I have been using some custom rom's around here, Doc's and some Darky's and they were perfectly fine.
Some days ago, I started the SGS Tools application, and got to the "Secret codes".
I was just curious about it, and I got into the "Touch key firmware version"
So there was 2 options, to upgrade the Touch key, or the touch screen.
I pressed the touch key, and then the screen said "PASS" and boom !
The touch keys stopped working.
I tried everything, wipe all, flashing back to 2.1, then back to Darky's, and Darky's Odin. Nothing is working.
It's a driver problem as it seems, can anyone, anyone please help me?

I came across a thread in another forum that discussed this touch key problem while I was trying to flash Darky's 9.2. You will need to flash to a stock rom. While in stock, go to your dialer and type the following:
*#*#2663#*#*
Then click Touch key FW update.
The touch keys become unresponsive if you try to update the firmware after a kernel change other than stock. Hope this helps.

Hey mate.
Thanks alot! but it doesnt work.
I flashed about 3 rom's. 2.1 rom, original from my country 2.2 rom,
and allways did fw update, but none working.
What can I do?!?
Did you do a complete clean install of your stock rom? What I mean by that is you wipe data/factory reset before and after you flashed your phone's stock rom. As the guide I linked utilized a carrier stock 2.2 rom, try flashing the carrier stock 2.2 for your phone. Wipe data/factory reset in recovery mode, and try the firmware update again via dialer *#*#2663#*#* and select "Touch key FW update" . Reboot your phone.
I have the Bell Mobility I9000M model, as the guide is intended for, but it should work on the international version as well (I'm assuming you are from Asia or Europe?)
Hopefully your touch key issue will get resolved, if not by me, then someone else with more expertise in this forum.

Lot's here got this problem, please if someone know's how to fix the problem, please help us all. I tried all, I tried any 2.1,2.2,2.3 rom out there, the JM9 [that shouldve fixed my problem] but non helps.
I finally managed to solve the issue by reflashing to a stock 2.2.1 and using the ##code thingy.

The ROM in question was: I9000UGJH2
Sorry, I had to get home to look this up as I only used this ROM to solve the issue and went straight back to Darky 9.3.

Ditto, I had the same problem, bought the phone from a guy and it already had a custom firmware on it. I screwed up the menu and back keys by upgrading the touch key firmware.
I eventually found this thread, upgraded (or rather rolled back) to the original firmware (in my case I9000UGJL2) and re-applied the touch keys firmware upgrade and voila now my keys work again after a month or two of pulling hair.

After a painstakingly long search (upwards of 5 hours, gee thanks SOPA) I finally got ahold of original firmware, flashed and followed the post, worked great Thx! BTW this was for a Canadian Bell GT-I9000M, which I flashed to KC1 to get to work if anybody has similar original firmware finding issues, (took a few trial and errors)

im having HTC ONE US -dev edition 32gb,currently using Viperone 2.7.0 version ,with latest firmware of 4.3 android and Hboot 1.55.
i noticed that the auto flash is not working in camera,when i try to take photo in dark.if i select flash on than i get the flash.
so i question is whether the issue is software or hardware problem?i searched various threads related to ONE camera didnt get any help.i flashed both insertcoin ,viperone roms and also checked with google's stock camera ,same issue present.very rarely sometime i get auto flash .i dont know the reason.

OK, I haven't seen this specific problem elsewhere though I've searched a lot, so I hope someone can help me...
I want to restore my intl HTC One M7 to stock Sense. I'm not S-Off because of H-BOOT 1.57 but I've restored it with the Stock Guru Reset ROM. At first everything fine, and the phone completes a minor update with no problems. However, when the update for 4.4.2 comes, the phone cannot start after the update is installed. It boots up, then the screen turns pink for a while. Then the HTC screen with the Beats logo af the bottom comes up, but the colors are distorted - and then the phone stalls. Only option is to flash a new custom recovery and ROM. The phone is the M8 build of Cyanogenmod with no problems whatsoever, so there doesn't seem to be any problems with the phone as such - but, I can't get Sense to work.
The same thing happens every time, no matter which ROM or recovery I'm coming from. Does anyone have any idea what's causing this?

I have a Sprint HTC One which is having serious issues. It will boot to the lockscreen but when I unlock the screen all it shows is the HTC logo on white background, then a little while later it will reboot. I have done an RUU flash yet it is still the same. I have flashed the stock 5.05.651.2 ROM yet the phone remains in the same condition. Please can anyone help?

OK. There's some improvement. I flashed CM11 Nightly with GAPPS and it booted. However it says Baseband Unknown and restarts randomly. I have flashed 1.01.20.0904_2_5.05.651.2_radio.zip from TWRP recovery but still same issue. Can anyone help here please, maybe some other way I can flash the radio? Perhaps the baseband has been the issue all along. I really need help with this; at my wit's end...

Update: I ran the new 5.0.2 RUU and it boots fine and phone works ok, but still no baseband/IMEI/MEID. I have flashed a radio in recovery but still same issue; no baseband/IMEI/MEID. Any help? Anyone?
hi there! my Current rom is JB 4.2 after flashing any roms that 4.4 and higher my menu and back button dont work i tried a lot of rom but only JB 4.2 works i think theres a problem with my phone and im hoping that you can help me! im so problematic in the past few days. thank you very much. sprry for my english.
Hello, had the same problem yestarday, my phone is bricked with boot loop and no download mode. Installed Cyanogen, user about 2 hours, then installed google apps, phone switched off at some stage. Now during booting both menu and back button are blinking fast. I'm wondering if it's hardware problem, or software signaling for kernel panic, like linux do with num-lock and capslock diodes.
