Is there a working version on lollipop update?
bump
what is so hard to understand? xposed for lollipop currently needs a custom recovery to install. there is no working custom recovery for the z3c yet.
Sent from my D5803
And why not looking around in the XPOSED section. And there is an alpha version out. so Yes, there is.
Well I installed a prerooted version of Lollipop on my Z3 D6603, and installed the Xposed Framework while in recovery. It worked before I tried to install Lolistat, after which I was stuck in a boot loop. So no, it doesn't work right now.

It has nothing to do with lolistat, I expect. I have a rooted D6633 running stock LP; you flash the .zip, first boot is ok (the art optimizer runs on all app) - but it starts bootlooping once you reboot after that first (successful) boot. The only thing I did was, install a bunch of updates - not even the Xposed apk.
And btw, I did that after the first attempt, during which - on first boot - I installed the apk, appopsexposed and serjar's thing, then enabled those 2 modules, plus the greenify one which already existed (I assumed it was one of those) - but nope, it wasn't, unless the framework somehow enabled the greenify one behind my back and that caused the problem (which I find rather unlikely).

I posted this ages ago...I have Xposed fully working now. If you're still having problems, there are solutions.
You can either install AndroPlus Kernel, which patches the thing that breaks Xposed, or install this fix http://www.theandroidsoul.com/havin...n-your-sony-xperia-device-try-this-fix-76894/

I mean, seriously? You're pointing me to my own fix, mirrored by somebody else?! (rofl)
It's here btw, no need for externals links. And 2.1 is pretty old, too

Hey, no worries It just felt pretty damn strange - "hey, use your stuff, from over there..."
So... I had my N6 on 6.0 stock with root, made room in the system to install Xposed and had GB running great. Then I got greedy and installed 6.0.1, made room in system again and installed Xposed - on reboot I get constant NFC service errors and the phone is unusable. Go back to 6.0 and it works great. Tried installing a debloated stock 6.0.1 rom, w/ system-less root and get the same result after flashing Xposed.
Any insight? Tried searching with no results.
Seems like the issue was with the new root method. My solution was to remove the new root method using Update-unSU and then flash the Su2.52.zip. Xposed seems to be working fine now.

I am using sytemless root on 6.0.1 with xposed and don't have these issues
OK... The problem is back.
I was on 6.0.1 stick firmware - rooted with SU2.52 - removed the foreign language keyboards to make enough room in system to install the xposed framework (sdk78_arm version) - rebooted and get NFC services errors and phone is frozen.
Loaded the 6.0.1 lite rom - used unSU - installed SU2.52 and xposed and same result/error.
Loaded the 6.0.1 lite rom - left the system less root - installed xposed and same thing again.
Anyone have thoughts? I swear I am not that much of a newb but I can't figure this out. Even tried downloading a fresh copy of xposed but same thing.

It is most likely not updated to work with those root methods yet. With the updates in security each android update is gonna need xposed to be updated. Even to the point that it may stop working all together. So I would get used to not having it to be honest. It is only a matter of time before it stops working all together.
Same issue happening to me, all roads pointing to systemless root. I'm sure Rovo will update. I'm using SuperSu v2.6.2r3 btw
Try to do factory reset throughout TWRP.
I had same problem yesterday. After I installed xposed framework, I could not use my phone due to NFC service error popup message. But now, everything seems okay after factory reset. - no more error message.
I've been reading thousands of forum entries on how to install the xposed framework for my device and I can't seem to get it. They all end the same way -- stuck at the Verizon logo screen.
I am using a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S4 on stock Lollipop (5.0.1). I only have the stock bootloader thanks to it being locked before I laid hands on the device, but I do have Flashfire, Root, SuperSU. Each time I fail, I use ODIN to flash I545VRUGOF1_I545VZWGOF1_I545VRUGOF1_HOME.tar and try again.
I have tried using a deodexed rom by flashing the above with ODIN, then using Flashfire to OTA update: I545_OF1_Stock_Rooted_Deodexed_ROM.zip
Next, install the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk
I then tried flashing:
xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon
xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon
xposed-v86-sdk21-arm
They all result in freezing on the Verizon logo during boot.
I can flash xposed-sdk21-arm-20150430-arter97 on to the deodexed rom and it will work, but the Xposed Installer says it's not the most recent and all modules yield the same error:
This module requires a newer XposedBridge version (30) and thus cannot be activated.
Then I try with the stock rom (odexed).
I can flash:
xposed-v71-sdk21-arm-arter97-V6-snapdragon
xposed-v75-sdk21-arm-arter97-snapdragon
xposed-v86-sdk21-arm
Without a crash; So long as the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4.apk is not installed. If I install the XposedInstaller then try to flash, it hangs on the Verizon logo during boot.
Finally, if I flash the zips first, then reboot and install the XposedInstaller it will yield me the same result of not the most recent version and I get the requires newer bridge for all modules.
Because it's an S4 there are hundreds of forums and guides, but I can't find one that applies to me. That makes me either the worst internet researcher in the world -- or I'm missing something so obvious that it's embarrassing...well, humiliating.
Can anyone offer a suggestion? ...and yes, I've read every read only forum to the last line and every XDA Lollipop forum. I've reflashed my phone almost two dozen times trying different suggestions with absolutely no luck.
I was having similar issues trying to get xposed on 5.0.1.
Long story short I gave up and flashed 5.1.1 onto my Note 4 and used wanam's custom xposed framework.
Galaxy S4
I don't believe there is a stock 5.1 firmware for the Galaxy S4. More importantly, I have to believe you can install Xposed on the S4. I just hate feeling like I'm missing something so simple!!

I have a i545 with locked boot loader I used flashfire to flash XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 and xposed-v85.0-samsung-5.0.x-sdk21-test-by-dkcldark.zip and it has been working fine for me, I thought my phone was froze on the Verizon splash screen on the first restart so I pulled the battery and tried starting the phone again and it started like normal

That went faster than I expected. Going to give it a flash now.
Well, thank you for the effort.
It flashed very quickly and then rebooted without a problem, but the Xposed Installer still shows, "The Xposed framework is not installed. Please download the latest ZIP file from XDA and flash it manually via recovery." and all the modules say, "..requires a newer XposedBridge version (30) and thus cannot be activated".
I don't suppose you'd be willing to use FlashFire to make a full backup (minus your cache, of course) to share?

Thank you! I uninstalled Xposed Installer and rebooted. Reinstalled Xposed Installer, rebooted, then flashed the file again. Upon that reboot it did the, "Upgraded file xx of xx" and now it's installed!
I can't thank you enough!

Could you provide the steps you used to achieve this? Thanks!
Please explain how to do this.
Hello.
Can anyone explain the steps to install Xposed framework on the Samsung Galaxy S4 SCH-i545, rooted with stock ROM 5.0.1? I found and downloaded the two files noted in krusherkills123's post, but Flashfire only shows the XposedInstaller_3.0_alpha4 under "Flash firmware package" where it brings up a blank "Partitions" screen and no options.
I used Flashfire to flash the other file, xposed-v85.0-samsung-5.0.x-sdk21-test-by-dkcldark.zip, which I hated to do since I have no idea what it actually does. Since I don't know what it does, I can't confirm that flashing it was successful.
Any help would be appreciated.
Same question here, rooted Verizon S4 I545VRSGPL1, can I install xposed? This is stock rom, rooted with kingroot then cleaned to use SuperSU
People have done with OF1, not sure about PL1, but they are not far apart
Thx!
Firstly I'm a Noob but I looked for days for a solution for this and I couldn't find one. So if there is a post like this please link me to it.
Thanks.
I am trying to get a working xposed on my phone but no luck so far.
I have S6 edge stock ROM G925FXXS4DPG3
TWRP twrp-3.0.2-0-zerolte
Was rooted now its not.
All the tries failed. followed instructions as mentioned but not luck.
Found all the files that would work on G925F-XXU3DPDP but not for mine. and yes tried to flash that ROM but I read that I can't downgrade ( didn't know it was a downgrading ).
Sorry for the long post but had to mention that I tried all I could find.

I don't have a problem with rooting. I root using Odin.
This is the name of the file CF-Auto-Root-zerolte-zeroltexx-smg925f.tar it worked perfectly.
I was able to flash the xposed framework without being stuck in a bootloop but when I open the xposed app under framework it said its not currently active.

Oh sorry, was a little confused because you had said you were rooted, and now you weren't so I was trying to help one step at a time. Glad root situation is fixed. Which xposed did you flash? Wanam's will work on 5.1 and 6, Odex or Deodex, have you tried that one? Do you have a log of when xposed fails to load

Yeah no luck.
Thanks a lot for replying.
hey, @rovo89
i have a problem with my phone
see, ive been searching for cm12.1 rom for my sm-g360h until i saw your thread from 2015 and finally after days and months of searching i flashed it on my phone, everything was going good till i tried to flash xposed framework and boom! i get bootloops whenever i try flashing compatible version of xposed to my phone...
i used sdk22 armv7a xposed versions, old and new! all i get is bootloops!!
please i dont know what else to do....
by the way my phone's stock rom is 4.4.4.... is that mean that i should flash xposed based on the current rom or the stock rom ?
@sondos_mahmoud, you mention stock. Are you dual/multibooting?
Anyway, flash Xposed based on the ROM or Android version that it will be used on. Besides, there's no flashable Xposed for KitKat so it wouldn't be possible.
Maybe check the CM12.1 thread for your device and see what folks have done there.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ga.../rom-cyanogenmod-12-1-samsung-galaxy-t3405669
A web search for your device + cm12 + Xposed turned up a lot of hits and vids you might want to consult.
On my device with Xposed v87, permissive kernel, and SuperSU, all works well. Doesn't mean much I know since our setups are so different.
Also check out the UNITY Xposed installer (in this subforum) and see if that one makes a difference.
Don't forget to flash the uninstallers and wiping dalvik when trying different versions. Making sure the ROM boots okay between so many attempts.
LG G3 D851, CyanogenMod 12.1 ROM, Fechda Kernel R7, MultiROM, Tapatalk 4.9.5
first, thanks for replying
second, i'm not trying to flash xposed on kitkat cus it doesn't require that, the main problem here is i cant get xposed installed.
i tried flashing xposed v86, 87, 88, 89 but nothing, only bootloops, and according to xposed apk when i install it after flashing xposed zip and open it the phone restarts!!!
i tried xposed alpha3 and alpha4
and v3.1.5 ,didn't open with me, the phone restarts right away!
by the way i flashed cm13 yesterday and also tried to flash xposed.....i get bootloops ((
so i downgraded to cm12.1
i'm pretty sure i wiped cache and dalvik between every flashing operation, i followed the steps carefully ..
i don't know if its my phone which has the problem....
tell me what else to do? im desperate ..
and sorry im not that good in english
