Xperia Z1 doesn't work after install ROM - Xperia Z1 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hellow everybody,
Last days I updated my phone to 5.1.1 official, to check nnew state. This update erase my root status, and I had to begin all the root process, and I did:
1) kingroot
2) SuperSU
3) Install dualrecovery (PhilZ touch)
4) Wipe davil, memory, erase internal memory and sdcard
5) Store Download: cm-12.1-20151223-NIGHTLY-honami.zip (292.74 MB) in sdcard
6) Install zip (rom)
7) Reboot phone
And here it's the problem, my phone doesn't reboot.
Without USB connected:
Normal starte: red led blink
If I press power button, power button + volume up, power button + volume down; nothing happen
USB pulgged:
Normal state: nothing happen
Power button pressed: nothing happen
Power + volume up: red led, blue led, any led, and the cycle is repeated
Power + volume down: red led, green led, any led, and the cycle is repeated
Any idea? How can I do?
It seems too bad.... I think a new movil is coming...
Thank you and regards...

Is the boot-loader unlocked? if not then you have to unlock it to install source based ROM like CM .
To restore your phone and unlock the boot-loader :
1. Flash the phone with a stock ROM using flash-tool to restore it.
2. Backup your TA partition in case you want to re-lock it again ( and to restore DRM keys ).
3. Unlock the boot-loader using Sony method (this will wipe all your phone so make sure to backup what you want).
now you have to repeat the steps you did before or flash a kernel that have a recovery builtin and jump to step 5.

I guess bootloader is still alive then.
Power off by keep pressing pw button by few seconds.
(* If it doesn't work, open the usim tray slot and press reset pin for few sec)
And.. enter the flashmode and just flash a stock firmware using flashtool.
I made a foolish mistake before- wiped system partition and reboot without flashing any firmware. However even there's no OS installed, flashmode was worked.

Thank you so much!!!!! I will try today, your news sound great! Anyway, I will post my progress (or not).
Thanks again and regards!
Edit: As Abdu99andy and PielunA says, it was solved using flashtool.
Just add a thing, it was not neccesary to flash a new rom. My device works with the previous rom flashed (CM 12.1).
Thanks!

You must unlock bootloader before installing CM.
Also, Philztouch sometimes cracks the rom. Use TWRP.

PSA: Unlocking Bootloader Before First Boot

Many people when they first get a Nexus device, choose to unlock the bootloader right away to prevent a mandatory data wipe if they unlock it later. Myself and a few others have encountered a bootloop after doing so. If this happens to you, follow these steps.
1) If your phone is stuck in a bootloop, Hold volume up, volume down & the power button until the phone turns off.
2) Wait a minute as trying to turn the phone back on may be unresponsive.
3) Hold volume up, volume down & power to boot into the bootloader.
4) Toggle to recovery and press the power button.
5) When you see the android laying down: press and hold the power button and immediately press volume up. It should open the menu.
6) Choose wipe data/factory reset. When completed the phone will reboot and should boot to the welcome screen
Hope this helps anyone who has this issue!
If I boot once, then reboot to boot loader then unlock will I be ok? I'm getting mine tomorrow.
Thanks for the heads up. I have no doubt that I will run into this issue and these instructions will help.

Yes.
Suppose that's from the update that happens when you first boot, we all know how well OTAs and unlocked bootloaders get along.

This is related to the typical Nexus data partition situation: If the data partition is wiped, the partition needs to be regenerated in some fashion before it can be written to, and this can only be done by booting once into the OS. Recovery and bootloader are unable to complete this operation alone.
If you find yourself in the situation of having wiped both system and data, you must flash any bootable OS version to system & boot via fastboot, and boot into it once, before you will be able to install ROMs via recovery again.
This is very important and I do this with every Nexus device on first boot.

This help, also had to format "data" because i skipped the first boot and installed the recovery right away
Thanks for this post
I booted mine straight to bootloader when it came and unlocked it with no problems. I wonder why this only happens sometimes?
did those of you who got a bootloop have to download/install the OTA when it finally booted?

Have you tried to force shutdown by pushing the red/orange button at the back of your phone?
It is done by pushing the button for 5 seconds, after vibrating 3 times, your phone will completely shutdown as if you have removed your battery.
After that, you may proceed to enter fast boot mode and reflash your desired .ftf

[Q] Help - xperia sp c5303 won't turn on after recovery

Hi there.
- My phone was with rooted .207 with dual philz and twrp installed, booloader unlocked, everything is working fine.
- Yesterday, after backing up the system with philz recovery, I flashed my phone .266 using flash tool. and it works fine. Recovery & root was gone.
- Today I installed dual philz & twrp recovery using the file found in this link http://techglen.com/2014/07/07/install-dual-cwm-twrp-recovery-on-xperia-sp-205-firmware/. After that I can boot to recovery.
- I mounted /storage/sdcard1 (where I stored my backup). I tried the backup I made earlier (the one with .207 number) but it didn't work, saying there's some checksum mismatch. I tried 2 other backups found in the same folder, 1 also said mismatch, 1 doesn't complain about checksum but failed after trying to restore /system
- Because of that error, I go into mount options, unmount /system, but the backup still failed
- At this point I didn't know what to do, so I thought I would try to boot into twrp and give it a shot. At the reboot menu, there's only option I can choose with it to reboot with "su" at some path, I pressed okay.
- Now the phone won't boot up <--- problem here
About the state of the phone now & things I tried:
- Phone won't boot up with power button
- Phone won't charge when plugging into power source - LED won't light up
- Tried pressing & holding Power + Volume down for a few times and then press the power button, doesn't change anything
- Tried connecting to my computer using usb, but it won't get recognized by the computer/software
- Tried pressing & holding OFF button on the back of the phone for some times, doesn't seem to have any effect.
Now I'm just plugging my phone in, hoping it would get charged some how.
Can somebody help me with troubleshooting my phone? Thanks so much.

Hi, thanks for your reply. Last thing I tried was to go into flashmode and fortunately it still works. I flashed a new ftf file using flashtool and everything works again.

[Q] [SOLVED]Cant access recovery

Hi!
I just update to lollipop 23.1.A.0.726 using pc suite, now i want to have root access but i can get in to recovery, the led indicator never turns on, the phone works with no problems so the led indicator, what should i do?
cheers!
Recovery mode/Hard reset option
I have same problem. I don't have custom recovery but what Im trying to do is hard reset.
I am waiting for the LED to appear before pressing volume UP. After several attempts I gave up waiting for the LED and pressed (many times) the up button soon as I feel the vibration after pressing power on.
no luck. I don't get the option to do hard reset
Any ideas? How do I do a hard reset?
well after search all over the forum i end up with 2 solutions
1-the first was to flash the kernel using this post
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/tutorial-how-to-boot-to-recovery-lp-690-t3069984
but in a very stupid way i could not do it ( i was using wrong dir ), but im not shure if this method would work.
2- the one i use, i just downgrade fw to 23.0.A.2.93
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-compact/general/how-to-root-backup-drm-keys-t3013343
after getting recovery i flash 23.1.A.0.726 Lollipop 5.02, Odexed, Pre-Rooted 2.46, XDualRecovery 2.8.14
http://forum.xda-developers.com/z3-...03-lollipop-5-02-odexed-pre-rooted-2-t3090505
and done!
I backup all because I erase all

HELP! Bricked phone by wiping int. storage, tried ADB/EMMA/Flashtool/Sony Companion..

Hello,
While trying to unlock and root, I bricked the phone - as in its just staying at the Sony Xperia boot screen. Its still responding to Vol up+Power button to restart. The notification light turns red then green when using Vol down + attach USB.
This is what happened
1) Unlocked and Rooted the device, installed TWRP
2) Took back-up with TWRP
3) While wiping cache, system, etc. to prepare for installing custom ROM, also selected Internal Storage: and chose wipe and restart
Now phone is stuck at the Boot screen, tried the following
- Flashtool: Can install new kernel, but giving error when trying to install stock firmware
- ADB: Doesnt show up in the list with "adb Devices" command
- Sony Companion: Get stuck during software repair on the boot screen. On pressing Vol up+Power, the notification light turns on and stays blue.
- Sony EMMA: Recognises IMEI but says the phone is locked
Is there anyway to sideload TWRP or any other options of flashing stock firmware?
Many thanks in advance.
With Flashtool, Are you try to flash 4.4.4 stock firmware?
Thanks. It worked. Also realized that had to unlock again using flashtool
