[q] galaxy tab p1000 india

Hi,
i want to update my device with this stock rom available [stock rom][2.3.6][MULTI-LANG] P1000XWJQ8_P1000PHNJQ1_P1000XXJPZ ...in the android development forum..
my device is
PDA : P1000DDJM8
PHONE : P1000DDJM2
CSC : P1000DDJM1
m running stock froyo 2.2 ..my question is that can i update my phone with this above mentioned rom ..as in india only 2.3 is available via kies ..
and is the procedure same as mentioned in the forums via odin ..or do i need another method for update ..plz confirm ..

Yes it is perfectly possible to flash jq1 on galaxy tab for india

[Q] OTA Updates

Hello
I have a O2 UK G Note on stock firmware KKA / Rom KK5 . I have attached to Kies and it states I am on the latest FW. I have seen on this site newer FW for the euro Note. Why dont I get the OTA for this newer software ?

If your Note is a Network locked phone, then you should wait till they release for the update. if not try with Kies.

[Q] i want to change my Note N7000 firmware

i bought my galaxy note N7000 and update to jelly bean did not come to my country yet, so i updated it manually through firmware from Smmobile.com that came for devices in Hong-Kong , but it turned to be that the firmware does not have Arabic language , so when the update comes to my country LEBANON , what should i do to change the version to the one dedicated to my country? noting that i also have rooted my phone to increase clockwork in it , so help me guys, what should i do ?

The Stock Rom for Algeria or UAE has Arabic support (JPLSB). Install with PC Odin for unrooted stock Rom.
Or use my Pristine All Languages with working Arabic Support in v2.3.

i downloaded the UAE Rom, should i install it normally like the first time? my device is rooted, i havbe odin on my computer, will this affect my data or settings? i dont want to wipe my data.
And please what advantages comes with your pristine Rom.

network problem and battery drains very quickly

Hi,
I'm a new member of forum. I have a problem with m'y note 5 flash a new ROM because I had a problem with an update and i didn't boot. The recovery have not repaired this problem. I download a firmware on SamMobile site. My note 5 is the SM-N920I model if you have an original rom to flash with odin I'm interested

May I know how to upgrade this model SM-N920S to 6.0.1? May I know why it still 5.1.1 no matter how many times I press software update?

Hi I'm quite new too in the note 5 section and just got a used mint one because my N6 broke down.
Anyways, you can just do an odin flash for your said model (+ if it's a carrier model, be sure to check too).
If you want a custom rom, you just too just flash TWRP on top of you current rom then flash what ever custom rom you want. I'm currently on XStock V2 going as a daily driver

Flash with Odin in download mode.
Just get it downloaded for now. I/someone can elaborate on the instructions once you've acquired the rom. The download time is quite long.
