Some vendors will start bringing out cases around the time of the international launch. If you look at Chinese reviews, you see that cases are included with the Chinese versions.
Mine come with case.
Gold phone + gold case (not nice color...)
Mate cases already available on Amazon,but these brands are not really famous.
There is one made by Huawei. Got it online here though.

Looks simple but nice as well
I wonder if there is a chance to get some cases from some major producers out there ... At the moment it's a poor choice especially in that "armoured" ones.
For those of you who are trying to get the most protection out of a case, Love Mei has a case for this device.
I got a smart window case with the 128gb I bought, but only used it one day. Now am using an ultra thin tpu transparent case I bought from Aliexpress. I bought another from Amazon that was a little thicker, but prefer the one from Aliexpress. I am not big on using cases. A clear screen protector was already pre-installed, but looking for a full coverage tempered glass. I ordered one from Aliexpress, but still hasn't delivered.

The transparent clear case that a lot of sellers sell is not enough. It's too loose and the lip over the screen isn't enough. I dropped mine IN THE CASE and still put two dents in the bottom of the phone by the speaker. I would recommend something else. I bought this one as well and it seems to be good.

spigen hard cases are awesome, although i switched to a soft TPU case for my mate 8 now, since my last spigen hard case left some aberrations / scratches on the sides of my previous Nexus 5 after years of taking it off and putting it back on...
Guys there are allot of cases in China, you should check out AliExpress (Chinese Amazon). They ship worldwide and it's cheap.

Those are pouches, the case he is talking about is always on his phone.
There are a few cases on the AT&T website now. There is the Body Glove case that doesn't have cutouts for the buttons. It's ashame since I have the Body Glove case on my Capitivate and it's perfect.

The incipio looks nice. Wonder if the local AT&T store has it yet so if I don't like it I can return it.
the incipio case is the one i have... its ok, if the sides came up over the top edge a little more it would protect the screen but i suppose it would also change the feel of the phone substantially. Additionally the camera button is awkward to use with the case on. That said, it removes easily (but wont fall off) and appears to do an adequate job of protecting the back.
For people with the Incipio cases, does it cover the front at all? I'm looking to get the InvisibleShield too an am worried it may cause issues with how it fits.
The Incipio case is nice, but it does not cover the display at all. From past experience with InvisibleShield, assuming it only covers the glass on the display, the two should work fine together.

Im returning mine. The fitment is sub par... you can see the gap by just looking into the opening for the power button.
I'm gonna hold out for a good case. I'm waiting on Speck, Otterbox, or a Case Mate Tough case to provide a good quality and protective case.
focus case
Im having the same problem finding a good focus case. I'm currently waiting on my replacement phone to come in because my first one already got dropped and busted. It fell flat on its face no more that two feet off the side of my couch and the glass screen cracked in half. I was leaning towards the incipio case but im thinking it really needs to protect the screen, and i dont think a screen shield would do anything to help break the impact of a fall.
It just blows that of the few cases that are out there, most are out of stock / not available yet, and even more are just crappy cases.
I just got my Incipio Feather case. I like it, though I am also ordering a screen protector.
Honestly, i would like to know who makes some of these ridiculous decisions. Who decided to go to market with these 3 cases for a new phone, which is one of ATT's flag ships for a brand new OS. One is pretty much just cosmetic and as many have said, fits poorly. The second is practically a joke, which causes nothing but problems with the hardware keys. And the third is actually pretty nice, except for the fact that it's red! and not even a true red, but a "verges on the edge of pink" red. not that there aren't people who like red or whatever shade of red the case happens to be - i'm sure there are; however, if the case had been black or dark gray, it would've sold far more units instead of still being on the shelf in every store (at least where i live, anyways.)

GREAT source for pictures on how these Series S-line look on the Nexus 7. I ordered the X series, which I think covers the buttons.
Found another clear X series installed on a I/O unit;
Borrowed me some ebay pictures of a clear S-line installed on a retail unit;
I have the s-line case on my nexus 7 n its a nice fit. Cutouts are perfectly lined up with buttons, speaker hole, charging port, etc. Very thin not bulky at all but thick enough to protect the n7. I would recommend it.

Looks nice. I will pick one up. Nice too as you do,nt have to worry about setting the device face down, getting the back greasy (reading while eating ) or having to look like an old person with all these "folio" cases.

didnt like it, i had the spiegen case for the 5x and it was better.
the rubber feels too soft , not as firm as the 5x version.

I wish to build a 3D Printed Case for my Honor 7X, Where can I get the exact dimensions? I am talking about the radius of different curves and heights of buttons and camera protrusion in the back.
There is a long way that I know, calculating all the dimension using precision tools or scan the device in the scanner and use it as reference but both these methods have high error rates and time consuming.

I am looking to join the Honor 7x/ Mate SE ranks in the next few weeks and was looking to find a vertical holster case for it, has anyone had any luck searching for them? I prefer keeping it out of my pocket and like it on my hip and the generic leather ones are really not that easy to use, unless someone has had some good luck with them with a case on the phone. Do not need a lot of protection but something on the phone would make me feel better.
Any ideas, Amazon, Bing, and Google have all turned up nothing except the generic leather ones.

Looking for a case for my Mate SE I found THIS on Ali Express, it looks very protective with a silicone sleeve and a plastic cover, unfortunately they do not accept Pay Pal and I'm a bit apprehensive about leaving my card info on a chinese website.

It feels thicker all over and it seems to be a bit too bulky on the edges to use with a NILLKIN CP+MAX 3D Tempered Glass. It lifted one edge of my screen protector.
Second problem is that it's not exactly the same height as the screen protector. It doesn't feel good using gestures.

Nice case, but still a lot thicker than the TPU case that came with my Mi 8. Fits nice around the Nillkin CP+MAX, but is still a bit higher. After 3 days of use my thumb could't take it anymore.
All original Xiaomi cases I found on Aliexpress weren't the tpu case delivered with the Mi 8. These are all so called "Liquid Silicone" cases that look like some kind of hard cover, or at least harder than TPU, with some kind of padding glued to the inside.
Any other suggestions for a case as thin as possible, just like the original tpu case?

According to some reviews it does not cover the screen.
I can tell more in abour 5-7 weeks.
Try super case . Search it on AliExpress . It cost 11$ . Best case I ever had for mi8. .
The Nilkin clear case is nice. It's not the same. It has ridges down the side for grip and a few other details. It is a bit it thinner and fits more snugly. I prefer it and it's pretty cheap on AliExpress
The cheap Kisscase from Aliexpress fits nice around my tempered glass.
It is a bit thicker and there is a seam round the case that you can feel.
For the price, its quite good.

You mean the Supcase? That's TPU+PC
