If the information provided in this thread is correct, then strictly i-mobile IQ II is not 100% compatible with the cherry mobile one g1. So it is possible the twrp-flash will fail.
If you cannot find the twrp-zip files you want there is a workaround you can do. Flash a stock recovery image, then let your phone get the OTA updates. After the updates are done, you can reflash TWRP. You sure your phone is not rooted, coz that's another story?

TWRP-flashable update files are your best option. Sorry...

That why I need some one to make twrp flashable for me

I think for flashing with twrp we require "universal ota's" and also have to "unroot" the phone before installing update. Hope it helps.

SM-G870A with SM-G870F ROM

Hi everyone,
is it possible to put stock rom from european version of S5 Active to AT&T S5 Active? Do I have to change kernell as well, or just simply flash stock rom from G870F? Thanks

you cant flash stock G870F to your device, the bootloader is locked (research goes along way towards answering your question) the only way you would get the 870F is via a custom rom based on that device, and you cant flash any kernels no matter what.
so in short NO you cant do whatyou want,
you need to root your device, install safestrap and flash a custom rom if you want anything outside of stock.

NO YOU DID NOT UNLOCK THE BOOTLOADER, you only SIM unlocked the device for use on other carriers, you still cannot flash the stock G870F odin firmware to your device.
I'm not sure if that is 100% true. I think you can flash another but only if it is the same kernell. So if you are on 4.4.4 you can flash the same but you can't upgrade from there since the bootloader is locked. You can only upgrade an AT&T stock Rom.
Thanks for your reply. .....But i unlocked my bootloader with App called EZ-UNLOCK, is there any possibility that I still have locked bootloader....my android is 4.4.2.....Both G870A and G870F are similar in every Headwear. ....... do i need to flash kernel first......
Thanks

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY, EZ-UNLOCK app for locking/unlocking the bootloader and it said I did it successfully,
(1). My device is rooted.
(2). 4.4.2 Stock.
(3). No AT&T firmware Support
(4). Bootloader is unlocked. (if EZ-UNLOCK did it)
So what I need to do to flash G870F stock Firmware and Kernell or official 5.1 lollipop to my S5 ACTIVE G870A At&t, plz tell me Which KERNELL do i need and where can i download it.

If you truly have a SM-G870A then I highly doubt the app worked or we would all be using it. You can flash with Odin to any G870 with 4.4.2 or upgrade to 4.4.4 and flash that equivalent. But I wouldn't mess with it if you don't know what you are doing. 5 will be out soon. AT&T is just taking it's time and we are being very impatient.
I did a quick search of that app youve used there and it says IN THE TITLE its for the verizon S3, not only that the thread for this app says its not only not been updated since 2012 but will hardbrick your device if you use it on the later firmwares. That app is most likely lying about the bootloader being unlocked. At the end of the day it is locked and we just have to deal with it and work around it.

I assume you mean flashfire, as mobile odin does not work on our device. If you didnt, look in to flashfire, it will do what you need.

Alright, but back to my Question, is it possible?

Galaxy S5- Can I Flash A ROM With TWRP Instead Of Flashfire?

Hello, i'm new in this forum and i haven't flashed so many roms before.
in this tutorial:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/att...w-to-update-to-g870aoc5-5-0-keeproot-t3083841
they use flashfire to install lollipop rooted rom into G870A devices.
but i have a problem, i followed the steps to receive flashfire beta on my device but i never got it, i asked in g+ page to someone to share me the apk containing flashfire beta (the version that is required to do this), but he said me i have to change the date of my phone to july 1st because the app does not open at all, and it is true, by changing the date i was able to open the app, but i;m not sure about using it because i thing it is not the right version and i thing i can damage my device.
Can i use twrp instead? or is it safe to use the apk he shared to me?
Thanks
Much to the dismay of almost everyone here Twrp will not work on our locked bootloader phone.
Give a read here. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2969344

You havd at&t s5 active ,at&t locked the bootloader thats why we can't use custom recovery like twrp cwm . if u r in 4.4.2 kitkat i think u can use safestrap recovery..that process will install 5.0 rooted lollipop .i use the same process to update my att s5 to lollipop ..download the file flash through flasfire..

thanks! i'll ty that i hope it works.
but before trying this i, does anyone successfully installed the last flashfire beta? please would you share the apk, i would prefer using that since the tutorial looks very easy, im new using those kind of tools
I just used the latest beta to flash from rooted 4.4.4 to 5.0.1 Of3 without issue.

my problem is that i were not able to receive beta, does the latest google play public release work?

G870A ota update

I'm looking for latest ota.zip update for my G870A, I'm an oversea user so I can't simply download it from att network.
In detail I need G870AUCU2COJ3 to PB1, from PB1 to PB2 and finally from PB2 to PB3.
I used to get it from muniz_ri page, but unfortunately now I can't find the most recent updates.
In the end should be nice to have a discussion regularly update with new ota.zip update.
Sorry for my bad english, and thank you very much for any help!![emoji120]

Stable S6 ROM

I am new to rooting and flashing custom ROMS. I have an AT&T Galaxy S6 and I want to know what's the cleanest and most stable way I can root this device and install a custom ROM? I have been having issues since I received an over the air update from AT&T, and even when I reboot my phone to factory settings that update still gets pushed through. So my choice now is get a new phone or try a custom ROM and see if that helps.

If you're on a 6.x att rom (likely since you're talking about an update) you are out of luck for root.

Root/united arab emirates(xsg)/n770fxxu2btd4/android 10/2.1

Here you will find the boot.img.tar to root the above mentioned device. I am not responsible for any damage to your device.
Bootloader should be unlocked [emoji356]. Ensure you are on the correct firmware that is listed above. I have extracted and compressed the file that is needed. It has been tested and working. This should be installed using Odin 3.14.4 and flashed in AP slot. Once you have correct firmware flashed on device, turn off device, open Odin, put device in download mode, add boot.img.tar to AP click start. After flash completes device will be rooted. Setup device install Magisk Manager follow prompts.
WARNING...THIS PROCESS WILL REQUIRE A FACTORY DATA RESET ONCE COMPLETE. MAKE SURE TO SAVE OR BACKUP ALL IMPORTANT FILES.

Thats because its almost 2months old. I think Mega removes them after a certain time..not sure how long but I have ran into same issue.

Hmm...when I go to the About phone, it shows "United Arab Emirates", so so far so good...but when I go to Software Information, it shows Android Version 10, One UI version 2.0, and baseband version n770fxxu2atb6.
I just got the phone yesterday and short of putting in my Google account (through wifi) I did zero updates. I'm guessing the baseband you're listing is if I let the phone do software updates, and that I will be left with the most current baseband which is the one you're listing n770fxxu2btd4?
If you notice this is from May. Most versions have updated to U3 or S3. My 10lite is on U3 bootloader. The firmware is interchangeable. My version is Hongkong(TGY). I have flashed Arab Emirates firmware..Spain..and I am currently using Vietnam. I patched the U3 boot image without issue and all works fine here in good ol illinois using At&t
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Actually some versions are on S4 firmware now. I did not try it yet since its a security update so I'm not sure if boot image can be patched on that firmware.
