Root method - Kazam Tornado 348

So I've read all threads in 438's section and found many names I'm not used to.
Which one is truly working with this device? Friend has one and today we tried iRoot Mobile, Towelroot (official) and it didn't work.
Will KingoRoot Mobile work? Or better try it's PC app? Or iRoot PC version?

SM-G730A Root that works

Trying to find root for my new phone wasn't as hard as I initially though after finding there isn't any available on this forum (which is odd)
Well I found this 1 click root method, tested and it works great.
http://www.andromods.com/root-unlock/sm-g730a-att-galaxy-s3-mini-rooted-latest-update.html
I have verified with root checker basic that root access is granted and it installed SuperSU.
The link to download the root program is http://www.kingoapp.com/android-root.htm
Next I will be installing CWM then Cyanogen11..lets hope this works
Neither CWM and TWRP work for this phone..SO no way to easily install Cyanogenmod11..Well suppose will have to just be 'happy' with the stock fodder

I have been following this forum since I got this phone right when it came out in september. And I did a basic search and found the root here:ROOT G730A
I guess some people can't handle a simple search function.

I don't see how this would root anything. Just some mumbo-jumbo about stuff you can do on a non-rooted device without the same mumbo-jumbo.
Maybe you would look at the youtube video showing one click root button on pc programme.

I think He means this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbRRi7TOosg
EDIT: Ok, just tried it. NOT WORKS. It says that the root failed. Tried 3 times and I get the same thing.
Did you install usb drivers correctly maybe needs admin privileges on start up.
Root genius is another one on youtube
No z3 compact with me too test at min

Wuzza? Is that vid for real?!
If not, talk about false advertising.
"maybe needs admin privileges on start up." - nope, it does not.
Root does not work with this soft, maybe it was for an older firmware, but TBH, it looks like a nice video montage, but nothing really happened (maybe no phone was connected either).
No bother ill just sell phone need root and couldn't be bothered waiting for one bypassing bootloader thx for checking

This is my first post, and I joined specifically to share this. It took me many hours of searching and trial and error to get my phone rooted, so I'm taking the risk of being called a shill to make this post. I hope it helps someone.
I was able to use Wondershare MobileGo to root my Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 on Lollipop version OC1 (NOT OF1).
At first the only root option that worked for me was installing the Kingroot APK. This did give me root, but only through Kingroot, not SuperSU. Naturally I wanted to use SuperSU, so this is what I did:
1. Installed MobileGo.
2. Clicked on “One-Click root”
3. MobileGo said it has gained root access however, SuperSU still would not work.
4. I then uninstalled KingRoot and ran MobileGo root.
5. Presto, it gave me root and SuperSU now works!
6. Uninstalled MobileGo
7. Still have root
There were a couple of phone reboots mixed in there, but that's the general idea. Clearly this doesn't work for everyone, but it was the ticket for me. YMMV.

Successfully rooted 20.1.A.2.19 KitKat 4.4.2 with Root Genius!

Hi everyone! Yesterday I updated my new Sony E1 phone (D2005) to the latest firmware 20.1.A.2.19 with KitKat 4.4.2, and tried to root it with Root Genius 2.2.6: it worked! I just had to install first the ADB drivers shipped with FlashTool and then used Root Genius to root the device. It was as simple as that! I'd like to know if it was just me being lucky or this procedure can be applied to every E1.
Hello Atanor7,
thank you for information. I'll try this asap.
Do you flash a new rom or upgraded from previous one?
Did you remove Genius after boot? Don't install Genius too much bloatwares?
I upgraded from stock firmware via PC Companion (the phone is brand new, purchased yesterday, 70 euros!), then used Genius to root. It's a Windows program, so you have to install nothing on your device, just the ADB drivers on your PC (I used a VM to install so bloatware wasn't an issue for me). After rooting, Genius automatically installs Kinguser to manage root permissions.

As boatware, I spoke about Kinguser, supposed to be replaced by Supersu
another question: do you kept your settings after upgrade (apps, screens, sms, calls, wifi points, bt devices, ...)?
I can't tell you about that, the phone was new so didn't have any personalization yet, the only settings I made (WiFi, couple of apps) were kept.
Do you think I should replace Kinguser with SuperSU?
Ok, after reading about how KingUser could be a "tricky" app I switched to SuperSU: the "SuperSU-me" app from the store did the job quick and flawlessly. Thank you for your advice

Install this app from the Play Store: "Super-Sume" and run it. Hit the button and... it does it all, wipes Kinguser and replaces it with SuperSU, works like a charm!
Thank you for your advice Atanor7, I think I am late for that since I tried to use Super-Sume to replace Kinguser app but it didn't work on my case.
It's good to know that it worked on yours because next time if I reflash my phone I will try to use Super-Sume again.
in my case, I went for old fashion root after unsuccessful attempts on using Super-Sume, I flashed 20.1.A.29 then flashed back the kernel and root with towelroot then flashed back 20.1.A.29 kernel after rooted.

Asus Memo 7 K013 - How do I Root?

I have an Asus Memo 7 K013 and I'm trying to "game" with it by using an iPega 9023. From what I understand, even in the manual, I need to root the device so that I can map the on screen controls to the buttons on the iPega 9023.
How do I root?
Just a bit more information...I've opened the Developer Options and clicked the check box beside USB Debugging.
I've tried,
RootZenFone-1.4.6.4r.apk
Towelroot v1.0
iRoot v2.2.2
iRoot v1.0
vRoot v1.7.8
KingoRoot
Absolutely NO LUCK with any of these.
Reset my Asus Memo 7 and tried KingoRoot. Worked! Root Successful!

I was having the same issue as you. I'm on 5.0 and can't find a way to root. I tried everything on your list also. Were you successful with the Windows or apk version of Kingoroot?

The apk worked for me.
There seems to be at least 2 versions of RootZenFone-1.4.6r.apk
I tried the one here: http://www.asuszenfoneblog.com/2014/10/download-rootzenfone-1464r-apk.html and it did not root my tablet.
This one did. http://onhax.net/root-unroot-asus-zenfone/

I have done it several times. After achieving root with King Root and successfully installing TWRP I chose to remove Kingroot. It worked well but some have said it is a bit uncertain whether or not the developers of Kingroot are monitoring your phone. I used super-sume to remove Kingroot and replace it with Chainfire's SuperSu.
http://androidmtk.com/replace-kinguser-with-supersu
Another method for removal is to do it manually with the following procedure.
http://www.w0lfdroid.com/2015/05/How-to-Remove-Replace-KingUser-KingRoot-with-SuperSU.html
I had various problems with either of these methods working until I did the swap without my SD card installed.
