Brick after incorrect rom flash [LooperXB] - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6

So i went to flash [ROM] Looper_XB but i made a mistake and flashed 5.0.2 when i needed to flash 5.1.1..Now i have made mistakes in past and would usually flash stock firmware in odin to my phone but this time it is not working. i downloaded stock firmware from here > LINKTOSTOCK. I get a error in Odin. i can go into download mode and into TWRP. I dont know what my next step is.. yes i know how to use a search bar.....i thought maybe i could flash the correct 5.1.1 Looper rom onto my phone through TWRP but i cant get my phone mounted to laptop to where it will let me transfer any files that way.. i can view all files but once i go to transfer the file over the phone will basically disconnect...In need of some help here guys.
Also was searching around and saw something about using kies , which i downloaded and installed but my phone wont connect. I only get the samsung galaxy screen and TWRP and Download mode like i mentioned

As a last resort you can always download either Samsung Kies or Samsung Smart Switch software and restore your device with the original firmware. You will need your model and serial number. You can get your s/n by booting into download mode and then pressing the home button.
Sometimes Kies will not work on the first couple of tries but it eventually should. If it still doesn't then try Smart Switch.
Once you have restored your device you can start from scratch.

I did and didnt find anything helpfull for my situation.
Also tried to root again but again its stuck on downloading... do not turn off target screen.
Boot to download mode and it says as it should Downloading do not turn off .
You are now supposed to flash the firmware via odin .
You should flash your stock firmware to get the phone working .
Then read the basic faqs and guides before you flash anything as its pointless flashing without reading the basics .
Or take it to a service centre .

Thanks for the reply ill consider doing that

Is there a way to know my version/pda since i have no idea what stock rom to download
Device model no. in recovery mode
Hi,
Sorry to ask a random question. I Have my device model no. as S3 I9305 when I go to download mode and in my phone settings I can see my device model as S3 I9305T. I have recently installed Australian official firmware(XSA version without any career bloatware) in my phone, which is the S3 I9305T. I found it weird to have two different model nos. in 2 different places. When I first bought this phone it was the Telstra version, which is S3 I9305T. After that I changed many firmwares and installed S3 I9305 version from optus and other country's S3 I9305 version as well. Could you please tell me why is that?? Is this because I once installed I9305 firmware once? If that's the reason, today I flashed I9305T official firmware again with Odin. Is there any way to reset the download mode as well?? Please reply. Thanks.

Not unless you know what it is or saved the original .
You can just pick a stock rom for your area/ network .
If you bothered to read the basics their would be no need for all this ratting about .
@JJEgan I need some help, Ive got device, with same problem (i9305)
the donwload mode (which it defult boots into) does not show any device infos (which normally shows on the upper left corner)
Ive tried flashing latest stock rom (4.3) it gives an error (NOT "error pit file partition" but error flashing. failed it does not go beyond sboot )
any help? I am looking for 3 or 4 part firmware for this model, so that I could flash with pit.

So you run odin in windows.
Boot your phone to download mode
Connect device and wait for confirmation of connection in odin.
And then you click pda and choose a stock firmware.
And click start.
@tissot Odin gives fail error as I stated before. Am going to try 3 part odin package ive downloaded,.

[Q] Need help . In danger of hard bricking Note 4

Ok , step by step of what I did and where Im at now .
I got the Note 4 today . Played with stock firmware for a moment ( last running firmware was Anj7 baseband stock unrooted ) . Booted into download mode rooted with ch-root and checked nand erase all in Odin . I believe it erased the stock rom . Binary was changed to custom confirmed in download mode screen .
Then Flashed TWRP .
boot into TWRP when I try to wipe it says
cant mount /data cant mount anything basically and wipe fails because nothing will mount.
I try to install FireKat v5 rom and it says successful despite TWRP wont mount anything( is v5 anj? . Do I need to flash stock rooted before I can flash any other rom ? )
Reboot after install and it goes into a boot loop after boot screen transitions into boot animation .
So at this point I have no bootable rom . It doesnt appear anything will mount in TWRP for some reason .
And Im considering flashing sammo official ANJ rom to atleast get a working phone but I dont know what changes the bootloader version be it ch root or flashing a rom . And right now Im scared if the bootloader has changed and I try to revert to an older bootloader with the sammo official anj rom it could hard brick .
Im gonna need some serious advanced help here. I never done nothing like this mess before

Let me try my noob expertise out lol...from what I know the only way to hardbrick is by using the wrong modem on your variant. So I think you have nothing to worry about. What you have is soft brick.
Download from sam mobile nj7 or nk4 firmware and reflash via odin. Hope this helps.

Ok im downloading nj7 right now . I think the problem I did was erasing nand when I did first root and it caused no partitions to be set.
What part of the root process was not clear. If you look online u will find step by step rooting video. Go back to stock and try again thru odin
BAD ASS NOTE 4
Just flash stock rom with Odin and start over. Don't do the crazy erasing step next time. These phones are hard to brick. I've honestly never seen one I couldn't fix.
Yes, in Odin you shouldn't be clicking anything other then the pda box to put the proper tar in. Which of you download the cf auto root zip. Then make a new folder on your desktop. Open the downloaded cf auto root zip. Then highlight and drag n drop all files/contents of your Cf auto root zip into the newly created folder on your desktop. From the newly loaded folder right click on Odin run as administrator. Once in there put your phone into download mode and hook it up via USB to your pc a blue box with the word Com and a number will pop up in the upper left. The number doesn't matter as long as it says Com and a number, this is odin's way of showing it recognizes your device. . Hit the pda tab it'll bring you to that folder with only one file showing. Double check it's named Tmo to insure you downloaded the correct one. Select it. Odin will automatically fill in the proper boxes.
Hit run and it should knock it out fairly quick.

Bootlooped s6 question

-Mucking around with .Zips
-Flash .Zips
-Bootlooped s6.
-OH NO.jpg
-Can still get to recovery and download.
-Factory reset/wiping cache didnt work and no roms on phone to flash.
-Going to flash via Odin.
-Need to find Tar or Md5 for odin.
-dont want to really flash Stock firmware via odin anyone know where i can find custom flashable firmware via odin?
Get Samsung's Smart Switch, boot to Odin/Recovery Mode, plug in phone, then under "More" click on "Emergency Device Recovery/Initialization," from there go to the Initialization tab, type in the model number, and S/N number (found on the sticker on the back of the phone, hope you didn't tear it off...) and sit back while Smart Switch fixes your phone. Keep in mind, everything you had on the phone WILL be ERASED!. This will flash the stock firmware, updated to 6.0.1, so yeah. I know you wanted to stay away from stock, but unless there's a ROM with the android version you want, you're outta luck...It's funny cause I was doing the same thing as you were, except I was trying to get TWRP working on my G920T, which apparently doesn't like my phone.

help please!

Once odin shows PASS go to stock recovery and do factory reset and wait 15 minutes to boot.
Do you have N910T tmobile note 4 ?
Link below for n910t latest firmware.

yes i have a tmboile note 4

Wiped EVERYTHING (I MEAN EVERYTHING)

My cousin thought it would be a good idea to wipe his phone via TWRP. However in doing so he wiped the entire phone ROM and all. I downloaded the latest stock rom, tried to flash via Oden and was unsuccessful. The only information I was getting is FAILED. I'm not sure if I need to download and install drivers on the phone first or if it's just bricked for good. Any help would be grateful. I'm familiar with Oden and rooting, however I've never come across something like this.
Thank you.

Question #1
If he has TWRP installed, does he have a backup you can restore? If not...
Why not flash a custom Rom from the Android Development forums for this specific device?
But back to your Odin error...
When you connect the device to your PC while Odin is open and your device is in "Download" mode, does Odin show the words "Added in the dialog window?
If Odin shows "Added then the drivers are installed into the PC and your PC and Odin are recognizing the device.
Make sure you click on "options" in Odin and un-select "Auto-Reboot".
What does Odin say at the bottom of the dialog window after you hit the Start button and the installation fails?
Sent from my SM-G955U using XDA-Developers Legacy app
He has no backup saved to restore. I'm not sure why I've not tried a custom rom, I'll see if that does the trick. When I connect the phone to the computer it does say Added in the dialog box and I have Auto Reboot un-selected.

If Odin has failed with all things looking normal, are you sure you have the exact, matching stock firmware for the device?
Odin can do funky things sometimes. Also, what version of Odin are you using? I would suggest downloading a new version of Odin and verify you have downloaded the correct firmware for the device with the correct region.
Which device are we talking about again? It's a T-Mobile Galaxy S6, correct?
Sent from my Samsung SM-G955U using XDA Labs
Seems the first stock rom I downloaded even though it matched MD5 was faulty. I downloaded the stock rom again from a different source and was able to install everything perfectly. Thanks for the help everyone. Now I'm off to find a way to unlock.
