[Q] Alfs Kernel v9c Booting Problem

Hello everyone,
Yesterday I flashed the Alfs Kernel v9c CM7, and on top of that I flashed GDX v29.
The first boot worked seamlessly well, after doing some settings, i rebooted my phone in CWM and wiped the cache, dalvik cache and batterystats.
After rebooting my phone got stuck at the kernel animation for like 2 hrs!!
I did the same thing with nAa kernel but till now no prob like that occured...
So can anyone help me with a solution??
Thanxx
Maybe you could wipe cache, dalvik cache and try again.

I did that....the prob that i found was to format system , data and flash again...i couldnt do this everytime i reboot!!
Interesting. That's not supposed to be necessary unless the previous kernel has a different partition table, or uses /system, /data and /cache in some way other than the way normal kernels use them. I'm glad that you were able to solve your problem.

Bootloop

Hi Guys,
I have a RAZR I with unlocked bootloader, then install CWM or TWRP, Wipe: data, cache, dalvik and system, install custom ROM and get bootloop. This happens with all custom ROMS
I realise many people have had this issue in the past and was wondering if it has been fixed?

Need help, cant boot into recovery/rom

After installing latest cm11 my phone cant boot into recovery. Or cant boot the rom, even the boot logo of cm doesnt show up.
What i did before;
-Wiped system/cache/data (all f2fs)
-Flashed the latest cm11
-Wiped dalvik cache and boot
-After doing first config. Realized i didnt flash gapps
-Boot into recovery wipe system/data/cache
-Flash rom again, and latest pa gapps, wipe dalvik
-Boom, phone wont boot and cant get boot into recovery.
Tried flashing twrp via odin, latest cm11 with odin and neither of them worked. Can someone help me, please? Thank you.

XT1034 - Slimkat stuck on flashing logo on bootup

I flashed SlimKat using Philz, and it's stuck on the flashing blue SlimKat logo. It's been stuck like this for a little over 10 minutes. I can still get it into recovery, and yes, I've already tried wiping Dalvik and cache. Any other suggestions?

Ok here is the solution.
1)Make sure your files are complete
2)Try it with TWRP recovery latest version
Even if you are using Philz or TWRP,
1)Try to advance wipe system, data, cache
2)Then flash the files
3)wipe dalvik cache
Cheers
