HTCSense.com Lock

I locked my phone to test it out using HTCSense.com however now at HTCSense.com the account is locked. While at my phone i don't see s&*%. I can't send stuff anymore. Does anyone know how to unlock this?
i had same problem while testing too, also my contacts and messages weren't syncing, and phone finder wasn't working. the only thing that did work was ring on full volume. to fix, remove the htcsense account from your phone, log out from the computer and recreate the account on the phone, when you log in to the site it will say no phone connected, just press the button for signed in on the phone and you're all set
it took a few tries for my phone to connect properly, it said my password was wrong about 4 times, but i got there in the end
Thank you for your reply it helped in the sense that it doesn't say the device is locked anymore however when i press send to phone it doesn't send anything while previously it did! You know how to help this problem?
I had the same problem but then I was playing with the phone an switched on auto sync which I kept off to save battery an then all of a sudden the phone locked itself an everyone kept txin me since it sent out the txs I did on htcsense.com which previously didnt work. So try it bro

For me everything is working correctly.
Some people said you need to start Gtalk, so you can use the full service of htcsense.com

Cheers,
I read your "tips", del sense accout oh phone, quit htcsense.com, relog and sync phone. OK
Start Gtalk (so I'm sure to try all, but I don't use whis app...).
After a little, and few refresh, login/out finally all the htcsensecom show me my correct position.
Thanx for your info.
My device works fine now with HTCSense.com, I did not do a thing, seems like they fixed some bugs. Lock device works, ring device works, location, sms, people, etc. all are ok.

[Q] Technical brick?

Hey guys, sorry to bother you, but i seriously need some help here. i have a droid incredible (love this phone to death!), but i use it as a primary phone, which means flashing roms and playing with my phone interrupts my "text my special friend" time, so i decided to buy a used g1 from ebay! great idea hu? ...not really!
</bg info>
well, i received my g1 today, and i was so excited. i checked and made sure everything was fine, so i turned it on, when i saw that there was no sim :/. luckily, i had an extra sim that my dad used when he had an old nextel phone, so i decided why not try and popping it in... but that didnt work because the phone was not unlocked >:/, so i pressed the dismiss button, then the real problem came in... the phone was completely wiped! so that meant i had to "touch the android to begin", well i did and i thought i was fine until the gmail screen came up and i have no way to sign on to gmail! i cannot access my home screen on the phone! i tried calling tmobile and htc for an unlock code to see if that helped, but no, nothing. i dont know what to do, if there is anything you guys can help me with, please reply! i really want to use this phone! thanks for reading this, and sorry for wasting your time! ...oh, and please, no flaming!
Connect to wifi
Sent from my DROID2 using XDA App
It doesn't give me an option to connect to wifi. Ive tried hitting menu, then wireless settings, but it does not say anything about wifi :/
is there any way i can get my phone rooted without having to access the homescreen? any update.zips that help me bypass the "touch the android" screen?
bump?

Your going to want to downgrade the phone back to 1.0 if it isn't already, and then follow this guide to connect to the Google servers via WiFi.
edit: I'm a new user, and not allowed to post links. So go to Google and type "G1 login to Google via wifi", it will be the first link you'll see. Make sure to first downgrade to 1.0, or else it won't work.

How do I downgrade to 1.0?! Lol, I'm not really sure how to find out if I am on 1.0 or not :/
It's basically downgrading back to RC29 (US G1) or RC7 (UK G1). Just search and download the DREAMIMG.nbh file and put it on the root of your SD card. Then go to bootloader mode (camera+power), and flash it. Restart phone and you'll be on Android 1.0.
Here is the link if you have a US G1: http://www.multiupload.com/9593XFAEYL

[Q] Stolen Phone - How accessible is my data on my phone

My phone was stolen yesterday evening. They turned it off which of course locked the pin, but if they remove the pin, how much of my phones data is accessible including saved passwords on accounts?
Can someone remove their SIM and see what access the phone grants them to accounts stored on the phone, like email etc?
To the best of my knowledge if they pull the sim card they will not be able to access any of it, and I doubt they stole the phone to get into your gmail. If someone stole it for themselves and are able to get past the pin, they will likely wipe it asap. If someone stole it to sell...the same.
Still to be on the safe side you should change your password with Google and any other accounts that could access your credit card info.
Sorry your phone was stolen, but your secrets should be safe.

Not sure on the I9000 version but i know I can get at all the info with or without a simcard inserted on the Captivate. I would change your passwords ASAP.
Thanks.
I've already gone ahead and changed my gmail password.
Luckily I wiped recently and didn't have many things installed.
I'm terribly depressed about this situation.
My phone, twas a gift.
Thanks for the advice and help.
When I changed SIM in my Galaxy S, phone asked me to re-enter gmail credentials. Unfortunately your data is not encrypted, so the thief can see your SMS, Skype chats and other things (especially if the phone was rooted). Android really sucks in terms of security
There is a tracker and remote wipe built into the security settings of the SGS but it needs to be activated and set up. A little late for you now but maybe for the future or others. BTW it still works even if the sim is changed and you can use the gps (even if switched off) and Google maps to pinpoint it.
my phone was stolen to, well, they did wipe him just before I used my lookout. damn.
but I also advise you to change some passwords.. just incase.

I use lookout as well - luckily haven't really had to use it yet.
There is an app called 'plan b' which you can install over the air from the market on android.Com/market, it allows you to track your phone but if the have cleared of then your most likely out of luck :/ your sd card will be fully accessible... hope you can manage to get it back

Afaik that can be uninstalled rather easily. Anyways, it's not really stealthy.
If you really want a stealthy track, lock, and wipe solution try Theft Aware from the market (7 days free) or google it, can be used without root (but root offers better features). Cheaper than Lookout too as it's a one-time fee.
If they steal my phone I could simply wipe it (installed on /system so it survives the wipe), lock it, trace it, anything by simple SMS commands. So even if I couldn't get it back at least I can wipe all data.
Won't help the OP sadly but for others this may be useful.
In really sorry for this incident mate
First I assume that you've changed your google & any email password u have over your device.
Next thing, I want u to make a call to your carrier so they block ur device via restricting the imei.
I had this question in my mind so I added a thread previously.

Lookout is a free app. Also, it can be run in "hidden" mode, and you can chose to have it run silently, and only be uninstalled via web .

Samsung account doesn't stay logged in

Hi there as the title says i can't stay connected at all, i have to re-enter always the password and it is annoying. I did deleted the account once and tried to log in back couldn't access the button SIGN IN so I had to FACTORY RESET on lpy, yes yes I know but it was the same for me bricked or not 100% functional phone is the same. The problem still persists after the factory reset, even some things have changed like social hub had a different approach to hotmail account from the last time I configured it.
Any ideas why it is so?

connect your phone to your computer via usb cable and copy the data
So basically I'd stepped on my phone and cracked the gorilla glass and damaged the lcd as well as its touch sensitive capabilities. The device powers on fine but is no longer interactive therefore disabling me from actually entering in my numeric security code. I can't access it as mass storage until the screen is unlocked. Device shows as "Xperia z" portable device in windows explorer but opening the drive shows an empty location.. Nothing to copy
Try removing your SIM. this will also disable pin

I don't know how you have your storage set up but most of it could well be on your SD card, take it out and check.
