Gear VR + Ps3 controller? - Samsung Gear VR

I've heard around that you can do that. with sixaxis and root. I've connected wirelessly and inserted my s6 into the vr. but the menus on oculus just wouldn't even respond to my head movement. and the buttons are all malfunctioning except back and the start button is there like any profiles I needa load?

I tried with a ps4 controller and it connects but has no input to the s7e

Smart Dock and HDMI

So I got my Smart Dock and also have a HD TV adapter from Samsung with the 11 pin adapter tip. Both units act the same. If I plug them in from my home screen the phone locks up with an unresponsive screen and a solid green display on my TV. I have to pull the battery to restore phone functions. However if I load a movie trailer or a YouTube video first and THEN plug in my adapter or dock the "HDMI connected" script comes up on the screen and the TV shows the phone screen the way it should. At that point I can navigate away from the videos to home screen and the display continues to operate properly. Any ideas anyone?? Thanks!!

All stock/unmodified AT&T Note 2 with genuine Samsung accessories. No other issues, no odd apps downloaded.

PowerA MOGA problems

Still beating my head against this one. Damn thing randomly disconnects from the phone during game play, and ONLY during gameplay. It sat connected on the home screen for about 45 minutes, even though it's supposed to "sleep" after about 10 minutes. I'm also seeing the control issues, with extra button presses, and overshooting analog sticks.
Is it the Pivot app? If I replace it with the Universal drivers, will it still work correctly with Wild Blood?
Did you give universal a shot? Did it work?

Gear not always waking up

Despite having movement turned on in galaxy gear manager, I can't get mine to respomd to wrist turns or screen taps after awhile, only the side button.
Anyone else have this issue?
same here, sometimes the gesture isn't detected i think. rotating you wrist down and back up again usually works for me though

Yep, I have the same problem.
However a simple wrist movement to look at the watch's face turns on the illumination for my Casio Protrek. It detects the same angle/movement and works flawlessly.
Required two moves of the wrist. First up and then turn

Getting irritating with not auto turning on. I just discovered if I do a slowwwwww twist it does turn on. try that.
This isreally my only big complaint

Cardboard 2.0 Issues

I picked up one of the free Star Wars cardboard viewers from Google. It doesn't seem to work with my Turbo. I am having 2 issues. The first it that it presses the capacitive buttons repeatedly when you try to put it in. Its really annoying but I can get around it by launching the app through the hole in the front. Second is that it doesnt line up properly for my eyes. It seems to be off somehow and the dots in the middle aren't in the same place. My friend tried his Nexus 6P in it and it worked fine, so I know its the phone. Has anyone else tried this?

I get the same capacitive buttons going crazy when I put it in the Cardboard. Annoying...
Yeah the buttons get set off by the sheen of the cardboard. And did you scan the qr code on the unit by your phone

Orientation Woes

Noticed recently when using my Gear VR the orientation seems to slip & slide all over the place. For instance if I'm playing Suicide Squad the angle that I'm standing at keeps changing & I'm constantly long pressing the back button to go in & reorient again. Just wondered if It's something I'm doing or something software related?
