Do you want to restore the original firmware or do you want to flash another?
which model do you have? CRR-UL00, CRR-L09 or another one? Look for it in your phone settings and write the whole build number.
Hi, (sorry for my english)
I would like to obtain de original vodafone stock firm. Model CRR-L09, because i installed other original firm, but the "cust.img" is not compatible with my country and appears a warning in the phone.
The phone works fine, but i need to restore to original firm to sold it.
Regards
i can´t find the original update.app for the vodafone branded spanis mate s.
But if you have an unlocked bootloader, you can root your mate s, change the buildnumber in the build.prop and should receive the original update via ota.
I´m not sure about the right buildnumber. musst be CRR-L09C02B000 i think.

i have the same problem, unlocked bootloader, flAshed Kitkat XT1063 global single sim version on fastboot then upgraded to Lollipop global single sim also, everything worked but the "no network" and an error when searching for one. i have downgraded to stock Kitkat, relocked bootloader, still no network service... any help on fixing that?
You can try the Retail Latin America version:
i Suggest this two (if the first doesn't work, try whit the second):
First: http://www.filefactory.com/file/6967yytqrjv3/RETLA_XT1063_4.4.4_KXB21.85-22_cid12_CFC_SVC.xml.zip
Second: http://www.filefactory.com/file/4q2qr0gw8trj/RETLA_XT1063_4.4.4_KXB21.85-14_cid12_CFC_SVC.xml.zip
Tell me how goes you whit this.
Glad I waited before flashing any stock rom. I just got the same phone, just from Telcel. Hope to have some secure way to flash lollipop soon.
i flashed mine succesully but softbricked it while downgrading because i had no network, after some research i got lollipop working again, you just have to flash the Latin american modems from the correct firmware for your phone, mine was retail latin america single sim, thats how you get a perfect working moto g 5.0 in mexico, ill provide the link if asked for
Please do.
[/COLOR]Hasta abajo de este tutorial viene el link del modem.
Saludos.

Hi again, if I was to root my device which is running EVA-L09C02B123 vodafone version, can I unroot and go back to this version? I don't find it anywhere to download. If I would choose to install another version is my warranty back or do I need vodafone version?

I checked in Firmware Finder for your phone and that is the only one I could find. Looks like you are not getting any new updates for the carrier you are using(but I'm not 100% sure). In order to get updates you need to debrand your phone to C432. Follow the link here https://forum.xda-developers.com/p9/how-to/guide-debranding-to-c432-updating-to-t3551523

Is it safe for my device to do that? Since my devic3 is under vodafone, i want to know whether the update will be released by vodafone or official huawei?

I followed the steps there and it worked fine for me. I too was also waiting for Vodafone Australia to release Nougat update (EVA-L09 user here that had vodafone branded phone). Huawei hasn't given the firmware to them yet so I went and debranded anyway using that L09C432 guide.
Just make sure you get bootloader to unlock properly. Official method to get bootloader unlock code is recommended.
So the steps I noted are:
- I got the bootloader unlock code from huawei, inserted the code with SRK-Tool to push the unlock code to the phone.
- Followed steps to get to B182.
- Then used this guide to get further updates: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=70594380&postcount=2 (Do this incrementally, don't jump past a build or more in advance.)
Hello.
I am new to everything related to Huawei and I have a small doubt please.
I have a Huawei P9 Lite 2017 PRA-LX1 (exactly the same phone and specs as P8 Lite 2017; just a different name used by Huawei for marketing and regional purposes).
I have recently updated the build number through the inbuilt Huawei system update to version B162.
Please note that this was only a 400MB update with very minor changes and it was not a full ROM installation. Please see attached screenshot.
I am going to unlock the bootloader, TWRP and root very soon. I read that on the forum that sometimes people have to flash the original version of the build number when their phone gets soft or hard bricked in order to recover their phone.
I wanted to download the original build number as safety in case something goes wrong.
I can't remember the build number I had previously to B162.
1. How would I find the original build number I was on when I bought the phone? Only through a factory reset?
2. Is it really necessary the original build number to recover my phone (if needed one day) or another build would work?
Sorry but I find this Huawei updating method rather complicated or confusing.
Thanks in advance for any advice.
Factory reset don't work because it will same build that you on now. Perhaps if you install firmware finder you can see previous builds

Thank you for the answer.
I do have Firmware Finder installed but as I mentioned I did not memorise the previous build number so I would not know which one to look for.
I suppose that if I search for build number B162 (my current updated version) it would work in case I need to flash the original version if any problems arise.
Correct me if I am wrong.
Also in relation to my question #2 any idea please?
Thank you so much.

I have honor 4x(different phone, but this part of the phones might be same).
I think FULL firmwares from firmware finder can be flashed in TWRP and in that case you'll only need to worry about getting the firmware which has the same specs as your phone.
TWRP dosen't do any version checking so you don't need to find exactly correct version.
I don't know will this work, but if you get stuck it's good to know.

Yes it is good to know I will be able to flash any version as long as it is for PRA-LX1.
With some other phone brands I had in the past downgrading was out of the question (LG G3 and G4 for example).
Not sure about Huawei in relation to downgrading.
My opinion is that this should be all standardised all across Android anyway and not all different between phone manufacturers.
Thanks for your reply.
basically the only thing you need to look at is C432 in the firmware number

You MAY find your original build number according to your region:
https://mobiletech360.co/huawei-p8-lite-2017-stock-firmwarerom-android-7-nougat-pra-lx1/
But even if you do i doubt that you can revert it back, I had a PRA-LX1C464 which is the region code for Turkey, I wanted to update it through Firmware Finder and successfully did. But it changed my phone' build number to PRA-LX1C432, and I can't revert it back to C464. My phone is single SIM, but the firmware I'm using is dual SIM (wtf huawei? ) . So far so good though, phone works fine.

You need to rebrand your phone aka flash another oeminfo that is related to your device. This will lock your bootloader, so make sure you are on stock EMUI first, flash the new oeminfo (make sure it belongs to your device), go to erecovery and restore your device, this will wipe all your data and download the firmware of the oeminfo you flashed. You can unlock your bootloader afterwards.
