htc one is not turning on, recovery mode is not working - One (M7) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hlw,greetings.
I have a htc one, which was running smoothly until last week when I was browsing facebook and suddenly it hanged and turned off. after then it is not turning on again. when I press power button sometimes only the htc screen splashes.
I tried possibly all button combination and the promiximaty sensor trick with no luck.
I have tried to flash RUU, but unfortunately every time there remains some error.
my pc is recognizing my phone as QHUSB_DLOAD. so I tried the linux method. But
I failed due to some unknown error.
my phones led light flashes when I pluges it in. after trying some button combination
I can turn it to solid red then to solid green. But the brightness of the green light is lower then it should be what in normal cases.
now I don't know what to do? I found so many person having this problem, but no fix is working for me . I thought flashing RUU would help me, but It.didn't.

Black Screen

My Fiancee's G1 wont turn on at all,No T-mobile slpash screen or nothing.LED lights turn on and Call,Home,Back and Power buttons light up except for the screen itself her phone wasnt rooted,I have never experienced this before.
Can someone please help?
the phone is not turning on via the power(end) button???
try pressing the camera button and keeping it pressed, also press the power button to enter into hboot mode...if u succeed in entering that mode, the phone is fine, or else it could be bricked.
Try Home+Power see if you can get into recovery mode.
If you can wipe cache data.
Hi everyone, hope it's okay to post this here since this Question relates to mine.
I'm having a trouble like this except instead it's like my backlight went out, it was working fine until my alarm on my phone went off and when I went to turn it off I had to take the battery out of my phone because the screen wasn't pulling up. It flashed basically, so when I put the battery in the screen came on but no backlight. Could it be due to Cyanogen? I'm restoring my backup to see what else could I try?
could u be a bit more specific?phone is working??? calls etc???or are u stuck somewhere????
As I said, the screen came on but no backlight. The phone works fine except for the backlight I'm trying to figure out if it's a hardware issue or a software issue. I don't know how much more specific I can get really except that the only way to see the screen is to hold it at a certain angle so the light hits it just right.

[Q] Unrooted/stock HTC One bricked?

So my HTC ran out of battery last night, and I left it overnight to charge (red light was showing up).
So I turn it on this morning, and nothing happens. I unplug it from charger and red light is still on, and when I held down powerbutton the home and back buttons would blink, but phone would not come on.
So I read online and tried the home+vol button trick under a bright light and the red light did go away, but nothing else happened.
Now when I press power button nothing happens, not even the home/back button come up.
When I plug it in to the computer I see a driver for QHUSB_DLOAD failing to load. And if I hold down power button and volume while connected to PC, I can hear it "unplugging and replugging" noise from pc.
So is my phone bricked? This was NOT rooted, it was simply the stock device.
I really just want the pictures I have on there, is there any way to get that data back?
QHUSB_DLOAD is related to the boot partition of your phone and is an extremely tricky driver to find. If, for whatever reason, that driver is buggered, your phone may be bricked. As you haven't rooted there really isn't much you can do past try a USB jig or shine a light at the light sensor (two black circles on the front) whilst you try and turn it on. On the bright side though, you should be able to get a relatively easy replacement.

[Q] HTC One Wont Turn On - Bricked?

Hi Everyone,
I haven't been on here for a while. I have a HTC one that has stopped working. It is flashing the home and back buttons when I try to power it up and the LED light isn't working when I plug it in.
I Have managed to mess around enough with it trying the bright light trick and all combinations of power + volume down/up buttons to try and get it to spring into life. Iv e tried these connected to a charger and connected to the laptop as well.
When I press the volume down button and hold it the LED came on and started to flash, then it became constant red. I've left it charging overnight and its now a constant green so fully charged or so it thinks. Ive since tried the combination of buttons again but when I do the led goes off.
Ive scoured the internet last night for anyone with my similar situation and found a lot of posts but none that match my situation exactly.
When I turn it on normally nothing happens apart from the on sound and the under device manager it says "HTC MTP Device".
I m going to make a quick vid and put it on youtube and add the link in here just in case anyone has been in this situation before and found a remedy.
Before anyone asks I don't know what rom was on it, or if it was unlocked bootloader. I bought it second hand and just started using it. It went off mid day with plenty of battery and it wasn't hot.
Any help would be most appreciated as im running out of ideas fast!. plus my fingers are sore...lol.

Steve

Freezes, reboot and other funky things

Sorry for my bad English
Hello friends of the forum, I present my problem. I was given to repair a S3 LTE really is driving me crazy. We'll explain: the owner did filth with ROM to the point to make it unusable. Turns on, but after a while it stops and turns itself off. I tried to flash the stock, wipe system etc .. from recovery and put back the stock, but every time I turn on the phone and get to the Initial Setup (the one that says Samsung GALAXY which allows choosing the language) crashes and off. Also known that the recovery is very very slow (both TWRP that stock that cwm). I managed to flash rom 2 including Cyanogenmod but this crashes. Sometimes the poor cell can not even start that hangs on and off. I tried to replace the battery with one that I already had and the situation does not change. I wanted to try to do an update of the bootloader because I think the problem is the. Further inform you that when it crashes but is charging if I remove the battery on the phone stays on but completely locked and I can not even press the power button for 3 seconds, because it is completely freezed. Another observation I have noticed is that if I leave him in charge when switched off the led solid red, the screen shows no signs of life and if the detachment micro usb LED remains lit sign that is completely blocked even when it is charging (WHILE TURNED OFF!). I hope you can help. I tried everything
Maybe it's power button problem.Check the power On/Off .

[Q] HTC ONE crashes when turned off and power plugged in

Hi all,
got another interesting one: Whenever I turn off my M7 and plug in the power cord, the little red light and the screen come on- but then then they stay that way. The screen doesn't turn off anymore like it usually does and the inidicator red stays red, the battery doesn't even seem to load. I have to do a hard reset to get it to boot again, otherwise it won't react.
It doesn't make a difference if the cord is already plugged in when turning it off or plugging it in afterwards. When the phone is on, everything works fine.
Any ideas?
I installed the latest KitKat ARHD last week, now I tried the GPE to see if that fixes it- but it's the same with both of them.

This problem is usually caused by the custom recovery. Irc, it was a problem with a unique twrp version, can't remember which one exactly. Red light stays on and screen never turn off when power cable is connected.

Damn, you're the man! I remembered downgrading TWRP sind ARHD wouldn't install with the latest one.
Reverted back to the latest version and everything is working fine again.
Thanks!
