well the 1058 is the AT&T model so i would think you would beable to flash it but the big question is. is the device unlocked for use with claro or is it running different firmware.
have you tried putting in a sim card from a different carrier and see if it accepts it. if it does then it is just unlocked and i will walk you threw how to get to 4.4 and root access if you want it
its not unlocked i put in an att sim card and it ask me for the network unlock
does my boot loader has to be unlock even if i wanna put an official rom like say atts rom
thanks

Buying from at&t

If I am reading everything correctly, the att version is xt1097 and has a locked bootloader. There is no way to unlock the bootloader and there is no root method for a moto x bought from att. Am I correct in this assumption? :crying:

Yes you are correct. The original Moto X (carrier locked) bootloaders can be unlocked using "Sunshine", there is a potential it will become available for the 2014 version in the future, but I don't think it will be anytime soon.
Secondly, there is no reason to get the AT&T version because rumor is Motorola is going to enable all the AT&T supported LTE bands in the Pure version: http://www.androidcentral.com/moto-x-pure-edition-xt1095-may-soon-get-more-lte-bands

RSD Verizon xt 1060 to ATT xt1058?

Can this be done anyone have the link? I have a ATT account but xt 1060 phone not unlocked 5.1 stock. Everything works except my data is being eaten up as the phone is on Global and LTE. Can i flash xt 1058 ATT firmware 5.1 for all to work right?
Short answer: No
Longer answer: No, you can't flash the AT&T firmware to the VZW model and expect it to work properly. As I told you in your other thread, you need an AT&T model if you want it to work properly on AT&T. At the very least, get the XT1053 as that will work better since it has more GSM support.

You can flash any xt1097 rom marshmallow if you have bootloader unlocked.
Brazil is xt 1097 too so is the same rom with the same band suport.

Moto G6 Cricket Version

Hey, was wondering if somebody could tell me if the cricket version of the Moto G6 is actually unlocked and if they have different firmware than the unlocked version.
They have it on sale and I'd be very interested if I knew that I could flash roms
Bump
Nope. Bootloader cannot be unlocked. End of story. Anyone else tells you different is lying. Cricket is AT&T. Locked bootloaders. Not unlockable.
