S7 Edge Keyboard Cover - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Accessories

Anyone have experience with this? Does it fit well? How feel to push the buttons?

check out youtube videos for the s6 edge + keyboard cover. I'm sure it is similar in build, if not better.

Personally, no, I think they're hideous and make the phone look like it's from 2003. But to each his own...I'm sure if you like physical keyboards then you'll like it.

I loved my SE P800, P900 and P990. So the design is one of my favorite...secondly I like physical keyboards.
I hope I will receive the cover on the next week.

hi, is there a support forum for this accesory?I bought this case only to realise that chinese language keyboard is not supported =/ just wonder when they plan to support if any?

I've had it on my edge for a few days and I like it. Had a discount code and a gift card so figured why not. Takes some getting used to but i can type pretty fast on it and autocorrect helps. I don't like that you have to press the alt button for a period but the dollar sign has its own key. The case itself isn't very protective and my spigen style ring doesn't stick to the back of it. Overall I like typing on it better than the actual software keyboard.

Did you have to do anything special to make it work? Mine does nothing.
Is stocker launcher required to be running? (mine is, still doesn't work)

Nope just put on the back of the case and the keyboard. What type of screen protector are you using?

just bought this keyboard cover for my s7 edge as well, but i cant get the physical keyboard to work, the screen is not resizing when the keyboard is snaped on

I have the case and Im going to get rid of it lol. It just doesnt feel right while typing on it and if you have any theme set up on your phone it will default back o the stock theme that came with the phone as well as set our keyboard back to the samsung stock one. The slim case without the keyboard does feel awesome though since its extremely minimal.

Could you provide some photos about that?I want to search one for my device.

I had same issue, didn't seem to work when I installed the cover but restarting phone with cover on fixed this issue. No additional software required.

Does anyone have any issue with the space bar on their keyboard case? It doesn't seem to register my space bar presses pretty frequently and is slowly driving me insane... Other keys are fine though, only the space bar has issues!
P/S I sent back mine to samsung once and they gave me a new set but when i went home to test the same issue remained

I have the asian version of S7 edge (SM-G9350) the key mappings are all just wrong. So disappointed. what a waste of money.

For those who are looking for S7 Edge keyboard photo, I attached the comparison with Priv.
Hope this helps.
Ps: Keyboard on priv is much more comfortable. on s7e its very hard one

has anyone seen this keyboard cover in silver color?
silver exists for the s6 edge but I can not find it for the s7 edge

It did pop up a message saying "samsung accessory update" when I first connected it, and downloaded some micro-update to get it to work.

Make sure you don't have any screen-protectors stuck to your phone before attaching the keyboard.
I had a stick-on double-side screen protector glued to my phone and after I attached the keyboard cover, keys worked erratically or not very well. It turned out that the extra thickness from the sticker (fractions of a millimeter, really) made the case not snap-on perfectly. As soon as I unglued its back, everything started working much better. I still have the front piece protecting the screen glued on (it doesn't interfere with the keyboard).

Multiple problems with the cover
Here's a list of problems the cover is causing that I've found so far:
1. The always-on display doesn't work when the keyboard is attached. Meaning you can't see the clock when the phone is in sleep mode.
2. If you start with the keyboard attached, then press the power button to put the phone to sleep mode, you'll see no always-on display. If you then detach the keyboard, the always-on display will show up, but it won't update! Meaning you'll see the same time displayed for hours afterwards (until you press the power button). Can be VERY confusing if you don't realize it.
3. When in Termux with the keyboard attached, you can see in htop that the 2 com.sec.android.inputmethod processes take about 95% and 30% of a CPU core. Also /system/bin/surfaceflinger is taking about 20%. As soon as you detach the keyboard, CPU usage goes down to reasonable near-zero levels. You can feel the phone getting a little warmer than usual, too.
4. The on-screen overlay behind the keyboard (one that receives keystrokes from it) is white! Why would they waste battery for displaying bright white which can't be seen? AMOLED is supposed to take less power when black so it's quite obvious it should be black. Displaying labels for buttons is pretty meaningless behind a hardware keyboard anyway. The bright white also casts a glow onto the rest of the screen which can be seen at night.
5. There's apparently no way to replace the stock hardware-keyboard app. It would be nice if its sources were available somewhere so you could remap / hack the buttons a bit. The euro key is pretty useless and it would serve way better as ctrl or tab, for instance. Personally I'd have it switch modes so that you could use WSAD for arrows and other letters for the rest of the important missing keys.
6. The split-screen view just doesn't work (in Marshmallow), it tells you you need to detach the keyboard first.
If not for these issues, my keyboard would probably stay attached most of the time. Because of those issues, I have to keep flipping it on and off.
Overall the keyboard's hardware is pretty nice, it feels smooth but provides the much-needed tactile feedback quite well. The fact you don't need to charge anything is awesome. The downsides are lack of backlight and the need to take up your screen space (unlike the better keyboard that the Captivate Glide had (I'll miss you, Cappy... maybe some day someone will port the latest Android to you...)).

Don't know why you don't look at a Blackberry if you're still super convinced you need a physical keyboard.
I've always found the ones you can add to your phone are clunky and not worth your time.

Because the Priv can't be rooted and you can't install any other ROM on it. Also, it's full of bloatware that you completely deactivate.
I had a Priv for almost a year, now I'm gonna sell it. I love sliding keyboards, but the whole device is just too big, too unergonomic (all those edges, it's really uncomfortable to make a phone call). Even the keyboard didn't fully convince me, I had way better keyboards in previous (Android and Windows Mobile) smartphones.
So after a brief period of using the S6 with they official keyboard cover, today I got an S7 edge and the keyboard cover. The keys are a bit bigger than with the S6 keyboard, its surface feels a bit better too.
But now that I've installed Lineage on it (one of the main reasons to get the S7 were custom ROMs), the system doesn't detect the keyboard by itself.
So I need to find the drivers for it to install them manually on Lineage...

[Q] Touch Screen Responsiveness

Device: Nook Color rooted to 1.1
I had my Nook Color in the car today (40 degrees or so), pulled it out to show her what it looked like rooted. While standing in the driveway showing her different things, I found the touch screen was overly sensitive. As I was scrolling through different things (the app list, twitter, facebook), the slightest touch would select/open an item. It normally doesn't do this. It was incredibly frustrating and almost unusable. I pulled it out later and it seems to be behaving like it normally does.
Does temperature affect the NC screen? Where they any touch screen changes in 1.1? Is there a setting to calibrate the touch screen? I can't seem to find one. Any other suggestions?
I tried doing a search on the forum, but the search crashed.
Thanks.

I don't know if it's placebo or not, but I feel like this app improved my screen response.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=934500
As for the other question, I would expect the screen to be less responsive in cold weather, but I don't have anything to base that on.
Guessing what you experienced was due to condensation on the screen. Doesn't take much and can be 'invisible' to you but the screen is sensitive to 'stuff' on the screen and will become overly sensitive if there is anything on it, like moisture, skin oils, etc .. a screen protector may help but unless it continues that is probably the cause.

What you experience is probably temperature related, but another thing to try is to increase the LCD screen density to around 190, 200, or a little more. For me, I get improved sensitivity, especially near the corners.
My daughter accidentally got a little water on the screen and it was a little erratic. I put it in a ziplock with a handful of rice for about 6 hours and it was like new.
I have owned 3 nook colors, the first one I owned freaked out when I used a damp cloth to wipe the screen. It exhibited some strange behavior and emitted some loud static from the speaker. It would not power down or anything... finally it just went back to normal, so I took it back to B&N and then went and bought one at walmart. I took it back because I thought I wanted the Viewsonic G Tablet. But after trying it I finally bought a Nook Color at Best Buy, bought a screen protector too so that I don't have a repeat of my first NC. The screens on these things are, I believe, rather sensitive and the cold or the moisture may have played a part in your unit's behavior.

Same here. My screen also seems very inaccurate.
Have you found a fix?

I'd be interested in a solution for this as well, since the edges of my NC screen seems to be a lot less sensitive. For instance, when the Market is launched, it takes 4-5 tries to hit the search button at the right top corner (I know that I can hit menu and select search from there, but I am trying to illustrate my point).

this modified kernel solves that

It's funny, actually... The cold makes your skin less detectable because of vasoconstriction in your fingers as a physiological response to the cold temperature, but a hint of moisture by means of condensation has the opposite effect.
For me, condensation is rarely a problem, but the decreased capillary blood flow effect is quite noticeable.

One thing that's been mentioned before (and the B&N salesman told me while buying a screenprotector) is that if the screen has a lot of fingerprints, it'll make the nook act weird.
Try wiping the screen of fingerprints.

Thanks for the reply. Is it safe to assume that the screen sensitivity would not be an issue in Honeycomb since it is designed for tablets? If so, I may just wait for the final release of HC before fiddling with different kernels, etc. Thanks!

final realease of HC? no one knows if we will ever have one...... anyhow, it seems to be a fix at kernel level (had to be fixed in eclair, froyo and HC), and it fact, it was discovered by deeper (the guy who ported our HC version)
my suggestion? go for it now. the sensitivity problem is way too bothersome, and it is very easy to apply

Yes, I'd love to take care of it ASAP, since I'm sick of trying to hit a small button on the screen and going somewhere else instead.
My NC was rooted with B&N 1.1 + Autonooter 3.0. Will I still be able to "apply" the changes that you mentioned on top of that or do I have to start from scratch?
Thanks!

Good test tool
I ran GoJimi's tool, and since then my screen has been flipping out. Typing anything is a good test...I enter one key like "z", and get 2 - "zm". Utterly maddening.
A good tool to see what's going on is "Mutitouch Test" from JerryW in the market.
When I press with one finger, I see a "phantom" 2nd point jumping around. Very quick way to see 1) how good tracking is and 2) if there's any random inintended multitouch action happening.

[REVIEW] Motorola Xoom Bluetooth Keyboard

I just got my Xoom bluetooth keyboard in today for my nook, and I got to say... I couldn't be happier
Typing on this thing is so easy as it is a full size keyboard. The keys are nice and big, but not to big but just the right size. They have a nice spacing and the whole keyboard just seems to flow and it let's your fingerrs move fast across the keys.
It does have it down sides such as: not all the keys seem to work most do without a problem but caps lock does not work, as does the Tab button. Arrow keys work, but they seem to be swithed, the left arrow goes up, the right arrow down, the up arrow left, and the down arrow, right. I assume these keys work on a computer that can make use of a bluetooth keyboard but seeing as my computer does not have such functionailty, I cannot test it out.
Around the edges there is a glossy finish which leads to mucho fingerprints. The keys are matte, so the only time they ever seem to get nasty is when you are really greassy, or you are sweaty.
All in all, I'd have to give this keyboard an 8/10 It would get a 7, but seeing as how I got it from wal-mart for around $10-20 cheaper, it makes it a great deal
P.S. It's not AS sexy as the pictures make it look :/ but its very slim and is still pretty sexy in person
P.S.S The nook box makes a great "dock" when you are at a table at the library
P.S.S.S I just took a typing test on my nook and got 58 words per minute, which is just a little slower than my normal typing speed of 65 on my computers keyboard
LOOK FOR PICS BELOW
*Sorry if my grammer and punction are off, I did type this all from the keyboard and will edit it when I can get home.
Thanks for letting us know, it sure does look cool

@DiscoPh3v3r: can you post a photo of nook and keyboard together for size comparison? Thanks.
you beat me on a review by one day! I also got it from wal-mart ship-to-store (expecting to get a text from them any minute saying it's there) and was surprised at the price difference even over Amazon! I figured man this is MADE for android, why not get it? the first BT keyboard I bought I had to take back (from Frys) bcuz not only was it broken, but also it was so small I don't know how they can consider it a full sized keyboard.
I'll be getting mine, as I said, today or tomorrow, so I'll write my thoughts on here as well (as long as the OP doesn't mind).
Quick question, does it come with a case or anything to protect it? If not, I'll be looking for something to do so since I usually carry my nook and such in my backpack...
Ill try to post a picture but camera isn't very good
And it doesnt really come with a case, but it does come with a nice little plastic sleeve it comes wrapped in, sure it will look cheap, but it works great for me.
Hey Disco, got mine today and it works great except for it going to sleep mid typing pretty often, any idea why and how to fix it? This would about ruin it for me if I can't get it fixed...

Yup, that was one of my mine gripes. I cant seem to get it to stay connected, I'm hoping it is nook related and not keyboard related, so that it can be fixed with a new nightly. As of late I have not been able to get to stay connected because sometimes it will last about 30minutes and then die, and other times it takes just a second or 2.

after talking to others, searching around the net, and frustrating attempt at fixes, I found a work-around. Download the app Bluetooth Keyboard JP, change the settings in settings > Language and Keyboard to that app, then connect the keyboard.
I went from a (max) of 45 seconds connected to not getting disconnected after writing a lengthy email, posting to facebook, and letting it sit for 10 minutes. I also didn't get that problem where the keyboard would seem connected, but all of a sudden hit the back button and exit out of the app/screen I was in.
It does have it's issues, though. One being that the faster you type the less responsive it is. I'm a very fast typer and it's hard for me to slow down, but it still was ok. Sometimes it will repeat a keystroke (i.e. we will turn into wwwwwwwwwwwwwwe), and sometimes the special character box will pop up while tying (although I think this, again, had to do with fast typing).
I'm going to try to get in contact with the CM7 devs and see what they think and if there is a fix in the works (or at least point it out to them and tell them about the app). Knowing those guys, they'll probably be able to fix the initial issue and eliminate the other problems with it!
Edit: Oh and with this app I was able to get tab to work on some apps, but not others (seems to work good with mobile websites), the back button works perfectly, as does the home key and search.

Samsung Galaxy Note 5 S-Pen Sensitivity Issue

Starting a new thread since I could not find any existing thread on this and it is quite surprising since this is a widespread issue and for the same reason Samsung service here in Melbourne even refused to acknowledge this is an issue! There logic seemingly being if the issue is present in the demo unit in the store as well, it is not an issue! Vodafone has also refused to honor the warranty, even though it is in the first month of my contract and they should be replacing the handset and dealing with Samsung, and have instead told me to provide them with an acknowledgement from Samsung stating it is an issue! Talk about deadlocks!
Now coming to the issue, I have found out that there are sensitivity issues when using the S-Pen on the bottom right and left corners of the screen. There are issue on the top part of the screen as well but they arent as serious. I would also request you to check the same on your device and report back if you are also facing the same.
To check, first get into diagnostics mode by dialing *#0*# and then go to the S-Pen tab.
1. As you can see in the video, the bottom right and left corners have definite and serious issues with S-Pen sensitivity. I found this out, and it is also a use case and one of the major reasons that I went for Galaxy Note 5, while taking a screen grab from the middle of the screen right until the bottom right corner. I just could not do it. As soon as the S Pen reaches near the corner, the sensitivity issue makes sure that input isn't recognized. Not only this, even when it manages to identify the touch, the tracking is random with the S-Pen having a mind of its own.
2. The second issue is while drawing on the top part of the screen with the S-Pen but this one is not as serious as the first one. You can see in the video that S-Pen loses sensitivity in one particular area of the screen. This is easily corrected though, by pressing the S-Pen harder on the screen.
This is apart from the lag and slowness issues that rear their ugly head every once in a while and in a phone which runs an Octa Core CPU with a whopping 4GB of RAM. This is my first Samsung in a long long time and it has left me disappointed again exactly like it did in the past whenever I bought a Samsung phone. To me the level of polish of the hardware on a device costing as much as this is simply not acceptable. What are your thought? Please report in this thread if you are facing the same issue as I am with the S-Pen.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XN41nE1lWGI
I have multiple stand-alone S Pens and don't experience what you're describing with them or the one included with the device.

Strange because I could replicate it on all the demo devices in the store. That is their reasoning for refusing the warranty as well.
I'll say this, the included pen is more responsive on the display than pens that are pre-Note 5 so something in the pen and/or display has changed.
Does it mean mine has a problem then? I am wondering if anyone else can also confirm the same?
I can confirm the bottom left and right corner of my note 5 behave just like OP's does... but wouldn't have found out if he didn't mention it

Thanks Alex. I found the issue because I could not take a screenshot which finished near the bottom corner of the screen. Now smart select is a headline feature of the phone and this hadrware oversight to be is just not acceptable. The Samsung service would not acknowledge it as an issue let alone do something about it. May be it is only on the first batch of phone. Who knows?
I checked my phone (SM-N9208 TW, mfg: will add later) and the bottom corners have poor tracking with the hover point flying off the screen when held above.
Overall this issue shouldn't affect the usability of the phone if you rarely use these areas since it's still possible though difficult to use the s-pen there.
Edit: I re-tested with my phone flat and s-pen vertical*. The s-pen can be used on the very bottom corners with precise movements, so I don't think will affect usability for most people most of the time.
*Having the s-pen on an angle can affect the tracking significantly as seen in your video. I think the only solution would be to modify the s-pen to track at the very tip. This would probably make the tip non-replaceable and/or more complex and expensive. If someone has time, try using the s-pen without a tip and see if/how it tracks.
Update: I tested a SM-N920W8 in store and it had the same corner issue.
I complained to Vodafone again and they decided to take the phone back. Back to trusty properly working iPhone 6s Plus 64GB. My last Samsung device no matter what the specs. I wouldn't be interested in one even if it will have a gazillion core CPU and few petabytes of RAM.
I have the same issue. Can anyone else, note 5 users confirm about this issue. (Bottom right hover issue)
I dont't face that problem
Edit: here is a screenshot

Mine does it a little bit.
It still passes the test so I believe it's within spec. I honestly don't see it being a warranty issue.

However, the note 4 s pen is entierly different as it doesn't have any Potentiometer under the click button. Link to article:

What annoys me most is that I never had this issue before I flew overseas last month. I started experiencing this issue after I came back and it has rendered my s pen useless. Has anyone found a way to adjust Potentiometer on the new S spen yet (it might be located under top cap but i'm not sure how to open it).

I am having this same problem. Did you ever find a fix for it? Thank you!
Yes confirmation of problem
I found the same problem. If you try to draw a square in the S pen test mode you cannot draw a square in the bottom left or right corner. The square will turn into some kind of strange wiggle shape.
I live in Malaysia and went to the official Samsung head office service center and they confirmed this is a problem with all Note 5 models and the lady showed me her own personal Note 5 which had the same problem (actually worse than mine).
The service technicians said they do not know the reason for this problem. But as an electrical engineer I suspect there is some sensors in those areas which cause interference with the S Pen.

Spen problems

Anyone else experiencing spen glitchy behavior? Example I'll be hovering the pen over the screen and it'll scroll or select things without me touching the screen and sometimes it won't register the spen touching the screen when I actually try to scroll, or I'll use the square app at work and when my clients need to sign the screen it'll register the pen before even touching the screen. I really like the spen feature but at this point it's too unreliable to even use, is this normal behavior? My wife's note 8 exhibits the same behavior. Tmo note 8 and we both factory restored before setting up and did clean install no transfer data crap.
do you have a screen protector ?
No not me works great and I use my Spen everyday.

No I do not, my finger touches are fine, it's only when I use the spen does it act glitchy, do you think it's defective?
No issues with mine on Verizon, with a screen protector.

Are you using a case with a magnetic kick stand?
My guess is yes.. can't use that with the Note's digitizer as the S-pen tech is magnetic based
If this is not the case (pun intended) then you probably have a faulty S-pen or Digitizer

No just a regular super slim case, it's so annyoing as it only exhibits the problem sometimes not always , I guess I'll have to take it back
You're not using a magnetic car mount either, right?

I do in the car but I noticed this issue immediately after first spen use and I didn't have a magnetic car mount yet, so I don't think they are related and I don't use the spen when I'm in the car
Some of the Same
I also absolutely love the S Pen and I've had the note line for years. This time around with the Note 8 I'm experiencing a weird glitch that's happening with Google products ie Google Chrome Google app Google Maps. Especially when I use the Google app to read different articles. When I open the articles it will literally freeze and not recognize any touch. However if I open that article with my finger and scrolled just a little bit with my finger then I don't suffer the same problem but if I initiate scrolling with the S Pen it freezes every time. This is really frustrating to the point where I have to force close the app to get it to respond at all.... Google and Samsung please figure this out!!!! It really is maddening!!!
At least Spen works with no issue on my phone. I use it pretty often for making notes and also I found it faster and convenient to write in chat messages..
Try changing the nib. I had similar problems which seem to have gone after a nib change, maybe coincidental.
No problem on mine at all. See if you can borrow spen from somebody and test with different pen maybe? Also I would reset the phone and test again, before sending it back.
I exchanged the phone and so far it's been good, fingers crossed
Are you maybe triggering some of the events and tools that the S-pen does without touching the screen? One place this first "caught" me off guard was reading email. When you hover just of the screen it gives you choices and can do actions. There are also scroll choices in Chrome that fire up by hovering.
Just to make sure, I suggest watching
.
If it isn't behaving like in the video and you know you aren't triggering hover events, then I would definitely get it replaced.
I can't understand why third party case makers continue making cases with magnets in them for our Note series. It usually causes issues with the S-Pen. Like, a foldable stand can just be designed to "click" in place when not in use. You don't need a magnet for that. And for the wallet type cases they can just use velcro or something to clip it back into place without a magnet.
Any update? I also sent my phone in for repair of a similar issue and when I got it back, it seems like nothing was fixed. Samsung wrote that they "replaced cosmetic" whatever that means?
I had a similar issue with my note 7, as the recall started and I refused to surrender my note7, claiming warranty was not an option, I bought a spen, and, that solved it, to this day works fine, in this case with a note 8, you must go and claim warranty or, try with some one else's spen to sort the problem out
Thanks for the reply. Unfortunately in my case it seems like the s pen is not the issue. I've gone into a Best Buy and used their pen and I still encounter the same issue :/

I had the same problem when searching with Google and the result was shown in Chrome. Using the SPen and the site hang. Using my finger no problem. I then changed from Samsung Internet Browser to Chrome as default browser. The problem was gone.

3 days in and disappointed

So iam now 3 days in with the S10 plus and i have to say that while theres lots i love about it , iam also disappointed. Here are my complaints thus far..... I pray some of these can and will be fixed with a software update.
1 - Camera, Yes its pretty good but i expected more. No better then the S9 imo. Expected a little more from Samsung with regards the camera this year.
2 - Kepad touch issues..... I virtually cannot type on this phone without constantly and accidentally hitting the 'p' key. I do not have chubby hands or anything but whenever i need to reach across to the left side of the keypad , iam forever hitting that 'p' key and it drives me crazy to the point where i may return the phone.
3 - No notification LED - This wouldnt be a deal breaker if Edge lighting worked properly but Edge lighting is pretty damn poor lets be honest. Works fine for default messaging app but thats about it.
4 - Fingerprint scanner - Was awful initially but improved massively once i removed the pre-installed screen protector and added a second fingerprint using the same finger. However, I still find that it occasionally fails to read my fingerprint. I feel like iam placing my thumb in the right area given that the icon lights up to help me but somehow it still sometimes fails. I would say it works around 80% of the time
5 - Fast Charging - Again i expected more. Its not slow but its not fast either. It takes around 1hr 45 mins to get from 15% - 100%
For me personally i would be happy if they could improve the keypad and fingerprint issue but theres already been updates and not much has changed.
You mention keypad, are you talking about the keyboard? If so just use another keyboard.

Tried another keyboard but same issue! Its the curved display ultimately thats the issue i guess not the keyboard. Although i also owned an S8 and S9 Plus and neither of them had this issue!

Ha When i reach over to the left edge of the display to type, my skin hits the 'p' key. Its absolutely driving me insane ha

You can modify the size of the keyboard for this very reason, move it up or down until you can use it comfortably.
You can also modify the curve display deadzone with goodlock.
I'm also surprised that AOD doesn't fill the void of a notification led.. it certainly does for me.. In saying that I would like to see a notification ring around the camera cutout, I think that would of been a nice touch.
I agree with you on everything you mentioned.
I would add one more thing regarding accidental touches, I am a skinny guy, and so are my hands, but whenever I am reaching to other side of the screen, I find the screen either not responding to my touches or causing accidental touches, what drives me crazy is that I check the palm of my hand and almost always it's not even touching the edge of the screen, it's as if even when your skin is hovering few mm above the edge if the screen the phone will take it as if your actually touching it, if that makes sense.
As for the camera, coming from the Note 9, I am so disappointed with the low light capabilities of this phone, even indoors it's not up to par with other flagships, I even get worse shots than my previous Note 9 and S9. To make matters worse, Samsung didn't include a propper night mode that can compete with Huawei's night mode or the Pixel's night sight.
Sorry for my bad English, I hope I was clear enough in delivering my point. Cheers.

Have you tried disabling Touch Sensitivity? I had some issues at first, but after disabling touch sensitivity, it improved a bit.

The S10 does have a Multi Colored Notification LED around it's camera cutout. This YouTube video explains how to activate and manage it.
https://www.reddit.com/r/Android/comments/b0p0o6/s10_s10_how_to_enable_led_notification_light/
Try using a light touch on the fingerprint display reader as opposed to a hard press, this is how it's designed to function.
The S10 Camera has a Pro Mode, you can adjust virtual any aspect of photos to your preference.

That notification is from using a 3rd party app and a light touch with the screen protector hasn't worked too well.
I am the same my main issue is the led notification for WhatsApp
Already thinking of going back to my old s8
Keyboard I am also having issues with clicking on the wrong keys

I contacted Samsung about the keyboard issue! All they suggest is to leave feedback. If your using the stock keyboard then it can be resized which i guess kinda is a solution but you have to bring it in from both sides to keep it centered and the keyboard then winds up been a tad too small so its not ideal! Its weird because my s9 plus was almost identical in terms of its dimensions yet it did not have this issue.
fingerprint scanner has also been a nightmare today! I could swear iam not doing anything different yet it works sometimes and rejects me other times. Its makin me miss the finger print scanner on the s9. It was so much better. Another small annoyance is how fast my battery goes from 100% to 99% lol
Battery in general is great but i charge it to 100%, Unplug it and seconds later iam at 99% .......... what the fudge ha
I used an iphone xs temporarily recently and i have to say that while it is over priced and in general Samsung is much better and cheaper too. However, Apple does things properly. It worked flawlessly and never gave issue. The Samsung is far better on paper and ticks all the boxes but in day to day use its just not as 'perfect'
