Battery fix to Air III (M5C5) in Mirek v7? - Teclast X98 Air 3G

Hello,
After installing Mirek v6, I made a clean installation of Mirek v7. However, it still appears "overstimated battery" on the battery statistics screen. Is there any way to solve this?
Thank you very much!

have you tried battery calibration app from google play store?

No, I have not. I thought it was useless and, moreover, I noticed that the overestimated percentage was the same as the addition of the other items. It doesn't bother me as battery seems to work ok and the battery meter seems to be accurate.
Thank you very much!

[Q] i9000: Battery questions and sudden shut-down problems need resolving

Hi all,
Firstly, thank you all for providing so many answers to my many noob-questions, even before me asking them! This forum is great.
So, my setup is visible as the first attachment to this post.
Previously, I have had lots of problems with the battery only lasting 5 hours, but I have finally come across a good config of kernel, ROM and apps that have boosted that considerably. Also, I keep WiFi turned off, apps bckground syncing off, GPS off and accounting syncing off. DarkyROM rules!
And, my running services are really few (see second attachment), and I'm getting some really good battery times now (see third and fourth attachment)
And, here is my question to the forum:
I have realised that a) when the battery drops below 50%, AND b) the display is set to time-out at 15 seconds, THEN the phone shuts off, and I can see that the battery seems to have died. Please see the third attachment to this post! Does anyone have an idea what is going on, and how to resolve it?
Thanks so much for any constructive answers!
Mark
Did you try wiping battery stats in recovery mode? You could even try recalibrating. Do a search for "calibrate battery" in XDA forums.
i had the random shut down issue, after i contacted the support center they thought it was a battery app. Do you have any battery monitor apps? If so, uninstall all of them.
For me that didnt solve anything, i had to get a replacement phone. If you are still within your 1 year, i would highly suggest doing the same. Now that i got this new phone my battery life has been amazing. With the original unit it used to be tops 12 hours, now i can get 1.5 days!

sadly, my phone is more than a year
Try these things :
# Replace Battery
OR
# Resoft , reset battery,recalibrate
Try battery calibration or charge it 100% and then flash the rom and see. If this is one not helping you. I think you have to change the battery.
Try Juwe's Smart Edition !

Not the best idea!
This is happening on Juwe's ROM v5.2 JVQ.
I had a freeze after exiting a game called Paradise Island (I get that quite often!) and then I had to press the power key for 9 seconds for the phone to reboot itself.
And, NO, that charging on the graph isn't an actual charging, the battery just recalibrates itself over time. Strange!

what experience do you have with that ROM and would you be willing to post a screen dump of your battery page?
thanks

horrible battery....

im with tsunami rom (AOKP) with semaphore 2.5.0S and the battery is really awful... with and without 3G it just keep going down... (20 minutes without use + 3G off, 10% and gone...) if ill will update the semaphore it will help? to run clean kernel script? and if yes before or after the installation?
if not what can i do? its awful...
the problem is in the device of in the battery? if device in hardware or software?
Have you calibrated the battery? If no, then use battery calibrator from the play store.

i did it like 3-4 times never really helped...
try to find
you could download Betterbatterystats and run without charging. you may know which process is drinking battery juice.
i have faced that problem. It may be caused by modem, kernel, process which disturb deep sleep.
Better try the rom 2~3days. sometimes battery gets better.
Os monitor with root is also good to find which process is using cpu.

Battery discharges very quickly

Hi!
I've been using since January OmniRomm and am very satisfied.
Silk recently, my battery will discharge very quickly. The cause is obvious Google+.
Does anyone have the same problem and can help me maybe.
Thanks.

For me a tool that controls the connectivity usage did the trick.
I put that one:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.latedroid.ultimatejuice&hl=en
It extended the battery time twice for me. You can also search for alternatives of the kind in google play store.
Cheers

G+ is a data hog. Even if you disable notifications it eats data. Disable background data in Settings->Data Usage

Hey! I have the same problem but haven't found a solution yet neither. I might be true that G+ is a data hog, but this generalization can't be the reason for this clearly newly occuring fingerprint_scanner_local wakelock that keeps my i9100 firing away at maximum clock speed for the whole time. Uninstalled for now and I haven't been lucky at finding something in the better battery stats thread.

Yea I got fed up with google + turning sync on after I would turn it off, it would toggle back on, so I uninstalled it fully.

Nice work, I've already done since months

my galaxy s3 i9305 consumes a lot of battery

I have a problem with my phone. The battery precents gets low very fast. Its not problem with the battery because I checked it. Maybe I should change rom?
With a rooted phone you could try xposed framework and deep sleep battery saver. I have very good results.
Also check with wakelock detector that no process is hindering deep sleep.
S3 screen is consuming very much battery though.
s3
I have friends with s3 and they have a lot battery precents at the end of day. My battery precents gets dwon very fast!

Have you had the phone for long? What rom are you running? Has it only recently started chewing the battery?
If you have installed any new apps since the battery was fine, maybe might to be to blame. Also some i9305's have issues with the antenna and will use up a lot of battery if you are in an area where the signal isn't perfect.
Also check what it says is using your battery in battery stats in settings.

And did you check the battery stats in settings? This will give you an idea on what is using the battery the most. eg. screen, cell standby etc.
How long does a full charge last for you?
android
The android system consumes 18%the internet 23%. Maybe I should change rom? Can someone suggest abour good rom?

OK, if internet and android system use up the most of your battery, then it sounds like you have a fairly high usage or some app(s) are running in the background, in which case changing roms probably won't make that much difference. Check out @MaHo_66 's guide for rooting/recoveries etc here -
http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...covery-i9305-cwm-philz-twrp-versions-t2694249
This will start you on flashing etc. And check out the forums for info on the different roms. Other users will hopefully suggest ones to try
PS - read rooting guide carefully and follow the steps!!
If your ROM allows you to, try to deny "Keep awake" permission for some apps especially Google Play services. Otherwise you can use Greenify.

Insanely decreased battery life

Is there any battery life issue that anyone may have encountered ever since the previous two updates.. my 6000mah battery that used to stay for 2 days minimum has gone to a single day. It's all been after the update and i saw plenty of forums in Asus itself of the same thing.
Reference :- https://zentalk.asus.com/en/discussion/54786/battery-drain-issue-on-rog-3
Anyone got any leads for this?
You're just overthinking. Stop staring at the battery percentage 24/7 and enjoy the damn phone.

You damn right! But how, bro. When u were accustomed to charging ur phone once in two days and you have to subtract 24 hours from that.. it surw changes the usage from a gaming plus daily driver to either one of the lot .. change for the bad questions a lot of stuff

What is your battery usage? Have you tried a factory reset?
What is showing as consuming most power? An optimized debloated ROG 3 with a healthy can go a week on stand-by with data enabled and even longer (no kidding) and easily 2-2.5 days with normal use.
You have to pinpoint what is doing it. It's wearing down your battery as well...

I tried, actually. The thing is i fear the Android system itself. Coz in one of the threads on the Asus website forums, there were people discussing Play Store or Play activities that keep auto restarting and also twin apps.
So for starters i did try to force close play services (can't disable coz of the emails), then battery turned out great. But afterwards it started reducing again. Same with twin apps.
I ain't kidding too. It's supposed to a 2-2.5day phone easily with the 6000mah battery, but for me it's a single day max to max a 12+ (3-4) hour phone

Ok. I also had some battery drain (not on idle tho) and installed Kirisakura kernel, seems to have solved the issue for me. I also wiped Dalvik cahe. It may also have been the solution

You can also try to use the Naptime app, it forces the phone into Doze when screen is off. Adb access or root is needed
GSAM can also be used to find the culprit
If disabling Goog Play Services stops the issue, it's likely linked to one or more running apps or processes. It's likely not Play Services itself but because one or more other components are making calls to it. Try to review all the running apps & services on your device and selectively disable them and gauge the difference. Apps that do a lot of syncing, using location services, excessive notifications (cloud messaging), Firebase indexing, etc etc.... If you have a good app manager tool, that will make the hunt easier.
