every time I tried quieting the app my US T-Mo Galaxy Tab would get super slow. Everything was going in slow motion. Folders would take 20 to 30 seconds to open. Even pressing the Power button took about 15 seconds to show the "Shut Down" screen.
After a reboot, everything was fine again. And I left it alone until the next day when I tried it again. And sure enough. Upon quitting the Pandora app everything got really really slow again.
So, using Pandora and a BT device seems to be the issue.
I have a pair of bluetooth earbuds that I use when I'm on the go, and ever since I got my new turbo, they have been constantly skipping and stuttering when I try to listen to music. It's totally ridiculous, the devices are only two feet away from each other, at most! Is anyone else having similar issues?

Hmmm, I wonder if it's motion based. I'm sitting in my room listening to it now and it's a lot better. Unfortunately that doesn't really solve my problem, though.

Rixanu - I think you're on to something... I'll give my "story" and hopefully someone a little more savvy than us can help figure it out.
I switched over from the good ole Galaxy Nexus about a month ago. No major complaints on the Turbo yet as we await Lollipop, with the exception of this Bluetooth issue. I have the Bluetooth paired in the car, and a set of headphones - music and everything worked perfectly on the GNex through the Bluetooth. Now, primarily, it's often choppy (mustic anyway) - for reference, when listening to music I listen via Google Play (all access or whatever they call it now). I figured the choppiness was related to the fact that the music was being streamed since most wasn't downloaded yet, but after very limited experimenting, I believe it must have to do with the physical Bluetooth radio. I had noticed in the past that when the music streams perfectly, a lot of times if I pick it up to check an email, text, etc., it becomes choppy, but thought that was strange since the RAM should be more than sufficient to multitask without choppiness. On my way home from a friend's, I played around and stuck my hand over various parts of the back of the phone, and would press the phone against my pant, etc., and could effectively interfere completely with the connection such that it would be only silent, and not even choppy. Yet, while the music wasn't playing, the track continued to playback on the device and when the music would pick up after I moved the phone, it would be 10 seconds or whatever later as if it had been playing straight through the whole time.
I haven't tested this theory too much yet, but I think combined with your issue, there's certainly something there. Unfortunately, I frequent these parts in order to find answers to these types of issues and don't have the solutions myself.
Do we have lemons, or is this issue prevalent?
I'm happy to provide more info to anyone that can help.
Thanks in advance!
I was having the same problem. It was so bad Bluetooth was completely unusable. I contacted Motorola and they sent me the following steps to try. I worked perfectly. Good luck.
Dear Michael
Thank you for contact Motorola tech support, i send to you the steps you have to follow up to clear the cache for you Driod turbo
Before you do the Wipe cache, please un pair the Blue tooth devices and forget it for the phone, after you do that follow the steps and do the wipe cache.
This will remove any temporary files that may be causing the problem, but will not delete your files or settings.
1. With the phone powered off, press the VOL DOWN KEY for 2-3 seconds then POWER key then release.
2. The device will display different BOOT OPTIONS
3. Use the VOL DOWN Key to SCROLL to Recovery and VOL UP Key to select (I think he meant POWER to select)
Tip: If the device reboots, you may have waited to long to make a selection, you will need to begin the process again.
4. The device will display the Motorola logo and then the Android in distress ( logo with Exclamation mark)
5. Press and hold the VOL UP key for 10-15 seconds. While still holding the VOL UP key tap and release the POWER key
Tip: You can try this step, holding the phone in landscape. If you are stuck on step 6, try a force reboot by pressing the Power key and Vol Down key, and start the process again.
6. The device will display additional menu options (Text will appear in BLUE)
7. Use the VOL DOWN Key to scroll to wipe cache partition and the POWER Key to select this option
8. The device will then perform the partition wipe
9. The device will reboot and start the normal power up sequence
Answer Title: Clear Cache Partition

I think Bluetooth stinks. Poorly implemented, stupid pairing issues, and poor quality. I have had very little success with Bluetooth on any device I have had.

Found a Fix for the Stuttering BT issue. It's the dumb kernel on 5.02 that stutters the playback as soon as screen is off. I used a partial wakelock so the cpu stays active after screen off with this app. It works. No more stuttering. As for speakers that require high sample rate I just switched the cpu governor to performance. It's a workaround but the partial wakelock should work especially on bluetooth headphones. Here's the app's link https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.thedarken.wl&hl=en
Every time I drive away from my house and the phone loses wifi signal, the bluetooth skips really bad during the transition. Once I get far enough away, it usually clears up again. For my situation, it seems the wifi radio is somehow interfering with the bluetooth signal.
I'm about to receive my third warranty replacement for the numerous problems I had with my Note4. Most of the problems are fixable (camera, GPS, etc), but one problem is bad and I don't see a simple solution.
Something seems to be intermittently stealing the focus from my app (I believe). So, if I'm watching YouTube, it randomly pauses because it thinks I've switched apps. If I'm recording video, it randomly stops, because it thinks I've switched apps. If I'm playing a video game, it pauses while I'm playing until 'I return'. If I go to the app-switcher, sometimes it closes randomly before I select which running app to switch to.
I actually bought a new SD card (64GB wasn't really doing it for me, anymore, anyways) but the problem persists. The phone does seem better behaved before all my apps repopulate (although there's not much to do on the phone before the apps are back), so I suspect it's an app, but I haven't heard anything about this sort of problem on any website or forum.
Lastly, the problem may have started around the time of the StageFright patch in August, but a lot of apps also updated around that time.
I'm stock 5.0.1 without root (maybe in the future), although I always disable T-Mobile bloatware like DT_Ignite. Any help or suggestions are appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Thanks - And sorry for the late reply (I don't remember getting a notification about a reply). I'll try your suggestion if the problem comes back.
It appears to be a problem with the Samsung Techwin app for their video cameras. For others, the app would just randomly pop-up during phone use, making the problem easier to diagnose. For me, it would just steal focus.
I uninstalled the app & things are back to normal.

Very cool you found what was giving the problem. I'll remember this fix as well, another tool in the toolbox!
I bought this phone few days ago
And I found that when use Chrome to browser the forum, horizontal black lines suddenly flashed out on the screen and then disappear
The size, number and frequency is random
It also happens in homescreen
Is it hardware problem?
I have installed the Adguard with VPN which runs in the background all the time
Seems to be better if I close it
And I hear noise like "si..se..." if I use earphone, especially in low volume
Is it normal?
Sorry for so many questions
Thank you

Have you tried a reset without restoring your google account?
Try that, if it doesnt do it then it's likely software caused by one of your apps, if not then it's the phone.

Yes, it happens sometimes
But touch still works
I wonder whether some users face the same problem like me
So to start things out my phone was working quite well on Oreo. I kept trying to postpone the update and eventually it auto started the update; without my permission, because I was connected to Wi-Fi after postponing the update about 3 times. Needless to say, immediately after the update my phone started to act what it seems like borked out completely. To further explain my issues ill attach a few screenies as well.
(Issue #1)
The phone is connected to the towers, however even though I can send texts and calls I have no "service" and cant use the internet at all, i.e internet browser, YouTube, Instagram, Pandora, etc... nothing loads at all it will simply say no connection in gray at the bottom of the screen. YouTube just has the circle buffer constantly, Pandora says buffering and will never load, Instagram just says couldn't refresh feed. Google maps will go into offline mode and wont ever reconnect back. Again all of this happens within 20mins or ~3 hours after the phone turns on and only solution is to restart phone. This is also not network related because even under Wi-Fi all issues are still present. Going into airplane mode and turning it on/off does nothing. ONLY a restart or power off/on fixes the issue.
(Issue #2)
Wi-Fi doesn't auto connect even though the option is on.... every-time I have to go into settings and manually click it, not a big problem but why?
Try rebooting into recovery and clearing cache. If that doesn't fix it, try a factory reset.

okay will do! I have also noticed my 3rd issue with the device is YouTube will also randomly just pause, even though it didn't need to buffer or anything like that. its as if I hit the screen to pause it even though I didn't do that.

I've been running Pie since the betas, and am now on CSAA and I don't have any of those issues. Hopefully a factory reset fixes it all for you.
Any update on the issue OP?
I am also on Pie view firmware science and haven't experienced any of those symptoms. For me, only 2 other hiccups where my video on my lock screen somehow flipped upside down randomly and the 2nd i lost my customized notification bar icons via swift installer.
