[Q] making a SD card for gingerbread/NC

I wanted to make a SD card for gingerbread on nook color. Unfortunately the only way to get the computer to recognise the 16gb class 4 card is to have it in a phone. I have a Scandisk adapter and my computer has a slot to insert the SD slot on the PC but the PC will not recognise the card unless it is in a phone. what driver do I need to update toenable the computer to see the 16 gb class 4 memmory card?
Thanks

Micro SD Card with OTG

Hi;
I have an usb OTG cable and Micro Sd Card reader for using HTC ONE. At first it was worked well.. But after a while my phone doesn't recognize. I tried mouse with OTG cable and it worked. I tried another usb flash and it worked too. But this sd card is not working. By the way, I can see the sd card and format it on my computer. I tried FAT32, NTFS and Ext24. I installed the Paragon but no luck.
What do i must check?

Corsair flash voyager go 64gb otg format issues

I reformatted the otg drive above (big mistake) on my note 4 and everything seemed good until I noticed my Samsung TV no longer recognized the usb and wasn't showing up in source list. I reformatted the otg on windows to ntfs and Samsung recognized it but then note 4 said empty or unsupported and said I need to format. So it appears note 4 formated it in exfat but TV doesn't recognize. According to otg specs it default was exfat. Something is off because otg worked fine on TV and note 4 before I formatted it on the note. Any suggestions?
Well if you don't need file sizes larger than 4gb just format it as fat32.
The HP USB Disk Storage Format Tool should do the trick....

Or if you need large file sizes, ntfs is faster as well, format it as ntfs and get StickMount on your phone.

Either way it should get you up an running again.

exFAT via OTG?

Hi,
I just tried to read an exFAT formatted microSD card via OTG (with a SD card converter and then a USB card reader) but fail.
When I did some search, I heard from other people that Note 8 can read exFAT format, but mostly they are referring to if I put the microSD card to one of the sim card slot.
However for my case, I don't want to put it there, since the microSD card that I want to access is from my Mavic Air, which I want to copy those 4K video and RAW photos to my phone directly. It is too troublesome if I need to remove the sim card slot, put it in, copy and then pull it out again...
So is there really no way that Note 8 can read exFAT microSD card via the OTG way?
Many thanks for any help that can be offered.:laugh:
