G Flex auto copy/paste aggravating - LG G Flex

Hey, everybody. I can use some help! Ok, so I write lists of things to do on my phone. When I want to add to a list, I touch the screen to put the blue cursor into position to type. Of course, the cursor lands in the wrong spot so I have to touch the screen one or more times to put it in the exact spot (such as in the middle of a paragraph. Here's the problem: As soon as I touch the first letter I want to type, it automatically pastes whatever word the cursor was next to before I put the cursor into the spot I wanted. I have to constantly keep backspacing to erase that autocopied word. I've checked all the settings I could find on the phone but can't see how to turn this function off. I'll have to get rid of this phone if I can't fix this. I never had this issue on my last Galaxy phone. Please help!

kaiser 2 major issues! (opinion)

No need to repeat the plethora of good things about the kaiser.......BUT
Here is some issues that -in my opinion- need to be fixed (feel free to add your own)
1. when you select "when device is off, lock all the buttons except power button" it doesnt disable the keyboard slide from activating/turning on the device (usually in the most inappropriate moments) like when in your pocket
2. this issue is universal among all PPC devices, and its very annoying ( oddly enough no one else seems to think so). THE TOUCH SCREEN SHOULD NOT BE ACTIVATED WHEN THE PHONE RINGS OR FROM ANY OTHER KIND OF NOTIFICATIONS!!!!!!!
Thats why we have hard buttons! Picture this scenario if you will.
When the phone rings the screen shows the caller (the touch screen is not activated) if you want to take the call/or respond to a notification you can use the "phone/green" button to take the call (touch screen is still deactivated), if you need to used the touch screen you can then press the power button to activate it......this way you are not using the touch screen with your ear or in your pocket if a call or a notification goes unanswered
BTW there is a big issue that cant be solved.I'm only posting it in case HTC is reading this THIS PHONE WAS DESIGNED FOR LEFT HANDED PEOPLE!!!!!!
to be continued.....
why do you think that it "was designed for left handed people" ?
Hi, I just go mine yesterday but I can't really understand why do you think it was designed for left handed people ?

Scroll wheel and OK button are on the left But I find it convenient because this configuration combines nicely with the right finger for seamless navigation on the device

Sorry, I'm slow. If the scroll wheel and OK buttons are on the left, and I hold the phone in my left hand (because I'm right handed and I want the stylus in my right hand) then I would use my left thumb to access the scroll wheel and OK buttons, which seems perfectly intuitive. I must be missing something.....
well nunmber 1 you might have a point it does not realy bother me tho as i always keep my ppc in a case not my pocket so have never had the keyboard open on me.
Number 2 is a feature not a promblem. personaly I love that it comes on and lights up when there is a incoming call. Esp when im in a nosiey room ect and i would not be able to hear the ringer anyways.
number 3 well I just think your way off base here. Im right handed and I always felt the old wizard/tytn where the ones that where backasswards. But then again this is coming from someone in his mid 20's who grew up with game controlers with the main movement keys on the left so it just feels right to have the kaiser setup that way also. And being able to use the stylus in my right hand while useing the main control in left feels correct.

Ok, the keyboard slide is causing a problem for me (it turned on twice in my pocket as I got on my motorcycle) Ive only had it for two days
(i guess baggy pants could solve that...but its still a flaw)
On number 2, I think you misunderstood! I'm not suggesting that the SCREEN shouldn't turn on, but I insist that the TOUCHSCREEN (the touch function) is useless and annoying if it comes on automatically when the phone rings or when a text message comes in.
In the past I tried to use "TPEnable" and "TPDisable" in order to shut off the touch function, and when I had the HTC Wizard I would just reach on top and hit the power button after I answered the call (so that the screen wasnt on while I had the phone in my ear) but now, with the relocation of the power button on the Kaiser its harder to do
As far as the "lefthanded" issue is concerned, the idea is for WM6 to be used with ONE HAND, so the "holding the stylus with my right hand argument" that many people have suggested would not be popular with the WM6 folks, since a big part of advertising their new OS was its "ONE-HANDED OPERATION"
I agree though, that if we look beyond the "one handed use", the interface is intuitive and easier to use with two hands
Well....no one can do anything about the hardware at this point but I hope someone can shed some light on the touchscreen issue
Thanks

nahhh !!
Picture the keyboard slided out already ... that's what the OP meant by -->> LEFT HANDED
I think it's only 1/2 crippled ... because at the HTC home today, you have the option to rotate the screen at 90 >> L << degree angle ... though making it more then "right-hand-do-able" in landscape games and the buttons are at my right thumb --->>>( keyboard CLOSED by the way )
it's only when the keyboard are slided out that it becomes "left handed" ...works for some due to right hand stylus
MY GRIPE is with the "VIDEO CONFERENCING" camera !!

I'm throwing in the FRONT camera issue !! haha ha

help-Replacing the screen lead to frustrating keyboard/button issue.

After replacing the screen and reinstalling the HTC Rom I am having the most frustrating keyboard/button issue.
When I turn it on everything works great, it's like a new phone. No problems.
When the screen shuts off, either manually or automatically and I turn it back on is when the problem arises. When using the phone with the keyboard, the phone seems to randomly after any key (only on the keyboard) push the center button the front.
Lets say I'm typing in Word, after the 3rd character for example it will save and quit. In SMS it will make a new line. In explorer it will bring up the context menu. Each time the buttons on the from of the phone will turn on, which they shouldn't be doing.
I can use the buttons on the front to do what ever and the problem wont come up, only with the keyboard.
What could I have screwed up while replacing the screen? The thing I don't get is the correlation with the screen shutting off.
Fixed
I fixed it and I'm posting here in case someone else has the same problem.
The faulty part was the scroll wheel and it's little PCB board. I replaced that and now it works. I also discovered that if that piece is missing, you will have the same problem.

Screen scrolling out of control---HELP!!!

Last night i replaced the LCD screen on my wing as it had cracked a few weeks ago. Installation went flawlessly however, now when slide open or closed, the wing scrolls like crazy. For example, if I go into the calendar, then slide open, the calendar will just start scrolling through the months (to the future, as if pressing the down button on the dpad) and won't stop until I hit another button. Another issue is that the right button (directional) doesn't work unless I push it really hard.
I've taken it apart and put i tback together severla times and still can't figure out the issue. Can someone help me trouble shoot please?
one morething...i've been running the phone just to see what happens, and now it won't go into sleep mode because of the constant automatic scrolling.
please help!

Bad spen behaviour

Hi,
The SPen of my n7000 is not working properly. After a few seconds "writing", it stops writing. Some seconds later it begins again. Then stops.... intermitently. It seems like there is a problem in the pressure sensitivity or something. The problem began some months ago, first failing once in a while only, then more and more frequently, to the point of not being usable today.
Funny thing is that the cursor is shown correctly, it never stops moving. The spen only stops "writing".
Ok, so I bought a new SPen. The new one writes only when I press the button (and I have to press hard). When I don't, it does not write, unless I use the pen almost parallel to the phone. Cursor is shown fine too. Still, it seems it works OK only when I keep pressing the button. But then there's other problem: the pen writes even if not touching the screen, so writing decently is impossible. Quite similarly like here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=viDDKGPj2FI. I took off the pen's button, but then there is no potentiometer inside (as opposed to the original spen).
Any idea how to fix this? How to tell the spen to keep the button pressed by default, or to rever behaviour? Which system file does control this?
Thanks!
L.

Please help - screen randomly becomes nonresponsive - but only partly - please read

Now there is another long topic on freezing, but its basically about 10seconds freeze , then things normal and stuff. Mine is different so I made a new topic.
Have sprint note. On Marshmellow now but happened on Lollipop as well.
The problem is:
After several hours of use, or may even a day, the phone just freezes....partly. Let me explain. Basically if you touch anywhere on the screen, it won't register the touch. If you hit the hard recents button, it'll show recents, but you can't click any program (it doesn't register your touch). When it first happened I thought I needed a new screen, but quickly found out I probably don't: If I hit the nav bar, it will pull down full screen, and if I have it full of notifications, I can click any of the notifications, whether its near the top, middle, or bottom, and it registers the touch and sends me to the app. But then again, at that app, the screen doesn't register. Even if I touch in the same place on the screen where I clicked the notification that sent me to the app. But the nav bar still works. It recognizes the touch, and will pull down full screen, and I can click anywhere on the screen and my touch will register. Also if I hold the power button and the reboot options come up (which on mine has option from top down to bottom, I can click any option on the screen, and it will register my touch. But if I hit the home button, the whole screen is non responsive. So I have a partial freeze. The whole screen doesn't work, but then the whole screen will work when I pull the nav bar down, so im totally confused. I already tried usually differnt launchers, but same thing, after while, screen will be non responsive
If I reboot then everything works fine and normal, so I doubt its a screen issue. Because if its broke its broke. Also tried a hard reset, problem still came back. I guess it may be an app clashing problem but I have over 100 apps it could be any one of them
Has anybody experienced something similar?
I had a buddy give me an LG Lucid3 that had a similar issue... It actually got worse over time and the touchscreen totally stopped working. (He thought) I took it apart and actually the connection was good. Put it back together and just kept rebooting it multiple times in a row. Finally, the touch started to work a little an for some reason I thought to go and download an antivirus program. The phone had 11. Got rid of them and phone has been working fine for a couple weeks now. Idk if that's your problem but I figured I'd share this experience because I've never seen anything like it.
