Hi everyone,
Last night I installed the stock 6.0 Marshmallow concept and I did all the updates to version 6.0.1.
Now it seems that the phone will no longer charge and the led keeps blinking on amber. In case it helps my phone is a D5803 Z3 compact.
Did I miss some sort of USB settings or something like that?
Any ideas are greatly appreciated as my battery is running low.
Thanks in advance !
Maybe you can charge in recovery mode? Just to get the % up a bit...
Id say; reflash the rom on clean phone.

Hi all! I have a galaxy s3 LTE! I flashed the Galaxy Project v19.01 KitKat 4.4.2! When the phone turned on! I saw display glitches and problems on my screen! I flashed stock 4.3! When the phone is charged (more than 20%) is works okay! But when the battery decreses to less than 20% I get the same problem display problems and then the phone shut down and wont turn on only when plugged into the charger! Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance
Maybe that isn't connected with the rom itself but your battery worn out coincidentally with the rom changing.
If you have a chance, try other battery (from friend, family).
So i have had my htc one for about a year and a half now and for the past couple of months i have been having problems with my battery. The way it is acting is really sporadic so i will try to explain it the best way i can. First of all, the battery is draining faster then usual, and it won't charge when plugged to a computer for some reason (ok sometime it does charge but its so random, and when it does it will only charge for about 1-2% in the span of an hour) So i have to use a power outlet when i need to charge my phone.
Now what i did when it did that, which is a solution i found on the net was to clear the system cache which i did by going into twrp recovery(yes btw my phone is running android HD 62.0 with kit kat 4.4.2) and wiping the cache..That only seemed to help fix the issue for awhile, because after that my phone could somehow charge from a computer but it still drained fast and i notice that it also overheats more then the usual. So at this point i did a little more researching, made sure that all my process/task were closed and everything and it seem that its always my android system that seems to be using alot of power (see my attached screenshot).
Ultimately at the beginning of the week i did a factory reset, this SEEMED to have fix the issue for about 3 days my phone was working fine, no hard battery drain it , no overheat and it would even charge fine on a computer... until about 2 days all the above came back ! woke up in the morning, my phone was hotter then usual, by the time i arrived at work my phone is at 75% and all i did was listen to music !
Now i really loved my HTC while it lasted and was even planning on getting the M8, but im disappointed that the battery is giving me headache like this so im hoping there is something i can do before i decide to change phone completly
Any help would be greatly appreciated thank you !!

I wish I knew of a fix for this problem as well, because I appear to have exactly the same problem with my M7 running ViperOne 5.8. I'm hoping that updating the ROM will alleviate the issue, but I have no idea. I also don't know that mine fails to charge from a computer — my impression is simply that it's charging slower than the battery is being drained by whatever process(es) is causing the problem.
I'll let you know if I find an answer!
hmmm i thought i could avoid having to update the rom but i guess thats one of the only solution left for me to try. could anyone confirm if this could possibly fix the issue ?

Hi all, I am writing this question to ask for your advice.
My brother have an Xperia Z, model D6603, stock ROM Android 6 Marshmallow. This week the phone suddenly was stuck in a boot loop. Since then I've searched several threads reporting the same problem, but in all of them the devices were not stock. I've thinked of re-flashing a new ROM and in last case the firmware. But what is concerning me and making me wounder is the battery state, which I think can be the cause in this case.
The battery is always in the minimum level, we left the phone charging a whole night but it didn't charged. Because all this I am afraid of re-flashing the phone, it will for sure freeze during the process. The aspect of the battery is not good, see picture:

Do you think this can be a battery problem rather a boot problem? In case is the battery, do you know any way test it?
Thank you all in advance for your time.

Hi all,
I've managed to test the phone with a battery from a Xperia Z3 Mini and the phone booted normally. Problem solved, no need to flash the device. :victory:
Thank you all.
Hello folks,
I am facing a weird issue while charging my Moto. I have been using Pixel experience ROM for a few months now and I decided to port back to stock after Oreo release announcement.
I am facing a charging issue with the stock ROM. Fast-charging has stopped working altogether.
-The phone charges very fast if its switched off but when you switch it ON the battery will discharge at the same speed it was charged.
- If I charge the phone while it is ON it takes about 8 hours to charge but the battery drain is normal in this case and the phone easily lasts 12-14 hours with minimal usage.
I flashed the Pixel ROM again and now charging works fine.
Software channel : RETIN
Stock version I used : 61-2 (Indian Version)
I am confused as the issue is not with the phone but with the stock ROM. I have a clean copy of the stock ROM as well which I had used earlier and had worked fine.
Motorola blog says the issue is from the March update. Anyone here who is on stock ROM with a locked bootloader facing the issue??
Any suggestions/help would be appreciated and upvoted.
Thanks in advance.

Turbo charging works same way in all ROMs, and it should work in stock ROM (as it works in custom ROM).
Turbo charging stops at 42℃ temperature, make sure your device is less heated than 42℃ and use "Ampere" app to monitor charging rate and temperature.

Maybe the elusive Oreo update will fix it!   jk good luck wish i had some advice :good:
Hey guys,
So last weekened I decided to give custom ROMS a try, and I started with Lineage OS, but the battery was really bad, I ended up changing to ASOPextended and finally to Pixel Experience. Now the thing is, on all of these the battery was behaving super weird, charging super slow and draining really fast, it seemed to be a bit better on Pixel Experience, and I left it charging all night with the phone turned off. When I woke up, the phone was completely drained and I can't charge it or turn it on.
I saw another post here saying that someone had the same problem as me, but that they could charge it in recovery mode, and that definitly seems to work.
Can anybody tell me what do to? What did I do wrong while installing these ROMS? How is everybody else using custom ROMS on their phones if the battery is so bad?
Thank you!
did you solve it? i'm getting the same issue i just flashed Pixel Experience and the phone just won't charge i'm going to try maybe wiping Dalvik/ART and cache throught TWRP
