I have configured my Tilt to connect to my home Wifi network, and I want to leave Wifi running on the Tilt at all times so that I can just connect automatically when I get home.
However when I do this I get annoying notifications every 2 seconds about wireless access points in my vicinity. Is there any way to disable this notification for all networks?
Thanks.....
Goto Sounds & Notifications. You can disable all notifications for "Wireless network detected" event there.
And be ready to have a dead battery by the time you get home.
There should be an option where it says to not show this message again. On the notification**

Thanks, I tried that. However all notification options ('Display message on screen', 'vibrate', etc.) were already disabled for 'Wireless network detected'. However, I still get the notifications when a new network is detected! gar....
Yes, I think the ignore will only ignore until you toggle wifi again, or will only ignore networks which have alrday been dismissed. Anyone know for sure.
In any case, I too find this annoying use AEB+ to map the wifi on/of toggle to a long press on the Contacts softkey, then it is virtually hassle free to turn it on and off.
Try This
Here is a program i made that fixes this problem for the HTC touch pro, let me know if it works on your device.

On my phone I have my voicemail set up to automatically dial my VM PIN. But when I attempt to dial my voicemail from Android auto it keeps asking me to enter my PIN. Is there a way to have it automatically dial the VM PIN? I couldn't find anything in the Android Auto settings. It seems crazy to have to manually type the PIN when the whole purpose of Android Auto is keep the driver from distracted.
Hey,
I'm trying to follow the guide that was referred to a couple of times here for ROG Phone II: https://forum.xda-developers.com/rog-phone-2/how-to/guide-enabling-volte-vowifi-v2-t4028073
But every time I get to the point of using EfsTools.exe, I get "Critical error: Bad command". I've tried several different versions of EfsTools, different USB ports, different cables, changed the Baud Rate in Device Manager, nothing.
I can never get QPST to recognise it as a phone in terms of having a name (e.g. "SM 855 (0)" for ROG PHONE II, so I imagine SM 865P (0) for ROG PHONE III), it just says "(0)". Still it seems EfsTools is picking it up as it uses the right COM port, but get the same bad command error.
ASUSVoLTE does seem to enable the toggles but since I guess the MBN is not designed for it, it won't work, I never get the VoLTE or VoWiFi icons.
(I am on EE UK, if that helps)
Has anyone here had any success?

I had to use the remote port option as it would not detect it via USB.
In the app field just make sure to fill in your PC IP address (both have to be on the same wifi).
All I did to enable VoLTE etc was just to run those 4 lines of setprop commands in an adb shell .. toggle the mobile network off/on and the VoLTE/wifi options appeared in my carrier menu.

Hi,
I been unlocked out my Samsung s10 and to unlock using Samsung account or google account it needs to be connected to wifi or mobile data.
however when it restarted it came on with airplane mode switched on which i cant turn off without entering my password.
I don't even remember setting the password when setting the phone up, always used fingerprint, pattern or pin.
I am having issue when calling (outgoing) to any person over WiFi or LTE. The call won't connect at all but the other person's phone will ring and I won't hear a thing. I have to enter flight mode for few seconds, disable flight mode and then I will be able to make calls again.
What could be the possible issue? This has become a very bothersome and I am suspecting that some users are also unable to reach me at times. I tried resetting the phone, did a network reset, and played with call over WiFi and LTE settings. Nothing seems to fix the issue. Is this a common problem with Vivo devices?
Any work around is appreciated.
TIA.
