Hello, X510 just arrived in my country, Morocco
Pretty nice phone , well at least not bad (price about 84 USD).
but I've noticed that the battery is not calibrated , It shows 100% but when I restart the device, then it shows 80 or 70.
and then the battery goes to 0% in less than 2 hours.
some say that infinix fix that bug in updates, but my phone is up to date 23/01/2016 .
anyone have the same Probleme, or solution ?

Try draining the battery to zero, keep it turned off, and fully charge to 100%. Turn the phone on and see if that helps.
The Battery Doctor app from Playstore can also help clear and reset your battery stats. Be forewarned its a huge file and uses alot of RAM. I disabled it after using it.
You may also have a lot of apps running or running in the background that will drain your battery dry (e.g. Facebook, Internet, What'sApp, various games, etc.). Greenify is another app that will help close those pesky Apps running in the background).

I am having this issue as well. It happens when using powerbank and non-infinix charger (the percentage raised up from 30% to 91%).
My batt was at 36% and when charging under powered with pb, instead of increasing batt %, it was decreasing LoL. Then it suddenly showed 91% when powered off while charginf by pb.

The last couple of days I've got a weird problem. When my battery is fully charged everything seems okay and it drains in normal speed (compared to stock).
But when my phone runs out off battery and i start to charge in the beginning everything seems fine.
But suddenly it can go from 75 to 100% in 1 minute. When i look at the stats in MIUI ROM it seems like it's not at same height as it was the last day of 100%. Maybe only 80%.
Sorry for my bad English, but i hope it makes sense.
I've wiped battery stats in CWM. But is it possible that the phone actually is only 80% charged, even though the indicator shows 100% after wipe?
Because if the ROM think the battery is charged and wipe stats it will afterwards only charge to that point and the battery maximum will decrease over days?
If that's possible, how do i full charge the battery? Just leave it in the charger or?
I hope you can understand what I mean.
Thanks in advance
Hello
Does your phone charge to fx 75% and after that doesnt get higher until after you restart the phone?

Yes excactly. But the numbers differs.
Today it charged to 100% though.
Got the same problem?

have you try calibrate your batt again
yes my friend have this problem too, maybe there is software bug
After flashing Celebration HD 2.0.1b I first used Battery Calibration from market to wipe battery stats. Afterwards the battery indicator problems started.
Yesterday i decided to wipe battery stats manually in CWM and drain to phone to 2% before charging, and afterwards I was able to fully charge the phone.
So maybe the bug in is Battery Calibration app?
I decided to install Juice Plotter to monitor the battery and compare it to one build in in MIUI. Just to get some more data.
Hello again
Yes i had the same problem as you, with my previosly 2 lg optimus 2x, and returned them because of the problem you mentioned. I am on the third op2x and luckily this work good
So if i were in your position i would try to go to the dealer and shift the phone with another lg optimus 2x.
Best regards

The user said that he started to have problem after a new rom and wiping battery stats, changing phone for that is not the smartest move at all. Is like changing phone because your rom doesn't work.
I have a similar problem, after you wipe battery stats you don't have a reliable indicator, for me the phone took 3 hours to get from 99 to 100%.
I also noticed that my miui ( 1.8.5 same for 1.7.29) doesn't update battery stats when the screen is off so all those plotter don't work, and i think this messes up with the battery indicator (I guess the phone doesn't have enough data to make a decent estimate)
I think is miui + wipe battery stats that can be problematic
I know that but i am just saying that i also had the same problem with the stock rom.
Best regards

How old is the battery? How many cycles does it have?
I know from laptop Li-Ion batteries that the voltage vs. capacity is not linear.
When discharging, the voltage will steadily drop to a "wear-level" where it will jump to an almost depleted level. When charging, this "wear-level" will be at the top.
Why I am telling this? Because if this mapping is kept in SW and you wiped it, Android needs to relearn it again. So at 1st complete charging/discharging you would see a % sudden drop/raise, but at the next cycles it would be linear with time (although the total time will be smaller than a new battery).
When laptop/phone battery tips talk about calibration, it is so whoever monitors the voltage (circuit in battery or SW) to know were the wear drop will be, so your estimates to be better.
As an example, I had a very old Thinkpad that did not have any calibration, and it would discharge to about 40% and drop to 5% within seconds. But when charging, it would raise steadily to 70% (from that 5%) but 70% to 95% in seconds. After years of use, that percentage gap would just increase (40-5 got 60-5, 70-5 on discharging).
PS: my current Thinkpad has 4 years and the battery capacity is 49% with 150 cycles. But this one has a nice feature where if the battery was above a certain percentage, plugging AC would not charge it (and thus save a few cycles). I used it set at 70%.
PS: LiIon batteries have cycle count, heat and time as main enemies. Also don't like prolonged (think storage) low charge.

Hi
My Nexus One just completed one year by this july.
And my problem is that My battery switches OFF at 23% battery.
That is, when it reaches around 23% it suddenly show 0% and switches off.
similarly when i charge the battery after around 75+ % it suddenly jumps to 100% percent and says charging completed.
I tried manually deleting the battery stats file.
I tried the Battery Calibration tool.
I tried charging the mobile to 100% as soon as its starts to shut down.
But still the same issue.
Is there a way to calibrate it or do i need to buy a new one ?
My rom : OxygeN1mod
I am getting around 6 to 8 hours if i use Gprs or wifi.
Another query :
in ebay.in 3200mAH battery is 9800 INR which is too high for me ( i bought my mobile for 14000 INR)
1400mAH battery is 2400 INR.
So is it better to buy a spare 14oomAH battery or a 3200 Battery ?
Please help me.
THanks in advance
Any one , please help
Tha'ts not normal if it's shut down at 25% ! ! !
Normally at 10%
Should buy à New One
If you don't care about the design of your n1. I suggest you the 3200 one

I heard that you can't fully charge the battery while the phone is running, it has too leave room since the battery is in use at the same time it's charging so it wont overcharge and ruin the battery.
So I was recommended to shut the phone off once in a while to charge the phone to full 100%.
Mine is now starting to die at around 20% but when new it died around 10%, newer lower.
But then again the battery could just be going bad.

Install de battery calibrator (for nexus one) search in the google play
Verify the field "battery age" and set to 100%
Reboot and give a full charge
Drain normaly the battery, and look the percentage of the shutdown
If your phone shutdown on the 15%, set the battery age to 85% (100%-15%)
If dont work try:

I have no complains with the speed of my z1 and its reliability. But after awhile (i have been using my phone for 1 year and 4 months now and no complain until now), my phone shuts off to 0% right after usign it for almost 30 minutes of extensive use (playing summoners war/family guy). But from the past yr i have no problem even if its too hot and drains the way it normally should, not until now. it is really annoying. It drains pretty bad from 100% to 70% then 30% to 13% then shutsoff . It still drains even when on sleep right after usign it for 30minutes. For example, playing for like 30 minutes, the battery will turn from 100% to 72% . Then after awhile on sleep for 30 minutes, the battery will be turn to 40-50% then the rest of the history will follow....
Not recently, i have noticed that waiting for my phone to cool off after it shuts off , will have it again another 50% of its life when u turn the power on again.
Before, i charge my phone for like 3 hours , now 1 hour and its full. :/ U Can really see the fault around here.
What to do ?
I have tried using Battery Calibration, Set CPU - all did not work.
This manifested after 2 months now.
Is my battery at fault?
what can i do?
Do i need to use another stock like CM12?
My phone is up to date.
Please i need ur help so badly. Any replies or same situations will help me .

Obviously your battery is at fault.
You battery must have expanded and this will go ON
See at the back of your device where is battery is located. It may have been little changed shape .I.e not flat surface little bugled
Go to service centre ASAP

Thankyou for that!
Hi i bought a galaxy tab s 2 about 2 weeks ago it's really good device but yeaterday when the battrey goes 1 % the horizantal lines appear on the screen and after 5 secends mt tablet shtdown is it normal on s series to shutdown like this in low battery or it's my tablet problem??
can confirm mine has done this once...will post if I have further issues
Same on both my 810 and wife's 710. Usually happens as it goes below 10%. Lucky you get down to 1%. Received with 5.0.2 + 2 additional updated have not corrected the issue. If it did a normal shutdown that might be ok, it's the way it dies that concerns me.
Same happened to me once when battery was at 2%.
Same here on T715 .. don't like it and freaked out when it first happened .. glad to know it's not only me but still don't like that it dies like that!!
guess the % battery display isnt as accurate as we think,so if it shuts down at a higher % than 0% its because the battery really is below the dangerous values.
If LiPo batteries fall below a certain voltage, there is no coming back .. means the battery is DEAD.
so be glad that the safety shutdown works so well, and dont let your batteries run that low often !!!!!!!
ideal is a charging state of 40-80%,so better to charge it short more often ,instead of a 0% => 100% charge all the time.
This will increase your battery life !!!

Agreed. That's what the low battery warning is for.
Mine does it consistantly at 15%. Ridiculous.
I got a 810 and I got the same problem!
I hope it's just a badly calibrated battery and not a bad batteryconnector! http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...lickering-power-problems-like-tab-12-2-a.html
Hi All
I bought Nokia 7 Plus yesterday and set it up, but the battery drain so fast. I left my phone to sleep with wifi on throughout my sleep it drains 10% with just pushing notifications from FB, like everytime I will get FB Notifications and not open it it will drain 1% of the battery.
Remove fb and see magic
U just answered to your question. It's not the phone, it's just crappy facebook app.
Facebook Lite is the way to go if you need FB, I think - normal version eats battery a lot, and I'm not sure if that will be fixed at all - seems like they don't care.
If you have to use Facebook, use Facebook lite or alternative apps like Friendly.
Hi, I got Nokia 7 Plus yesterday and started using it today. Initially with the battery percentage came with package, battery draining was slow. After doing first charging from 21% to 100%, battery is draining too fast. It is common for some batteries and takes some charging cycles to get battery optimized. If battery draining is happening too fast even after 3 to 5 charging cycles then there would be some fault with battery.

I got my phone day before yesterday & its now running Android 8.1 with the May security patch. Since the time of use, I've charged my phone only twice & both times charged it up to 100%. I feel the batter is draining. Please have a look at the screenshots and let me know if the battery consumption is fine or its draining fast. The battery dropped by 1% in 4 mins of the phone being idle with the display closed. Also the stock camera app is consuming a lot of battery.
I can confirm a very hard drain, too. No way to reach 7-10 hours of usage.
i'm getting about 5-5.5 hours of sot with moderate usage... Checked the app usage..where it shows PUBG used 12% battery in 38 min, 45 min of youtube drain 8% 26min Instagram drain 5%...I don't use fb much on phone when needed i mainly use fb lite... .i don't use auto brightness. so my brightness level is always 45%.. in overnight( well it's like 5-6 hours) battery percentage dropped 4%.. Wifi is always on and GPS is always on high accuracy.. in power saver 19 apps are allowed for background activity...
Battery drain
I just purchased my phone yesterday and used it for some time. I put it on charging at around 20% and didn't use it until full charge. After it got completely charged and then I just used it for few mins it went down 100% to 95% very fast; later after few mins I started suffering net and did misc stuff for about an hour it went down to 85%. Next morning I saw the battery % was 81%. Is this normal? I mean how can it last for 2 day as the company claimed. Aslo I am android 8.1.0

This has been a comman issue with Nokia 7 plus, including me. My battery had high discharge rates in both Oreo and Pie. However, post March security update, I am seeing some good battery life. I would also suggest to update to Pie and update Device Health from Play Store. Hope it works out for you.
try letting the battery drain to 0% then charging it to 100
TA1062 with build 00WW_3_51F here.
Before the march update, the phone could last for almost 2 days with moderate usage.
After the march update, I barely have 5 hours of standby time, and like 2 hour of usage time. This is crazy ! Not heating, but also randomly shuts down while it says like 65% remaining battery. I haven't changed anything else !!!
Does anyone have any idea how to improve this ?
