[Bug]Xposed v80 sdk21 x86 - Xposed General

On Asus Zenpad s8 (Lolipop 5.0) xposed installs and run fine.
The only problems is apps can't be installed.
Doesn't matter if the app is from playstore, device storage or other market.
Seems like part of ART is broken.
Please check the zip attached.

Xposed Lolipop (5.0) bug - notification icons corrupted

Steps to reproduce
Phone - Elephone P7000
OS:
Android 5.0 , stock firmware P7000_20150807, freshly wiped and reflashed (to ensure no other software interferes)
Steps:
Install Xposed ( xposed-v73-sdk21-arm64 ), reboot
Install an Xposed module (like Xprivacy or Gravitybox), activate and reboot
Install Viber or Terminal Emulator, reboot
Now whenever a notification by Viber or Terminal emulator appears, it looks "distorted" (colored noise, white lines, kinda psychedelic)
Also manifests with other apps, but most reliably with viber and terminal emulator (nearly 100% of the time)
Me got this too! So this bug is not a single user's mess-up.
i have too the same problem after i have install xposed v78 sdk21 arm64
i have test new v79 and have the same problem
i think is a conflict with android 5.0 only

Xposed 88.1 on Xperia Z3c with Android 7.0

I tried to install Xposed 88.1 on my Xperia Z3 Compact with rooted stock Android 7.0, but ran into a few problems:
1. Modules will not download. If I start a download, it immediately stops itself. I've worked around this by opening the repository source and downloading the APKs directly from the browser page.
2. Modules do not work, even though the framework seems to be installed and active.
When I run the modules, I get messages that say something like "system framework not responding" or "module not active in framework".
The modules in question include BootManager, GravityBox [N], Amplify, etc.
Is this a common problem? Is there a fix currently?

Is there anyway to install Xposed framework on Android x86 7.1 (32bit v89)

Hi everybody!
I'm trying to install Xposed framework on an Android x86 - v89, 7.1.2, SDK25 (installed over VirtualBox).
So I followed the official thread, and downloaded the apk and the zips for SDK25, version 89.
Than I unzipped the zips into the sdcard folder, copied exposed.prop to /system
and run flash-script.sh from the terminal (of the android x86),
than rebooted.
But when I open the Xposed installer app it says:
"Xposed framework version 89 is installed, but not active. Please check the logs for details."
When I'm trying to view the logs I get the message:
"Cannot read log/data/user_de/0/de.robv.android.xposed.installer/log/error.log (No such file or directory)".
I tried to do everything I found in order to fix it,
Gave permissions to the Xposed installer,
Created the error.log file myself,
Reinstalling the all Xposed (zips, and apk),
Reinstalling the all Android x86 OS,
And everything I found online..
I really looked out to every tutorial I found online but nothing actually helped or fit the Android x86 (involved Recovery mode which is not available in Android x86).
Anyone ever did such thing or can help me?
Thanks for your help in advanced,
James T. :fingers-crossed:

Is it possible to install Xposed on android x86 7.1

Hey,
I'm trying to install Xposed on Android x86 [android - x86 [.] org] android version 7.1
My biggest and most painful limitation is that I can't go into recovery mode, what makes this all Xposed installation into a nightmare...
What I did try to do is follow a tutorial of Xposed installation via binary file (what known on the Internet as installer.bin)
You can see the tutorial in here: [ h t t p s [://] www [.] youtube [.] com [/watch?v=eloJjAbWpxs]
And another tutorial that I also tried in here: [h t t p s [://] androidforums [.] com [/threads/guide-installing-xposed-without-flashfire.1071558/]
I ran the binary file
sh /sdcard/installer.bin

The CLI menu showed up and everything seemed to run just fine, it told me to soft reboot the system with the Xposed installer and that after that everything is going to work, but after every soft reboot (or regular reboot) the Xposed installer still showed that the framework is not installed..
Anyone knows about any other way to install Xposed on Android x86 (version 7.1)?
Or maybe can offer any alternative to Android x86 (used to use Remix OS, although I loved the all desktop like interface, Remix OS is discontinued and very very buggy so I gave up on it..)
* I also tried to install Xposed on Android x86 versions 6.0 & 5.1, nothing seems to work over there too...

HushSms Do not Work on Edxposed or LSposed

I have tried Edxposed and LSposed with Riru on Android 10 (Samsung A30) and 8.1 (Samsung j7 Prime), HushSms can not send Class 0 SMS. Then I tried Xposed from Magisk modules it also did not work because it says Xposed Installed but not Active" (This happen on my device because It is Samsung J7 Prime (Probably because of A/B partitions))". So I manually Installed exposed through exposed installer app. It worked amazingly.
So It proves there is some issues in Edxposed and LSposed that is why they can not send Class 0 SMS even they show Green message like properly installed in their respective manager apps. But they do not actually provide full functionality as compared to former Systemless Xposed Installer.
I managed to get it working with LSposed on my OnePlus 8 Pro rooted with Magisk running Android 11 (I've also flashed systemrw_1.32 for other reasons but I'm not sure if that made any difference here).
First you need to install LSposed through magisk, then install the HushSMS apk. Then enable the module through LSposed and give it access to system framework and all system apps (I'm sure some aren't needed but I haven't gotten a chance to see which are and aren't yet). Then you need to install the old xposed installer apk and run the app. It will say xposed is not installed, but this is fine. It seems the HushSMS apk itself just checks to see if this app is installed. Finally, you can reboot and it should work fine.
Also after installing the old xposed installer, you should see "HushSMS (version #) using Xposed Framework" in green at the top of the app if it's working.

You are a star sir!
I'm so glad I came across your post, I can confirm I have managed to get it working on my Samsung S20+ Android 12 with LSPosed Zgisk
I didn't need to install the systemrw, all I did was install the old xposed installer apk and gave access in LSPosed to system framework and a few other by typing "com.samsung" in search.
Thank you so much. ☺
