This is my kernel based on 2.2.2 kernel released by LG! This kernel has LG touchscreen fix and I've added OC from HERE, ext4 and btrfs support (btrfs is experimental) and VPN support (tun.ko module).
If you would like to use this kernel: http://www.multiupload.com/H3HQT7WMSY
Do not forget to make nandroid backup first.
Packaged in koush's anykernel for compatibility with any rom.
PS: Thanks to Mik_os for his patience
PPS: With my kernel I managed to use 806Mhz and it's works very well and it's stable for my phone.
Could you define optimised OC? How is it different from the OC supported by other kernels.
Thanks.

I used a new patch and this one, modify only 2 kernel files!
I can go up to 806MHz, which is really the top frequency my phone can handle. And amazingly enough, the cpu spike isn't there What changes did you make?
Work like a charm, but lack insteractive mode in setcpu and when you put it in power mode it stay at max freq. Thanks for your work buddy.
hope you include this on your next ROM release.... more power to you sir!
Dook - is it the same updated OC code that Mik used in his latest 2 builds ?

Arrrrgh this does not contain any of the patches needed by Gingerbread to function at least remotely fine .
Tried this kernel with LOLv1.2(froyo2.2) ROM,,Doesnt even stand up to SIppolo's super optimised kernel..After flashing this rom, phone got a little slower but like u said no more cpu spikes !!! THnx for posting

so this actually worked? would flash and and test it on some games. and would post my feedback after. Thnx!

Anyway, i prefer use my phone at 729MHz or 768MHz!
yep.
confirmed, cpu spike is not there.
thanks!
Can you define which is the LG touch fix? I thought that LG never released a fix for the touch bug...

can anyone confirm this?
is it just for 2.2 or is 2.2.2 affected?
Can I flash this kernel into my AmberHome ROM (2.2)?
it has so small transitions in speed like from 600Mhz u cud scale upto 645Mhz..I like this
EDIT: yes u can check it out on any rom..It will work on any rom as it is packages like koush's style
HTC has put the source code of the IS kernel on its developers' page. So, could anyone please compile a OC kernel? I believe I am not the only one expecting a performance boost here... So could anyone please compile such a kernel? Even 1.2GHz will do.
Thank you!!!

l0st.prophet is currently working on one. I'm sure other people are too, or will be soon.
Hello!
I'm looking to overclock my Galaxy Note which is currently running the latest CM9 nightly. I tried Tegrak Overclock but I got an error when trying to run load the module. Would I be right in assuming that it requires a custom kernel, rather than the provided CM9 kernel? If so, do any custom CM9 kernels exist yet? (from what I can tell from looking through the Development forum, there doesn't seem to be)
Thanks in advance!~

Yes, your assumption would be right, stock CM9 kernel cannot be o'clocked.

anybody knows how to overclock a GPU?
reserved....
Hi,
By using a custom kernel with overclock abilities and using an app or a script to set the overclock...
Check the dev sections to find the kernels... and I advice you to read closely each OP of the kernel threads...

You must use a custom kernel that supports the overclock, after you can choose the frequency with an app like TricksterMod.
Any chance to overclock the MTK6752
where should we start from ? to start overclocking this ,......... or making a custom kernel for it
