so I asked the Huawei Mobile (Poland, on facebook fanpage) about the update on our phone and they said:
- work on update 5.1.1 is stopped because they have already started preparing update to android 6.0
- Marshmallow for P8lite will be released in this quarter of the year. (my assumption is the end of the march)

Most probably - yes. However you will have to wait few more weeks after no-brand version is released.
That's because brands make their own additions to the roms and after they do so, package with rom has to be certified which also takes some time.
This step depends on your brand only.
I got my P8Lite from polish Orange brand but I see no operator extras so maybe I will get update the same day eu version is released.

I have contacted via facebook Huawei Mobile Sweden and Italy. Both said that the Marshmallow will come to P8 Lite, though they didn't specify any time. I've also read that Huawei Austria replied to someone via twitter confirming the update as well.
Anyways I hope that it happens like they said to you, in the first 2016 quarter

Hi, i asked about Marshmallow update from Huawei finland by email. They answered that they are trying to get it out on February but they don't know day yet. I asked something 'bout beta but they didn't answered to it. Proof (in finnish ofcourse )

B170 Dual SIM Europe update include Vendor package for unbranding. I have updated my T-Mobile branded phone to unbranded.
I just fired off an email to Huawei Australia to see about when the ALE-L02 variant from Telstra could see the update, seeing as Telstra are the worst when it comes to releasing updates on time rather than 6 months later like with their branded Samsung phones. Hopefully it's sooner rather than later

I have beta android 5.1 for Huawei p8 lite and it is terrible, battery discharge so fast.. Ram is too bad. I look forward to new version ?
Will they add auto focus in camera while recording? Will they fix the GPS and compass issues?

Huawei Hungary told us, the carrier-free phones will get it about a month or so after the beta test ends here. Now, it's past that time, and I (probably not just me ) eagerly waiting for the 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Unfortunately, no info about the branded phones sold by Telekom(T-Mobile), Telenor, nor Vodafone. I guess the providers will implement they bloatware into the package, and they'll publish it sometime. I'm sure it's not the priortity phone to do so, however...

B524 is still the beta (and there's a B525 too)
As a said before, huawei austria tell people, marshmallow for p8lite is final for about 50 days and already rolling out to people. (in waves). so it seems that b524 and b525 is final. (i'm using b525 single sim variant)

My freind, it's not the official version, I ve already talked with huawei mobile arabia and huwaei mobile tunisia and some frineds from egypt confirm this with huawei mobile egypt too, it's beta version, we were accepted to test it ans we got it, now we are waiting for the official final version, I hope this or next week we will have it.

The previous beta was not real full firmware .Maybe this one was the last test before the official roll-out.

Generally speaking:
full it's for update/upgrade of firmware's all parts, otherwise update/upgrade it's upgrading/updating only some parts of the firmware; so full it's intended for quantity not quality
Releases are:
alpha: these only for internal developers,early stage, starting points, you can't see these
beta: these are for testing purposes, you know
stable: these are released to all the people
Maybe some beta release can became stable as is, but i hope it's not the case.

I did not received it by ota, i install it whit firmware finder, security level is febrary so.....still old
I had B110 out of the box but Firmware Finder says B120 is available since March. It's very mixed up. Just going to stick with B110 and wait for an OTA
In my experience with the 2015 version (I doubt the story is different) I never received updates from the phone. I did them manually. This page has all versions of the official firmware for your device. If you want one, you can get it and install.
I contacted Huawei during the week about an EMUI 5.1 update, however they have no information yet

Then why are we still on B110? I hope we will receive B164 soon then..
They said there is no update in between b110 and b164.
I know the Huawei p8 lite 2017 from Vodafone receive the b140 but apparently the unlock version don't received.

Just got it, i had to insert my local (Croatian) SIM card to get update, as i'm currently in Ireland. I expected EMUI 5.1 with this one but it's still 5.0.
I think this is one is to prepare for 5.1 update as someone said earlier

Thanks for the tip. I also had the b110 version so after your post I tried my another SIM card (which actually doesn't even allow access to network anymore!) and right away I got notification that b164 is ready for me to download and install.
And you used a croatian sim?

Yes because i bought phone there, just inserted it to get update. For some reason Huawei devices need regional SIM inserted to receive update.
Official oreo update for pakistan region is available through system update.
No need of FF.
Check for updates and go for it.
Before download and install take a backup. Then download and install.
Once done then factory reset for smooth experience.
Once done restore your backup.

Yes currently it is available for C185. i think C432 Europe received first of all. As as per huawei it will be available till the end of may. 2018 to all Mate10Lite users.

Release is being pushed region wise. I think yesterday Egypt also got release and some other countries as per users reports.

I'm from Europe with the RNE-L21 model and i still didn't get the update...
I'm also from europe and no sing of oreo, just received update b135... according firmware finder it's all ready couple months old update. Just have to be patient and wait, first i thought to update to beta version but because bootloader unlock site is down i'm just going to wait.

Yeah i got the same version..i'm still hoping we gonna get the update till the end of the month,if not i'm gonna unlock the bootloader and install it by myself..
Model ELS-N04 - Don't install EMUI 11 without GMS installed first
As the title says. I fully upgraded my P40 Pro to 11.0.0.118
None of the methods to install GMS work (with or without computer)
Uninstalling backup to install the older version of backup doesn't work. It just says I have a newer version, even though backup is uninstalled.
You need to downgrade the software using Hisense before installing gms.

You need to use firmware finder. After that, I used:
ELS-LGRP4-OVS 10.1.0.131
I can't figure out how to install the EMUI 11 update for my ELS-N04. Also, I'm stuck on version .148. It seems other models have gotten a lot more updates. Is this the latest version for the Canadian varient?

I'm from British Columbia, Canada. I seen a few days ago on the Telus website (phone company here in Canada) that they expected release of EMUI 11 on the 16th of Dec. Obviously didn't happen yet and according to the Telus forums it may still be a long wait for us.

I just got this phone through Telus in Canada as well. ELS-N04 with Build Model 10.1.0.148 (C792E7R3P1).
I couldn't find the appropriate firmware either reading all the Googlefier guides and firmware downgrade links.
Have you guys had any further luck?
Also, just curious why the release of EMUI 11 is important? Based on the current methods for getting GMS installed, we need to do this prior to EMUI 11 being loaded, so isn't the release date for it irrelevant?

After trying different things, they sent me this link:

(remove the space after coloros-website-cn)
I installed it and was able to install 12.0, and from there I was able to do OTA.
You can download it from there, it is the original link, or you can contact support through email, and after making you try different things, they should send you the link.

Sorry I didn;t reply earlier. Today 28 of August 2022, my oppo is still not upgraded.
I bought it in Germany. I tried VPNs, today I even registered for the Oppo account. nothing.
I am seriously considering calling support.
same issue with telstra australia anybody tried to change the region of phone and been successful earlier it worked on oppo find x2 pro having same issue
I had the same issue for months and fixed it yesterday via NORDVPN through France. I now have the 12.1, hope it solves it.
I just tried with another VPN on Belgium and France, and still nothing.
It is absolutely crazy that I haven't received an update in over a year.
Oppo is going to launch ColorOS 13 and I am still in ColorOS 11.
Very very bad. I am going to call support.

Not that I recall.
I was in the same issue and the above tool sadly did not work for me (phone from Germany used in Romania) but i used a free google play vpn app - VPN.lat, with Italy vpn and got about 3 updates, now i am on 12.1.
