[Q] What to do after Rooting??

Hi! The title says it all. However, I had few more questions regarding CF Root. I rooted my phone using the JVT v4.3 CWM3RFS root. It is working well. Now,
1. Can I install the CF Root ext4 addon APK v1.3?
2. Can I install ClockWorld Mod ROM Manager??
3. Do I already have Busybox installed? If yes, where can i access it from? If not, should I and how do I install it?
4. Can i flash custom ROMs now??
5. Is there anyway I can get Voodoo Sound and Color?
6. How do I unroot?
Apart from these questions, my main question is where do i go after rooting? What all possibilities(eg Apps, OC/UV, Tweaks etc) do i have?? What all can i do? And how do I do that??
Thanks a lot!
PS: Sorry with for the noobness, but i am just too scared to do anything wrong and mess up my phone

answers:
1. i suggest you use ext4 file (also called lagfix) after u flash custom roms, no point in using it on the stock rom
2. CWM recovery should already be installed after u root.
3. Busybox is installed too after rooting (you dont have to do anything with it)
4. yes u can flash custom ROMS
5. voodoo depends whether the kernel you are on supports it
6. why do u want to unroot? well if you want to, flash the stock rom through odin in download mode
----------------------
not a noob, just a newb to xda. a thanks would be appreciated

1. Yes, that is what i want to do. But the problem is that the latest version of CF Root ext4 addon is v1.3, which was made for JVH i guess. Im unsure if it will work with JVT.
2. Is there any difference between CWM Rom Manager and CWM Manager(provided by Chainfire)?
4. Will the ROMs support CF root or vice versa??
5. Does CF support Voodoo??
6. Just in case.
Any CF Root user in this thread??!!
And what about apps, settings, tweaks, UV/OC, etc??
after u root, get a custom rom u prefer (im on darkys rom from darkyrom.com), get thunderbolt script (in dev section), root explorer or es explorer, titanium backup for backup^^, appzorter to sort the apps in the appdrawer (unless u have touchwiz which can do that already), voodoo control for lagfix and better sound (most kernel have built in the voodoo driver). the rest is up to u and read the description of our rom.
and u cant do anything wrong if ur not updating our bootloader and make a nandbackup in cmw, then ur safe and fast back where u came from.
Any app to uninstall the system apps??
I tried using Titanium but once it reaches the recovery mode, it says cant mount. Then installation aborted. :\

I have already flashed JVT, rooted it using CF Root and installed the CF Root ext4 addon.
Now i just want to know,
1. What is the difference between the CWM Manager provided by CF and CWM Rom Manager?
2. Will the custom ROMs be compatible with CF Root??
3. What all cool stuff(apps, OC/UV, tweaking etc) can i do after rooting?
4. An app to unistall the system apps.

[Q] CWM and ICS 4.0.4

Hi,
I installed the latest ROM android 4.0.4 for my galaxy note, I also Roote and I installed a CWM manager v2.0.
My version is:
Android: 4.0.4
Kernel: 3.0.15-N7000XXLRI-CL811902
My problem is that CWM does not operate. When I do a backup, the reboot I do not have menus for the backup!
Does anyone has an idea there?
what should I do?
thank you
which method did you use to root ?
can you enter a working recovery using three buttons ( vol up -power- home )
You should forget about cwm manager... Install philzz kernel LRI which is safe for brick bug and includes CWM...
cwm manager is not compatible

[Q] How to install CWM Recovery on GT-N7000?

Im using a Samsung Galaxy Note GT-N7000 with ICS 4.0.4. It's already rooted. I tried to install CWM Recovery using Rom Manager but it's failed. Please let me know a working method. :good: My build number is IMM76D.XXLRT. And also let me know how to use my galaxy note with 2 way call recording function. Do i need to flash a kernel that supports 2 way call recording?
Thanks.
you can install Philz or speedmod or hydracore kernel using mobile odin. that will also install CWM.. you can use the Xposed App with Xposed Tweakbox to get call recording. check in the themes and app section

Download one of the Custom Roms (which may have the wanted Mod already), copy it to your card.
Install a Philz Kernel, reboot into recovery, and install the Custom Rom.
If there is a Mod for 2-way-call you can install it on any Custom Rom you choose.
when its done and u can use cwm, don't forget, u can brick your note if u do a whipe on unsafe stock kernel.
first flash a safe kernel like philz kernel or update to official jelly bean an then flash philz kernel with cmw incluced.
I'm having the same issue cwm isn't rebooting to the custom reboot instead the stock android is coming back

Which recovery do you use? Maybe try to root via recovery menu.

Simply flash this -> http://download.chainfire.eu/supersu
After flashing Boeffla. It seems as I created an issue when porting from i9300 that erases (?) superuser after flashing Boeffla Kernel. Therefore, you may always flash supersu in a flashable zip (link above) and everything is good

Does this work for SM-N7505? or will it not recognize the SIM Card, because if it only works in 3G mode it's still worth it!
