Hi guys, made some search on google and here on the forum, but no luck so far.
I have a USB gamepad (snes like), bought to use with a N7 2013: works flawlessly, tried 2 different otg cables
Tried on my Moto X (not rooted), but no luck at all. Any pendrive is found and works, but no luck with the pad
Also tried running the chainfire's USB Host diagnostic, but the pad is not recognized
Any hint?
thanks!

I have a Moto X (love it) and in the market for a bluetooth spreakerphone for the car and curious what expererience or recommendations some would have.
The two I've looked at are the Motorola Roadster 2 and Jabra Freeway.
Thanks for the input.

Did you ever get anything? Motorola is running a sale right now and the Roadster 2 looks nice.
Hey everyone,
I got my Moto X last week and so far i love it but i can't seem to get OTG to work. I bought a cheap OTG cable from amazon and i'm trying to use my PS3 controller with this phone. The PS3 controller does light up for a second but the phone never seems to see any inputs from the controller. My Nexus 7 running (rooted) 4.2 can do this just fine. What am I doing wrong? My phone is stock, not rooted

I would guess that the ps3 driver is not built in to the stock kernel. Gonna have to wait for unlocked bootloaders and custom kernels.

Hey you're not the only one having issues with your PS3 controller. The OTG cable worked just fine on my Moto X, it's just the controller. I used my PS3 fight pad from Madcatz and that does the trick!
Hi All
I was just wondering if anyone knew if the Moto X definitely supports AptX for bluetooth audio? I have searched around these forums for a clear answer but haven't found anything. The device isn't listed on AptX.com even though most of the Moto Droid series is, and there really hasn't been official mention of it in the specs.
If anyone out there could confirm this, and know that they have had it working on their AptX devices, I would appreciate it very much! Thanks in advance for any help.

I "think" it does. The requirement for AptX is bluetooth 4.0 which the MotoX has.

I doubt it. Moto has to pay for aptX if they want it. Then they would have marketed it. Although it's nice to have it though. Honestly I could not tell the difference with my other aptX supported phone.

So the first generation Moto X does not support MHL out (phone simply shuts off as soon as MHL cable plugged in)
Does 2nd get Moto X support MHL out?
http://gadgets.ndtv.com/motorola-moto-x-gen-2-1962 Says no
http://www.anandtech.com/show/8523/the-new-motorola-moto-x-2014-review says yes
which one is it?
And if it doesn't that is extremely disappointing considering my old HTC One S supports MHL
Plugging a cable into your phone to share the screen is so 2011.
Most of what you want to accomplish here can be done with other means, e.g. using a Chromecast to cast your screen, watch your videos, see your pictures, listen to your music, or do whatever else.
I'd like to know also. I have a camp in the boonies (no internet) so we always use mhl on rainy days. If mhl doesn't work, and since there is no IR blaster, I might just be passing on this phone, as much as I want it! Ugh.
You can't mirror your screen with a chrome cast

I believe in Lollipop you'll be able to

From what I heard last year's had no mhl and that article claims that had it too. So they are misinforming people on last year's model at least, therefore are not credible.

Thank you. I'll look into that. To bad my new Moto x don't have root. Does this app work for dlna or just chromecast?
Hello everyone, I have a Motorola Moto XT1052 and I'm looking to use the screen cast option for mirroring to any TV through casting HDMI dongles. But I can't find the right one. Did anyone find and used anything for this cell phone?
Which one works the best: Google Chromecast? EZ Cast or any other dongle?
Can someone help me?
