There is an option for status bar temp. : )
there is no pay app on my device but i use pay game
I pay for an app every single time I like it.
Even if I'll just use it a couple times.
I'm old enough to remember when computer software cost like $100 each and that's back when $100 was worth like $500 by today's standards. hahah
So a buck or two for apps is no problem for me.
I just hate it when developers stop developing an app after a few months.
Or instead of updating the app, they come out with a second app and make you pay for the second app instead (Pro Camera).
But then there are retard companies like Navigon who want you to pay $40 for their map software when Google Maps is free and way better. And you can download offline maps with Google which negates Navigon's worth.
I also try to donate to dev's who don't sell their software.
And I'll donate to ROM or Theme developers fairly often.

The app's author made a video of it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD5WD-HDagM&feature=player_embedded
EDIT: Looks slow because I think the video was made using the Android Emulator rather than an actual device. Just pointing that out before folks start going "omgitsslowzz"
just purchased and it does seem a lot slower than LP. luckily i was able to return within the 15 minutes.

So far, other than the nifty new animations, app drawer, presets, it looks the same as the free ADW.Launcher which I currently use and my favorite. More than likely I'll buy it, once I finish watching the video.
Differences between ADW.Launcher and ADWLauncher EX
ADWLauncher EX is based on the ADW.Launcher opensource code with a lot of new additions and improvements, like for example:
5 different app drawer styles/behaviors
3D Nexus One like applications drawer
2 different plain vertical applications drawers styles, the “old one” and a new fast and smooth one
2 different Iphone-like horizontal applications drawers, a traditional paginated one and a new one with continuous fling
Different desktop transitions (8 at the moment): new animations while navigating through your desktop screens. Try them all, they’re crazy!!!
New Icons configurations/look and feel: Tweak your desktop icons, change its sizes, add coloured backgrounds, change font size, color, etc!
New fast presets mode: Quickly change the whole desktop configuration by 1 click!
Editable desktop icons for applications, shortcuts and folders!
Lots of code improvements
More, more more to come!!

What if I already have the free ADW.Launcher? Does buying EX mean I have to reset all my options and homescreens, or is there a way to transfer them over?

Probably new shrug. Try backing it up and see if it works.
It worked! but you have to rename the original adw.launcher backup file to the EX backup file.
ADW.Launcher backup files:
adw_launcher.db
adw_settings.xml
Rename both to adw_ex_launcher.db and adw_ex_settings.xml
Course you'll need to readd your widgets though. But most of the settings transfer over.

You need to swipe down on the dock itself. Put an app in that 2nd dock, it'll make it easier.
Hm... LP still seems smoother to me. And LP still doesn't feel as smooth as it does on my N1 or Vibrant... guess I'll have to wait for a gingerbread compatible LP.
Hi guys! I use GoLauncher EX themes all the time on my Nexus and wonder if there's any alternatives?
There's ADW launcher EX and Launcherpro plus but you have to pay for them to get all the features.
I used Launcherpro for nearly 2 years and I tested Go launcher recently. There's so many options in Go launcher that so far I don't see any reasons why I'd use any other launchers for now.
There's other launchers too like spb shell (15$? lol),zeam, quickdesk and alot more.
But I haven't tested them :/.
ADW EX is pretty close to go launcher. Alot of options.

I'm a big fan of ADW EX. I've tried about all of them and always come back. You'll find people that love it like me and others that hate it, but I guess it's all about personal preference.
I've used launcher pro, asw, zeam, and go launcher and I much prefer go launcher. Fast, stable, lots of options, good widgets, and free.

I'm a big Launcher Pro fan but not being able to lock the launcher was killing me. I've tried ADW, Regina, QQ, and Go, my favorite is Zeam but it doesn't support scrollable widgets...
I'm sticking with GO for now as I can lock the screen so my son doesn't uninstall things nor can he move my homescreens
Ok, I've tried ADW. Works well, but if I compare it with GO Launched I would still prefer the latter.

the free version of ADW lacks a lot of features
to be as good as Go Launcher EX, you will need to purchase the paid version of ADW EX
it's really hard to find anything that can compare up to Go Launcher EX
even i'm in search of a better Launcher, but nothing measures up to now.
I do not dislike Go Launcher EX
just the people making themes for it are all into money, it's getting harder and harder to find good free themes
all the good themes that was available in the market were removed by the DEV and replaced with a paid version of the same.
Have a try

- Custom Launcher.
- No drain battery and memory
- Faster
- Complete
- Stable...
Best Regards,
I use go ex now, used to use adw ex, both pretty similar I just like that in go the screen transition are nicer and the fact that if a theme doesn't have a icon changed for a particular app, it puts the normal icon in a wrap around that fits with the themes icons, so the whole phone seems like its on the same theme :-D

ADW EX.
I've used Go Launcher, LauncherPro, and Zeam Launcher on the Note, but i'm using ADW EX because it's 100% smooth on 240 DPI, it's highly customizable, very stable (never crashed) and so on. A close second would be Go Launcher, but i don't like it that much. GL seems less responsive and it takes several taps before it reacts. Same on my Desire HD.
GO, GO, GO!
On my side, GO Launcher is by far the smoothest experience I had on the Note. I´ve tried several of them (including ADW, Launcher Pro, MIUI Launcher and last but not least VTL.Launcher, from which I came from and which I used all the way in the past).
I have tons of widgets & Icons on my Homescreen, which I use a lot (mainly messenger & S-Pen Stuff), so it´s kind of a hard experience my note has to go through
GO Launcher is the only one, which really gives me still a smooth experience...all the others got laggy with time.

Another vote for the ADW Ex.
Using it with my screen set to 240DPI, and I'm really amazed how fast my Gnote with this setting. I'm still awed how fast this combination is, that I sometimes spend a good minute or two just swiping my screen away just to see if eve slows down. It didn't.
Launcher Pro
It works very nicely on Cassies extra lite ....
I've used go and adw for years but my new addiction is ss launcher. Truly unique and for me has no lag and tons of options. Only two themes available but no matter because it can be so customized. Its worth a try imo
From the Beast : Galaxy Note

ssLauncher
I go for ssLauncher too.
I think the others may be fine at 240 dpi, but that is too small for me, so I am kinda forced to stick with 320. I wish it were otherwise.
OT, but I use another app launcher in all cases, either tsLauncher or Wave Launcher, and group my apps with Folder Organizer. In this way I am not dependent on the launcher for my app organisation, and I can swap launchers around at will without having to organise my apps in each one.
no more comments? adw ex?

Same here. Tried Nova but didn't like it.
Depends on your preference, and what you're looking for out of each launcher.
Bells and whistles are fun, and with the hardware of the Note 4, it'll handle most RAM guzzling launchers smoothly.
That said, you can't beat Nova for pure functionality.
HOWEVER, if you like a bit of eye candy, and use other apps (ie. LazySwipe, LMT) to compliment your launcher, then I'd suggest giving a few others a try:
1) Aviate - good balance of functionality mixed w/ a bit of Google Now intuitiveness. Bit of a battery hog, but not enough to complete hate it.
2) Next Launcher 3D - amazing aesthetics w/ a lot of customization. Borders on overkill, but is fun to play around with.
3) Buzz Launcher. Functional, w/ plenty of user-submitted skins to apply.
Nova Prime. Been using it for years.
FireKat V10 modded 5x6 TouchWiz launcher. Love it.

Try out the regular Nova Launcher. You get most of the features and can easily get the feel for the launcher. You can also easily see in the app what additional features you gain by purchasing.
I moved to Nova on my Note 3 and have used it consistently ever since. I've tried others but they never hold up against Nova. Nova is quick and responsive. Great support for widget and shortcut placement resizing and editing and no extemporaneous bloat that just slows things down.

And my response was: try out the free version and see if you like it. Only a few features are reserved for the paid version and they are visible in the launcher settings so you can see, after playing with the launcher, if those extra features are something you would want to pay for.
